There are so few places one can use words like "charming" and "delightful" these days - so let me use them to their fullest here. This is utterly charming and absolutely delightful, in art and story. I loved every line and every page.

This is a sweet, well-illustrated storybook that we have purchased for our library. It's adorable and appealing and would be useful in age-appropriate story times.

A cute and quirky tale with delightful illustrations about a young girl’s adventures with her pet mammoth, Woolly. They go everywhere together- grocery shopping, playing, painting, ballet, biking. If Wooly gets scared of the dark, or riding roller coasters, she comforts him, and if he gets hurt, she bandages his boo-boos, making sure to 'call’ the doctor for advice. This was a beautiful story about the power of imagination. My younger cubs quite enjoyed it.

A great book for bedtime reading!

Woolly and Me by Quentin Greban is a story that shows the power of a young child's imagination. This is a charming book that is packed full of playful imagination and lots of love. A little girl has a woolly mammoth for her best friend. She plays with him and nurtures him and includes him in everything that she does.

They ride in the car, go to the grocery store together, paint fun pictures, go biking outside, take ballet lessons, and teaches him how to use the bathroom properly. She gently comforts him when he is frightened of monsters at bedtime or gets scared on the roller coaster at the local fair. She bandages up his many boo boos when he has been hurt.

At the end of the story there is a twist. The twist will both surprise and delight the reader sparking both conversion and laughter.  The illustrations are whimsical, witty and fun. I enjoyed the book and I highly recommend it to readers of all ages.

I received an ARC from Myrick Marketing & Media, LLC and Tilbury House via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I give this book 4.5/ 5 stars.

Woolly and Me is a picturebook by Quentin Greban which is currently scheduled for release on January 2 2018. And when her mammoth gets a little frightened; on a roller coaster ride or in her dark bedroom at night, our brave narrator comforts her pet and bucks up his courage. On the last page of this warm and reassuring picture book, we see at last that Woolly is a stuffed animal leaving readers to wonder, who has been comforting whom?

Woolly and Me is a fun picturebook that shows a young girl and her Woolly on a series of adventures, both everyday challenges and special events. I like the imagination and acceptance that is a common thread through the entire book. I will admit that I was not sure if Woolly would end up as an imaginary friend or stuffed animal by the end of the book, and honestly either would have been good with me. I just loved the way the idea of comfort and bravery was covered. The illustrations were a perfect pairing to the story, and I found them to be sweet and comforting in their own way.

This book was okay. It felt a little old-timey and I really like when the pictures are a little more vibrant. I liked the part at the end where the mammoth is revealed as a stuffed animal.

This was a very simple but adorable book about the inseparable bond between a child and her stuffed animal. This was a charming story that was easy to follow but had a lot of imagination. Would be a great story time book! The illustrations were cute and it was very humorous and I think kids would really enjoy reading this.

This is an adorable book that every youngster can identify with. A tale of grand adventures with your 'stuffed animal' friend conjures up precious moments of childhood. Gorgeous illustrations bring the tale to life. A keeper!

I adore this book and I can't wait for it to hit the shelves in January so that I can go and buy myself a copy and suggest that my library get a copy too. There is something altogether precious about a child's imagination, there is nothing quite like it and can hardly be described.

From the first page I knew that I was going to love this book, a pet mammoth requires the innocence of a child's imagination that makes it feel so real that you begin to wonder whether Woolly is real or not. Woolly's expression barely changes throughout the book, not when riding in a convertible, learning to use the toilet, eating spaghetti or going to ballet class. He is ever so patient and seems to enjoy doing everything his little friend does.

The illustrations are wonderful, the colours none to jarring. These works of art are both busy yet minimal when they need to be. There are hints of familiarity with reminders of childhood spread throughout the pages, from pull along phone on wheels, band aids for everything and nothing at all, painting, and night lights on the bed stand.

It will not be until you open the first pages of this book that you will quite understand why I love it so much. The Mammoth stole my heart the minute I saw him and his little friend equally so. I highly recommend this book and hope you and your little one enjoy reading this together.

This book is cute and simple. What really makes it stand out is the laugh out loud illustrations. Whether it’s the woolly mammoth in the convertible, or being potty trained, this book will bring big smiles to the faces of those reading it.

This charming book is packed full of playful imagination and lots of love. A little girl has a woolly mammoth for her best friend. She plays with him and nurtures him and includes him in everything that she does.

They ride in the car, (a convertible of course), grocery shop together, paint fun pictures, go biking outside, take ballet lessons (both wearing a tutu), and teaches him how to use the bathroom properly. She gently comforts him when he is frightened of monsters at bedtime or gets scared on the roller coaster at the local fair. She bandages up his many boo boos when he has been hurt.

The twist at the end of the story will surprise and delight the wee reader sparking both conversion and laughter.

The illustrations are whimsical, witty and just plain fun. I so enjoyed the book and I highly, highly recommend it.

Quentin Gréban does a wonderful job of showing both the wonderful imagination of children as well as the importance of that special stuffed animal or toy to a child. This is a really sweet book about a little girl and her Woolly Mammoth appropriately named "Woolly". He does everything with her, even wears a tutu in ballet class. The illustrations are wonderful. The interaction between the little girl and Woolly show emotion and a lot of fun. I love how one minute she has to push Woolly in the shopping cart, and on the next page, he is carrying her and the groceries to the car. Of course the ending is exactly as I expected. Woolly is her special friend that everyone else thinks is just a stuffed animal. A great book for young children to see that it is okay to imagine as well as to understand that we all have that special friend. A delightful read.

There are some books that you can tell you are going to love from the moment you pick them up. Woolly and Me by Quentin Greban was one of those books for me. The absurdity of a child spending time with and going on adventures with a woolly mammoth paired with simply beautiful illustrations made for an exquisite, enjoyable read. You soul giggle, laugh and completely understand where this child is coming from. This is definitely a book I will share with family and friends.

This book was very cute. The trials and tribulations of having a pet woolly mammoth for a pet make for some funny illustrations. This is a list book, no plot, and the end was nothing new, but it was sweet with some nice art.

This is an excellent little story that shows the power of a young child's imagination - pretty images and whilst it is a simple book, it will be easy to follow and understand and can see it being a favouite for really young children who can read from it again and again - 5 stars

This is a delightful story of a young girl and her pet mammoth. Young children will smile as they watch the adventures from fairs and roller coasters to shopping and doctoring. A child and her favorite friend will not be separated. Thank goodness Woolly is such a good sport about doing the heavy lifting like carrying the grocery bags and pedaling the bike. ;-)

I kind of hoped that I knew where this one was going, and I was right... I couldn't be happier with the ending! The illustrations were wonderful and made me want to cuddle Woolly as well.
