The perfect holiday treat, even though it's just beginning to be fall. Kauffman brings Sunny's friend Stevie to Blue Hollow Falls where we also meet Noah. Noah is the type of character that made me fall in love with romance novels. Add in some weather, some hi-jinks and lovable characters and this story will win your heart. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough. I could have used a full book for these two. But I'm sure they will pop up in future stories. Can't wait for the next book. **I received this book for free for my honest opinion and review.

Donna Kauffman is one of my favorite authors. Her writing draws you in and makes you care about her characters. I thoroughly love all the Blue Hollow Falls books and this novella is no exception. The interaction between the characters and the setting make this book truly come alive. The way the author weaves the character's stories together and sprinkles in recipes and other fun touches, like snowmen, just adds so much to the series. I would give this book more than five stars if I could - I look forward to reading this series again and again. I greatly appreciate receiving a copy of this book and all opinions are mine.

I was given this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Sweet, quick little novella. Stevie comes to the mountains to help her best friend over Christmas with her new greenhouse. Getting snowed in with the hunky owner of the inn where she is staying is just a bonus.

Can he love the Grinchiness out of her?

I adored Stevie in the first book, Blue Hollow Falls. She was so funny and was a great best friend. I was tickled to see that she would be getting a turn to find love. I enjoyed getting to know her and how level-headed she is. She has obviously put a lot of thought into her choices. I also loved that she was so honest with Noah about herself and her feelings.
Noah was just as honest back with her, and that was refreshing. None of this silly misunderstanding stuff. They had actual conversations. Noah is a really good man who just needed Stevie to come along and make everything perfect.
Because Noah and Stevie actually talked, this novella avoided the common trap of seeming to resolve out of nowhere. They fell in love quickly, but they had a foundation going. This makes the story satisfying to read.
The Christmas Present bits were a creative touch. I loved the snowman motif running through the story, too.

My only negative comment would be the story ended too fast! I would love to visit BHF and stay in the inn with the description from Donna Kauffman! Not sure about the secret ingredient in Stevie's stew, but everything else sounded delicious! And again, the greenhouse sounds amazing! Loved the romance of Stevie and Noah and look forward to the next!

I enjoyed this book but it was too short. It provided a good story, Stevie & Noah’s romance leaves you feeling as if you were there watching a movie unfold instead of reading a book. Can’t wait for e next book in the series.

This was a cute and quick Christmas read. I loved how the story started out and kept my attention throughout. It was too short and it felt like there could be so much more to the story, but I do like a quick holiday romance.

Stevie seems to always have bad luck in her relationships with men so the chance to travel to Blue Hollow Falls to help her friend Sunny get her new greenhouse business started appears to be just what Stevie needs. The only problem is that Sunny's house is being renovated so Stevie has to find a place to stay. There is a local B&B and this is where Stevie finds a physical place to stay and an emotional home for her heart. She feels an immediate attraction to the owner Noah but you just know that this is more than physical. Snow covered roads, roaring fires in the fireplace, and the warmth that is evident during the Christmas holidays are all part of this Christmas novella and The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls seems the perfect place to stay. Add a beautiful cover and a heart warming romance and this enchanting story from author Donna Kauffman leaves readers looking forward to returning to Blue Hollow Falls!

I received a complimentary copy of this e-novella but I was under no obligation to post a positive review.

Review: I have to say, I was quite glad that I had read book one in the series before reading The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls. I don’t think I would have been lost, but Stevie was introduced in that first book and it just made getting to read her story more satisfying. It was the same with the setting. Most of the story takes place within the inn and very few of the townsfolk make appearances. So, all that said, it will stand on it’s own.

Stevie had a slightly unconventional upbringing and without any family around, she’s not really interested in Christmas. She decides to go to Blue Hollow Falls for a working vacation with her bestie Sunny. And then there’s Noah. He’s the local innkeeper, fulfilling his life’s dream. Both are a little gun shy when it comes to relationships, but there are sparks between them… and those sparks lit up the pages.

There honestly wasn’t much of a plot other than bringing these two together. And for a short story, that was all that was needed. Ms Kauffman, did a great job of character development as well as really showing the reader the romance between Noah and Stevie. I enjoyed watching them both get over their misgivings and give in to the chance at true love. Ms Kauffman had me laughing and then crying as I eagerly turned the pages.

After reading Blue Hollow Falls, I was eager to return to this series and couldn’t wait to get Stevie’s story. And I love Christmas novellas, so this book hit all the right notes for me. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Ms Kauffman is one of my go-to authors when I need a solid read. And The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls is another fine example of why I keep coming back.

This is a short but sweet novella from Donna Kauffman, as it was quite short story their is a lot of instalove, so if that's not your thing this probably not good for you, as I didn't realise this was a sequel, I am definitely interested in reading the first book now.

Cute romantic story. Reads like a hallmark movie. I was enjoying the story and then all of a sudden it was finished. I was disappointed it ended so fast. I felt like the author realized they only could use so many pages more and had to quick finish. I wished there would have been more interaction between Stevie and Sunny. The story was kind of lonely just focused on the main 2 characters and a few people at the inn. Wish it wouldn’t have went on for a few more chapters. I wanted a thicker plot but it was nice and simple which made for an easy read.

4.5 Stars

This is a wonderful Christmas novella and a great addition to the Blue Hollow Falls series. Stevie and Noah weren't exactly looking for love, but it kind of snuck up on them. She is from the city and he is working at the Inn. Their romantic story gave me the warm fuzzies and as I read it I kept thinking how the author made this couple fit together with such ease, as if they always were meant to be together. I loved when Stevie pitched in to help Noah out in the kitchen and just watching their chemistry develop into love. I can't wait for the next story!

Stevie Franklin isn't the best judge when it comes to men, but there's something about Noah Tyler that makes her want to take a chance. However, she's only in Blue Hollow Falls for a short time to help her best friend Sunny and can't see herself staying since she's a city girl through and through. Yet, the more time she spends with Noah and remembering why Christmas can be a joyful time of year, the more Stevie begins to realize how much she might be missing out on when it comes to love and happiness. Will Stevie take a chance on Noah, or will their happy ever after never happen?

This was a super quick read that I had finished within an hour, as Ms. Kauffman's writing is absolutely captivating and drew me in immediately, as Stevie has finally arrived in Blue Hollow Falls to help her best friend launch her new greenhouse business. Will Stevie fall in love with the small town and want to stay? However, it was from the moment Noah and Stevie met that had me hoping for the best for this couple, as their chemistry was instantaneous and fun as they get to know each other.

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories, which should make them wary of relationships, and yet, Noah is more than ready to find his Ms. Right. Certainly, he sees something in Stevie that makes him think she could be the one. Will he win her over? Will Christmas be a time of miracles for the pair? Furthermore, there were some really good light-hearted moments between the hero and heroine that I absolutely loved and that made me laugh, especially in the moment where a touch of trouble strikes for Noah's B&B because of Stevie's willingness to help him with some cooking.

Moreover, the heroine is resilient, hard-working and I liked how determined she was to help her friend launch the new greenhouse. I also enjoyed the interactions between the hero and heroine, as Christmas is a wonderful time of year where everyone should have fun, which is something the heroine needs after all she's been through and I liked how determined the hero was to rekindle the heroine's holiday spirit and show her that love can be a good thing. While the hero, he's done well for himself and I liked how determined he was to make everyone enjoy their time at his B&B, even though everything isn't going according to plan with his chef being stranded and other troubles arising. He's also kind, caring, loyal and I liked how he earned the heroine's trust, especially in the moment when he needs her help and she turns out to be his Christmas miracle with everything she does to help him.

Overall, Ms. Kauffman has delivered a wonderful novella for this series where the chemistry between this couple was strong; and the ending had me cheering for this couple's happy ever after, as Stevie finally has a Christmas to be thankful for this time. I would recommend The Inn at Blue Hollow Falls by Donna Kauffman, if you enjoy second chance romances; the opposites attract trope; small town romances; are looking for a quick read that will entertain from start to finish or if you like books by authors Debbie Mason, Melissa West, Sharon Struth and Allison B. Hanson.

This has a lot of things that I can't resist. THere's a big greenhouse being restored, an old inn, and a woman a bit out of her comfort zone reconnecting with old friends and herself. I've read several books by Kauffman in the past and enjoyed them though she's never made my "Must Read" list. The main characters - Stevie and Noah were both very nice and I loved that they were staying under the same roof in Noah's historic inn. I loved the descriptions of the greenhouse that Stevie and her friend are working on restoring. But somehow I could never make myself care. There was never anything that really made me connect with the story and so on day 3 of reading only a few pages I decided to call it done. There's nothing bad here but there's nothing that really hooked me either.

This is a short story and part of the Blue Hollow Falls series. Noah and Stevie get together for this Christmas love story . Both are characters from previous books. I think my only complaint is they deserved an entire book to explore their relationship. Blue Hollow Falls seems like a wonderful place to visit and if this is your first encounter with this series don't worry, you'll pick up story lines just fine.
