When Grace Phillips travels to Conwenna Cove to help her parents move there 30 years after their honeymoon in the village, she sees why they fell in love with the place.

Grace soon meets local vet Oli, and despite disliking him at first, gives him a second glance and chance.
A lovely romance set at Cowenna Cove, with two people learning to let someone in and fall in love at Christmas.

A nice light easy read to snuggle up with this Christmas.

This story contains all the ingredients you need for a cosy festive read; it's the perfect book to curl up with on a cold winter's night! With a sweet love story, a breath-taking setting, and oodles of cute animals, Christmas at Conwenna Cove really does provide everything you need to get into the festive spirit.

If you've read Summer at Conwenna Cove, you'll be pleased to notice some familiar names appearing as minor characters throughout the book. Of course, though, all the villagers and residents of Conwenna Cove are charming and lovely - it definitely makes me want to visit! Just imagine, this picturesque Cornish fishing village in the snow, with twinkling fairy lights and Christmas trees winking from every window... it truly does sound idyllic.

Although the plot is quite formulaic there are a few twists and turns hidden along the way, which help to keep the story moving. While most of the focus is on Grace and Oli, it's also interesting to see how the other characters like Oli's children and Grace's parents adapt and change throughout the course of the book.

Overall, though, Christmas at Conwenna Cove is a heartwarming story ideal for a read this Christmas!

The first in this series was a lovely, gentle read and this festive follow up set in the fictional seaside cove is more of the same but with the fun addition of the Christmas season. If you enjoyed the first Conwenna Cove, you'll be sure to enjoy this return visit.

This is a perfect, cosy, festive treat! I adore Darcie's easy writing style and the sharp witty dialogue. The setting is charming, there's just enough tension to keep you hooked and every minute spent with this book feels like a minute with your best friend.

Grace has come to Conwenna Cove to help her parents' settle into their new house. She is quite happily single and isn't looking for a relationship as she has so many family issues going on at the start of the story.

Conwenna Cove is special to Grace, it's where she grew up and her parents had their honeymoon there. Quickly, Grace begins to fall in love with the place too. The magical atmosphere with festive decorations, carols and mince pies make it a festive treat. When Grace has a chance meeting with Oli, who is anything but friendly, will it spoil her holiday or make it the best she's ever had?

This is a fantastic festive read by author Darcie Boleyn. I recommend all of her books highly and this one is definitely my favourite so far!

What a wonderful feel-good read for this time of year. Idyllic setting, likeable characters and a cute little storyline...what's not to love about it? This is my first Conwenna Cove book and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A fabulously festive 5 stars.

This was on my list for Christmas reads, but I got behind. Better late than never they say, and I am glad I got to it. I enjoyed meeting Grace and her parents as she was helping them to relocate to the beautiful Cornish village of Conwenna Cove. She is staying with them until New Year's then heading home to Cardiff Wales, at least that is the plan. Everyone keeps talking about the magic of Conwenna Cove and encouraging her to stay. She is an author, so can work anywhere. As she meets people from the village she becomes more and more enchanted. When she meets the handsome veterinarian, Oli, who is a widower with two adorable children, she considers it even more. Dealing with loss is tough and people may grieve for years. Grace has vowed never to get married or have children of her own due to her brother having Cystic Fibrosis and dying 9 years earlier. Can she get over this and open herself to possibilities? A great romance whether it is Christmas or not. The characters are lovely. They are caring, friendly and loyal to one another. The animals are a wonderful addition to the story. There is a greyhound sanctuary close by and several of the villagers own rescued greyhounds. An abandoned cat and three kittens found in the playground end up at the vet hospital and need to find homes. All this is woven into the story of this wonderful little village. There is a bit of talk about cruelty to animals, but it is done in discussions of saving them and how can humans be so cruel. This is a very clean romance that will melt your heart. I recommend this story to any romance lover. Grab a warm blanket of glass of whatever you want to drink (wine did it for me) and take a visit to Conwenna Cove.

This was a warm seasonal read which had loads of cosy Christmasy moments throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this whilst curled up on my sofa with a cup of mulled wine. I’ve never read any other books by this author so I was a newcomer to Conwenna Cove. I can see why people fall in love with it! It’s a beautiful town full of wonderful people and everyone is treated like family. There is something magical about Cornwall and this book captures it perfectly.

Grace is in Conwenna Cove to help her parents move into their new home after retiring. She doesn’t plan to stay but the charms of the town start to work their magic and she finds herself wondering what life would be like if she stayed permanently. She meets Oli, the local vet, who is dealing with a personal tragedy isn’t looking for love but finds himself drawn to the mysterious Grace.

This sweet love story will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas!

Christmas at Conwenna Cove by Darcie Boleyn.
Rating 4.2/5
A beautifully written romantic novel set in a small village in the changing climates of coastline and countryside in Cornwall. Heart warming but skilfully covering a number of issues of loss and animal welfare. Great characters: who could fail not to be be bowled over by Tom and want Simon cooking up mouth watering goodies in your kitchen.
It is the second in a series but can be read as a stand-alone novel. So settle down and cuddle up to read this lovely novel.

I love this author’s books. It was great to return to Conwenna Cove and hear another story of the residents. We also catch up briefly with some of the characters from Summer at Conwenna Cove (incidentally another great book)..
What could be better than a romance at Christmas with a sprinkling of snow.

A romance novel, like one of those made for tv Christmas movies. boy meets girl, both have family tragedies to overcome boy falls in love with girl happy ever after. An enjoyable book well worth reading.

I love reading about Cowenna Cove and this book doesn't disappoint. I like that some characters from the first book appear but not too much that you have to read the books in order, you can read this one as a stand alone. It made you feel very Christmassy and magical. I loved Amy's and Tom's relationship with Grace, they were cute. I also have a soft spot for greyhounds so glad they featured in this book too. I hope there are more books about the magic of Cowenna Cove, I do enjoy them! Thank you for letting me read and review this book, I hope there is a next one in the series, I'll definitely look out for it!

Christmas at Conwenna Cove was one of my favourite holiday books of 2017. I was completely charmed by Conwenna and its inhabitants. I loved Grace and her parents and Oli and his children. There were well-written and realistic family dynamics, and the elements of grief woven in were poignant and true to life without ever bogging down the story. This is a beautiful, emotional read, perfect if you’re looking for something heartwarming and feel good during the winter - or any time for that matter!

This was a lovely cosy story to curl up with on a cold wintery afternoon. A seasonal feel good read with interesting characters and a heartwarming storyline.

Conwenna Cove is a picture perfect chocolate box village set in Cornwall. I can picture myself here. I loved being introduced to another lovely greyhound in this story.

The author has a lovely warm writing style which is very easy to read. I found myself drawn into the story and I cared what happened to the characters. It is an almost sequel but could be read as a standalone book.

Highly recommended. I look forward to the next story.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
