The Wong Man by Kate White
Kit was on holiday in Florida when she met an attractive stranger. This encounter will take her into a nightmare situation when she arrives back home in New York. I enjoyed this thriller. It had plenty of suspense and was fast paced with a few twists and turns.
I would like to thank NetGalley and Canelo for my e-copy in exchange for an honest review.

The setting of an interior design agency was just unusual enough to be interesting. I'm not at all clued up about design myself and the book didn't spend too much time on unnecessary details, just enough to give us some perspective- and provided a handy backdrop for the hijinks that unfolded...

The book itself was a twist-filled thriller - who is Matt Healy? Who is the guy Kit hooked up with in Florida? There are a whole bunch of red herrings thrown in along the way. Although most things were tied up at the end, I felt the ending was a little bit rushed, and tied things up a bit TOO neatly. I know it's not a police procedural but I feel like the police would have wanted a bit more involvement with Kit.

All in all an entertaining thriller, and fun to read, but without anything extra special that would warrant a bump up to four stars.
