I had a hard time liking Omar in this story. He kept going hot and cold, he would invite Marian out, have sex, then push her away when he started to feel guilty that he was betraying his dead wife. There were times that I wanted Marian to push him away but she was so attracted to him that she put up with that for a while.
I felt so bad for Marian when she kept hoping for Omar to stop her from leaving at the airport and then felt so disappointed. Omar’s grand gesture at the restaurant was so cute with the butterflies! Their reunion was great but too quick, I would have loved more!

Nice quick read, like the characters, the only complaint I have is the story ends abruptly, I love my epilogues, it doesn't have to be a big one just a quick one would do.

I want to begin by stating that The Sheikh's Unruly Lover by Leslie North is a contemporary romance novel that can be read as a stand-alone book, just as the first installment of the series is, which is a plus, in my opinion. It is also an HEA, so if you love those types of books, read on.

While I don't mind fast moving romance novels and novellas, I do not like stories that feel rushed, simply to get to the end. But sadly that is exactly what this book was.

The storyline had potential. I wanted to like it a lot, heck at times I downright enjoyed the book, but the sex happened to quick, and so did this supposed connection between the two main characters.

The tragedy that Omar was supposedly trying to get over unrealistically became no longer a burden, way too quickly, which left no room to establish real chemistry and made me think that the only thing he felt for her was lust confused with love. So they had great sex. That does not make true, and deep love.

Therefore I had a hard time with this book and did not enjoy it as much as I did - finding the first installation of the trilogy much more romantic and fluid.

I hope that the third book in the series will improve. As a hard-core Leslie North fan, I am surely looking forward to finding out.

Two years after losing his wife to cancer, Omar is more driven than ever in his family’s oil business. He opposed the merger with the US tech firm, and now that it’s done, he refuses to compromise himself for corporate Americans. When Marian gets the opportunity to help out with a business deal she is both excited, to see her best friend, and annoyed because of the man she is supposed to be assisting. When the deal is threatened Marian and her Minarack contact, Omar Almasi, will work closely to come through. The book is amazing.it's the second book of Leslie Norths that I read and I will definitely read more book. When I started reading I couldn't put it down .I read the book in one day.Keep up the magnifysent work.

This book was right in line with other books I have read from this author and I enjoyed it. The h dropping the F bomb was a problem to me as the H being from the culture portrayed should have objected to it from what I know about his culture. That was the only thing that seemed out of place to me and I will continue to read this author. I have been know to use that word but I try to be respectful of other peoples' culture. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. SQ

Wow this book was so lovely. I'm very used to her sheikh books, but I just felt like this one had a level of chemistry that I hadn't seen before. Brava! I really liked this one and I read most of her new books - I think this one stood out because of the excellent chemistry.

Marion is being sent to their Persian business partner to help negotiate a deal . Marion is supposed to keep their uncouth, insulting, and narrow-minded technical director in line. When she meets Omar, the handsome liaison, things look brighter. Omar, is intrigued by Marion, but is still mourning his wife's death. What I liked about the book were the two main characters. What I didn't like about the book was that I found Marion's language crude at times and one of the love scenes in the book I thought was unrealistic. Otherwise, it was a good light romance.

Fantasy romance between a savvy women Marian on a mission to prove her worth as more than an office assistant. When she is given an assignment to travel out of the county to be the smoothing factor in negotiations for the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who is rude and insulting to everyone Marian agrees. Traveling to Parsabad will also allow Marian to see her best friend Annabelle. Sheikh Omar is the contact in Parsabad that will assist with the proposal with National Oil. As business dealing heat up so does the attraction between Omar and Marian. North always provides a quick and enjoyable romance. "A copy of this book was provided by Relay Publication via Netgalley with not requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

I like these quick Sheikh romance novels that Leslie North, keeps coming up with.
I knew that Marion's work colleague was going to be a problem from the beginning. But the way that she handles him is so comical. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
