Wolf Hunter is the fifth book in the Arctic Brotherhood series, and we finally have Sebastian and Cindy's story. The hints were there for these two, but we have had to wait until now to read all about them. Cindy has no idea how to tell the people that she regards as family that she was Hendrick's best friend, not lover. They all assume she has taken his bite, become his mate, and is now a werewolf. Even Sebastian, although the thought of that gives him feelings that he is not prepared to deal with. Too soon though, he realises he doesn't have a choice, when a story he is chasing ties up with the Brotherhood once more. Past links come to life, showing the Brotherhood that there has been more to this than meets the eye.

This story is very nicely written, and flows smoothly from one scene to the next. The ties that bind this book to the previous ones are all obvious, once you find them out! The characters all remain as brilliant as ever, completely different to each other, and yet wholly complementary. I can't wait to read the next book as this one has done a grand job of building up to the climax. With steamy scenes as a bonus, this is a wonderful story that will keep you turning the pages. Absolutely recommended by me.

Wolf Hunter by Jane Goodman is the fifth book in the Arctic Brotherhood series. This series for me is best read in order. You need the backstory to understand the stories going forward. I have read them all so far and love them.
In this story, Cindy has been a companion to Hendrick. Everyone has thought they were mates. Now Hendrick is dead. Cindy wants to preserve his memory and doesn’t want to tell people they were not really mates. More like best friends. She is confused about everything. She has all Hendrick had owned but she would trade all of that for a real true love.
Sebastian is a freelance journalist. Hendrick had been his best friend so now he is having all these feelings for his mate he is confused too. He wants revenge for what happened to his best friend and mentor. But how can he overcome the feeling that Cindy is really his mate?

There are a lot of miss understandings in this book. But once they were overcome there is a beautiful love story here. I could not stop reading this one. I think this is the best story yet. There is angst, love, adventure, and revenge. So much I didn’t want this one to end ever. If you love this series this one is a must-read.

Wow, this Brotherhood of the Arctic Wolves series just keeps getting better and better. I loved the slow but extremely fast romance between Sebastian and Cindy. Both had been hiding their feelings for years, but the secret couldn't stay hidden any longer. I loved how not one member of the Brotherhood blinked over their new romance--it was just accepted. And, jeez, the suspense with Chastel and Fenrir is heating up quickly. I can't wait to see how the series concludes with Wolf Leader.

Cindy performed her weekly ritual at Hendriks memorial. Six months had passed since Hendrix's murder and Cindy still couldn't shake off the lethargy since Hendrix had died. The Brotherhood couldn't allow Hendriks remains to be found or tests would show Hendrix who was a prominent Alaskan senator was actually an Arctic werewolf. Almost nine years had passed since Samson Lee- one of the Brotherhood- had rescued Cindy from the motorcycle gang that had kidnapped her. then Samson had taken Cindy to Kendrik's mansion, she had been traumatized, terrified, and alone. Cindy thought " you took care of me" and now Cindy didn't know how to survive without Hendrik. Hendrik and Cindy had never been more than best friends. Cindy's best and only friends were werewolves. Hendrik had made sure financially Cindy would be okay with what he left her in his will. All the Brotherhood thought Cindy and Hendrik had been lovers but she hadn't loved Hendrik that way. So she and Hendrik had lived a lie. Sebastian couldn't see the need for regulations. If Sebastian wanted something his mind would find a way for it to happen. Circumventing obstacles, dancing with danger, even flouting the law were things Sebastian did best. Sebastian was very good at his job as a journalist as he got to the heart of the story before other journalists were even aware there was something going on. Sebastian decided he wanted to see Cindy and flew out to Fairbanks and went to see her first. Everything came back to Cindy. The reason for the twisting gut wrenching nervousness Sebastian was feeling. Sebastian didn't do this. Didn't do uncertainty or fearfulness not unless Cindy was involved . When Sebastian got to Hendrik's mansion Cindy came running out the door terrified and refused to go back inside. So Sebastian suggested they go get something to eat and talk. Cindy was super attracted to Sebastian she just never let him know and everyone had thought she was with Hendrik. As Sebastian ate Cindy told him everything she described the feeling of being watched, the increasing discomfort, the growing grinding sense of fear . Someone had touched Cindy's cheek yet was invisible. She had sensed evil coming from the unseen presence. It had been as powerful as as a magical charm. Sebastian told Cindy that he believed her because he could feel it also even at the restaurant. From the first moment Sebastian had seen Cindy he wanted her, everything about Cindy knocked Sebastian sideways. Four years ago Sebastian knew Cindy was his mate. There was a prophecy the evil Castel would be killed by a giant Arctic werewolf. Because of that Castel feared and hated all Arctic werewolves and was determined to destroy them first before he went after the other werewolves until all werewolves were destroyed. Castel tried to scare Cindy away as she could keep Sebastian centered, sane and focused and not going off on his own because he was a hothead. Kastel wanted Cindy gone because he knew Sebastian needed her. Sebastian had convinced himself he wasn't worthy of anything good. Sebastian couldn't walk away from Cindy she was his mate and it would kill him to try.
As usual excellent book and I loved it. I would recommend you read the other books of this series as it just brings everything together and all the reads are great reads also. I just love the Arctic Brotherhood! This book had: Intrigue, mystery, murder, mind control, taking over innocents bodies, romance, magic, gods, evil wizards and so much more. I loved that Cindy and Sebastian finally had this chance. I just loved the plot and the pace and I didn't want to put this down. It had my attention from the first page to the last. I am so very glad we will have at least one more Brotherhood book maybe more if we are lucky. Anyway I could find nothing to complain about which was great. I loved everything about this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend.

Love this series , can't wait to see what the author does next. With that said I would love to say thinks to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book in a change for my honest opinion.

Book 5 we rejoin the brotherhood but this time with Sensation. He's the thinker of the group, but he is struggling because of his need for Cindy.

You need to read the books in order not onmly to follow the plot line as it extends through each book building up..... but you meet Cindy earlier in the series.

It was good and I wanted to rate it higher but I feel the action part of the book took a back seat. After all the build up the way the villains were dealt with felt a bit eh.... I've reached my limit we are done now. I mean ya there is a plot twist this time around with Chastel and Fenir but still. I was a bit let down. All in all good and will read Viggos story.

Received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review.
I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. All the other ones did get a 4-star review, though.
Sebastian and Cindy make a great couple. If you read the other books, you would have seen the couple gradually gravitating towards each other. Great sex scenes. Profound meaning, not just sex; it's poignant sometimes (and playful at other times).
Plenty of action; plenty of emotions to go through; plenty of suspense and mystery.
Although each book can be read in any order, you get the best of the underlining story by reading them in order.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have loved this ongoing battle against Fenrir and Chastel while each member of the brotherhood finds their mate. It is great that there is enough detail that helps explain what has happened in previous books for those who have not read earlier books in the series and for people like me who don't remember all the details!

This book, Sebastian finds his mate but not until after much denial on his part! Everyone just assumed that Cindy was Henrik's mate and Sebastian could not understand his attraction toward her if she was the mate of another wolf.

Lots of twists and surprises in this book but not surprising when you are dealing with the son of a trickster god! It was great that the Cindy was able to piece together Fenrir's plot against the brotherhood and how he was using their weaknesses to try and take them out.

It looks like the next book will be the big showdown between the brotherhood and Fenrir and that little cliffhanger from Gunnar that he had found a loophole....can't wait to find out what that is and how they resolve the Fenrir problem and maybe can enjoy their lives!

Let me start off telling you that Wolf Hunter is the first that I have read in the Artic Brotherhood series and I really have to question my lack of judgement in missing out on this thrilling series.

In relation to the above statement, the author let information trickle into the story in just the right way to provide me with enough of the back story to pick up on the major conflict of the series without giving too much away or letting it take up too much of the current story. So the book can be read without reading the others but I do believe it will be better when I read the other ones and then re-read this one.

Cindy and Sebastian’s chemistry heats up the pages while their romance is being overshadowed by the evil that is stalking Cindy. The main characters are strong and readers can easily get caught up in their story and the supporting characters are just as strong and make up quite a brotherhood to fight Fenrir and the sorcerer Chastel which gives the story a well-rounded and solid group to engage reader’s imagination.

The action, suspense and thrills keep readers on the edge of their seats as the hero and heroine along with the rest of the Brotherhood fight to get ahead of the malevolent plans that Chastel and Fenrir have in store for them and the rest of the world and the twists and turns ensure that readers never stop turning the pages. I also would like to give the author a thumbs up on the climatic ending and the setting up for the final book!

Jane Godman has taken me surprise with her world of Norse mythology and werewolves and I will definitely be on the look-out for more books from her in the future.

Wolf Hunter, Arctic Brotherhood Book 5 by Jane Godman is a fast-paced action-packed continuation of the Artic Brotherhood fight against their enemies. The two main characters have been supporting characters in the previous books. Cindy had been the late Hendrik Rickard’s friend and housekeeper after being rescued by Samson from a biker gang. This happened in book two of the series. Artic Wolf, Sebastian has been denying having feelings for her. It is about time these two receive their story!

Between an enemy and a crazy god, the Artic Brotherhood have their hands full. Now it seems that Cindy is a new target. On the way to an HEA, Sebastian must keep her safe while trying to defeat an enemy. These two deserve happiness, just as much as justice should be served.

The overall theme is quickly building, which I greatly appreciate the author not drawing it out past the original brotherhood. Not that I am anxious for the series to end. It is well developed fantasy with a meshing of the shifters within a more realistic world. It is also a series best read in order to completely appreciate Wolf Hunter.

Most assumed that Cindy was Hendrik’s mate, truth couldn’t have been further away from that idea. Yes, they were friends, best friends even and Cindy took care of Hendrik’s home – her official title was housekeeper. But there was nothing more between them beyond the love of a good friend. Cindy, like all of the pack members, was destroyed at Hendrik’s death. She still lives in his home, still continues to care for the place almost as if he’d walk back in one moment, but she knows full well he won’t. Now the place she called home no longer feels safe. She is sensing unseen eyes watching, tracking, keeping tabs on her. It’s not her imagination so she turns to the one man that she quietly wishes looked at her with more than surface affection.

Sebastian has been attracted to Cindy from their very first meeting, but he’d also made the incorrect assumption that she was his friend’s mate. Now something is not right, Cindy is feeling watched or more deeply threatened by something unseen. He cannot stay away when she needs him, and suddenly realizing that while they are facing a dangerous situation – Cindy is his and this time he will not be letting her go.

Wolf Hunter is filled with the fast paced action that I expect in this series. There is danger once again to be faced, and old enemies are up to new tricks. Sebastian and Cindy make an intriguing couple. The chemistry is off the charts, and I could easily see these people together for the rest of their lives.

This series is one that I believe reading it in order will give you the best experience. Could you read this one without the background? Yes, there is enough explanation to fill in the holes, but I don’t think the impact would be as great. But that’s my opinion. I enjoyed my time in this world once again and I’d definitely recommend this story and the entire series to any Paranormal Romance reader.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Oh boy, the blurb for this series claims it will keep you on the edge of your seat - and they're not kidding! I'd previously read all the earlier titles in this series and couldn't wait to read more and I wasn't disappointed. The story is a suspense filled paranormal romance with myths and legends added too. It is a real page turner, that had me hooked from start to finish - and then I just had to move on to read the final book in the series straight away - I'm so glad it was available without me having to wait.

In this story readers reconnect with Cindy, the young lady who lived with Senator Hendrik Rickard but, unknown to most people, they shared a home but not a bed. She's always felt connected to Sebastian Novak, a member of the Brotherhood, very aware of him whenever he entered the room she was in but never letting him know. He is also attracted to Cindy, but resisted because he assumed she was Hendrik's mate. When she calls, worried about someone or something watching her, he rushes to protect her. That's the start of another action packed, intriguing, dramatic adventure for the Brotherhood - one that has them facing invisible foes, an old enemy and fighting to protect humanity and those dear to them once more as they endeavour to thwart the manipulations of both Chastel and Fenir.

I think that having read and thoroughly enjoyed the previous books in the series enhanced my enjoyment of this book but that it would still work as a standalone as the author does fill in the background information needed to understand and relate to events. There are a few curve balls thrown in this story to keep the reader guessing and the romance between Cindy and Sebastian is quite sweet despite the turmoil. Cindy proves herself a worthy mate and has her own role to play in then battles, showing that it isn't only brawn that wins battles, having brains and thinking of alternative solutions can also help win the day! I have no hesitation in highly recommending this whole series to anyone who enjoys stories with a brilliant mix of mythology, shifters, magic, suspense and romance.

I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First time reading this author. This is number 5 in the series and I have not read any of the earlier..ones. It is not the best stand alone but you can do it. You will be a little confused but power through it. The characters are likable and entertaining. It's a quick fun read. I personally don't like the god aspect but don't let that stop you. I rate this a 3.5. I think most paranormal romance readers will enjoy this series. Let me know what you think. Enjoy

It's nice returning to the Brotherhood series. I can admit, I've missed these guys. Add in the drama with Fenrir, that crazy God, and we're in for yet another bumpy ride.. Remember that biker girl that was picked up by Samson in book 2? This is her story....ok, and Sebastian's.

Cindy had been living with Hendrick for the past four years. Well, up until 6 months ago when he was murdered. She's still living at the house and carrying out the "housekeeping/best friend" duties, but something doesn't feel right. She's been feeling as though someone has been watching her for the past couple of weeks and now things are getting pretty strange. Good thing Sebastian shows up when he does.

Sebastian is still antsy after dealing with the death of his good friend Hendrick. But it's the fact that he can't get Cindy out of his mind that's causing him to lose it. Not being able to take it anymore, he returns to Hendrick's home to check on her. It's a good thing too, because it seems like this is just the beginning of Chastel's devious ways. Good thing he's there to protect Cindy.

Fenrir and Chastel are at it again. Only this time, the Brotherhood seems to be ready for them. Only with a slight change to the Brotherhood, they're challenged a little differently than before. It appears as though mind games aren't the only thing the crazy God is good at.

Well...it looks like this series could be coming to an end folks. I'm actually kind of sad. But this was a great 5th installment, leading up to the final chapter. I can't wait to see how the Brotherhood gets Fenrir once and for all.

*Recieved ARC from NetGalley for Honest Review*
I rate this Book 3 Stars

While reading it’s apparent you should read the books previous to this one, so you can understand who’s who and a better standing of what’s going on. I obviously did not go by that, therefore the one reading this review gets a heads up. Since I’ve been looking for a good paranormal romance, this one got my attention not only by the lovely cover but also the synopsis sounded pretty dang. Going in I was having quite a few head scratching moments, but I knew that was due to not reading the previous books. I did like the whole story like, sadly found the whole goddess thing annoying.
Couple Rating? A decent 3 1/2, smexiness was and was a little tame for my liking.
Paranormal rating? Again 3 1/2

Would I read more from this author or buy books? Less then likely.

Wolf Hunter is book 5 in the Arctic Brotherhood series. Well paced with action, danger and romance this is a great addition continuing the fabulous world and characters Jane Godman has bought us throughout. I recommend if you love a great paranormal romance be sure to add this to your read list.

Wolf Hunter by Jane Godman is the 5th book in her Arctic Brotherood series. I have enjoyed this series, as they are fun, exciting and quick reads. A brief refresher: Arctic Brotherhood is a shifter series, with an ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun.

In the last book, one of the members (Hendrik) of the Arctic Brotherhood was murdered, and the villain, Chastel has once again escaped. Six months have passed, and Sebastian Novak, our hero, is determined to find Chastel before he kills again. Sebastian goes to visit, Cindy Harper, our heroine, who was Hendrik’s friend (though everyone thought she was his lover). Sebastian has always loved Cindy, knowing somehow she was his mate, but he did not follow up in deference to his friend, Hendrik.

In a short time, Sebastian will find out the truth about Cindy, and she will tell him that she has always had feelings for him. A hot combustible romance begins that will change both of their lives forever. But first they both need to survive the onslaught of two vicious and powerful evils. When Sebastian arrives, he is just in time to help a worried Cindy, who claims someone is following her. Sebastian can also feel the evil close by, and knows that Chastel is targeting Cindy. The entire team will meet up to find a way to stop Chastel, and when an old friend comes back, the danger escalates threatening them all. Rather than say too much more, the team will fight their toughest battle, facing not one, but two very powerful enemies. It was wonderful to see our favorites back, as the entire Arctic Brotherhood team is great; including the women or men that find their mates. I really did love Sebastian and Cindy as a couple.

Wolf Hunter was an exciting adventure with nonstop action, edge of your seat suspense, and steamy sex scenes. This is an excellent series, with Godman continuing this ongoing storyline smoothly in a wonderful fantasy world steeped in Norse Mythology. If you enjoy werewolves, action packed stories, suspense, exciting, adventure and great characters, then you should be reading this series. They are quick and fun reads.
