Tinker Bell is the best tinkerer in all of Pixie Hollow.

My first Manga. Took me a while to get use to the Japanese way of reading. Once I got start the story went quick and I enjoyed it. The artwork was. If you're a Disney Fan I recommend this.

Unfortunately, this book was not a good match for me, and I will decline to review. I hope plenty of other readers find it more compatible, and thank you for the opportunity to review!

Disney Manga is, as always, a huge hit in my library and I think this title in particular gets a popularity boost for focusing on Tinker Bell and not one of the manga other Disney Fairies who are less well known.

Cute story and art. Perfect for the Tinkerbell lover in your life. Would make kids quite happy to read, I'm sure.

I love that TokyoPop has chosen to bring Disney to life through manga stories.

Cute book, not really anything special. I wouldn't buy it. It wasn't a great story but the illustrations were cute.

After losing her ability to tinker when she loses her hammer Tinker Bell sets of to find her spare which she left at Peter Pan's hideout with the help of a friend.
I loved the Tinker Bell movies so when I saw this manga I was definitely in. The art style is super cute and the story/plot really works. I felt like this manga really captured Tink's personality and portrayed her emotions even better than the comics.
This is a great pick for a quick read and I definitely recommend you give it a try.
This manga is perfect for all ages
5 stars!

This was an entertaining look at Tinker Bell. I've loved her and Peter Pan since I was little. It was a blast to see a new story involving Tink. The story strays from the original Peter Pan story but it is so fitting for the world of faeries.

From what I could see, the graphics were good. The watermarking made it very hard to truly see the graphics.

I love Disney. Love love love love it. I'm a big fan of their novelizations and manga adaptations as well, so I was really happy to pick this one up. It's a pretty cute book.

The artwork isn't my favorite, but it's pretty cute.

The story is really simple and a bit lacking in my humble opinion, but I really liked the attention that was paid to the characters. You really got to know them and got a lot of information about them, and got to watch them change over the course of the story.

I think it'd be a good book for the pre-teen age, though it's certainly enjoyable beyond that. If you like Disney or Tinkerbell, or even just fairies, it may be worth checking out. Personally, I enjoyed it well enough but it's not something I'll likely re-read in the future.

I received a copy in exchange for my honest review.

This was almost not readable because of the watermarking. Grey on grey makes everything very blurry. I love manga but this was not for me...

A sweet funny story of Tinker Bell's everyday life on Never Land. We do get to see also Peter Pan, although he is just a brat who can fly. Terence was a sweet boy though!

Cute manga (that's Japanese comics, if you don't know) story about Tinker Bell (you know, from Disney's Peter Pan?) losing her tinkering hammer and her tinker talent going awry. The art style and story telling fit in with the Disney Fairies novels and children's books. Manga and comics are a great way to get reluctant readers into reading, and this would be a fun story to read for any lover of Disney, fairies, or Peter Pan! I love the romantic subplot between Tink and Terence.

Hang in there Terence! I'm rooting for you!

I reckon almost everyone can recognize the fictional character Tinker Bell because we grew up reading the story of her and Peter Pan, and their adventures in Neverland. The series Disney Manga: Fairies, that was being published by Tokyopop, narrates the story of Tink as who she really is. We always associate Tink with Peter Pan, and I like how this manga gives a fresh take about this energetic and friendly fellow of the boy who never grew up.

Through this manga, I discover that Disney has come up with a male fairy that is a best friend of Tink who is also infatuated with her. Tink as a workaholic and dedicated to her craft as a tinker was also introduced in this 1st issue of the manga series.

The only complaint I have is the unreadable text and the distorted graphics in the copy provided by the publisher. Kids 9 and below will appreciate this kind of Disney Fairies manga as it is a light-read and the story is appropriate for this age group; I just hope that the print edition is way better than the digital copy, so that kids will enjoy reading this.

3.5 stars.
Keeping true to the characters, this manga graphic novel is quite well done. The story was captivating and the images were really good. I wasnt so sure how the Disney Fairies series would go as a manga book but it works. So if your a Disney Fairies fan id definitely recommend this.

Interesting artwork, very typical of TokyoPop. Story line needs a little work. Plot is a bit shallow and it tends to drag. There is not much character development which makes it less likely that others in the series will be requested by patrons.

Absolutely adorable!

I grew up with Disney cartoons so it's no surprise I carried my love for it from childhood to adulthood. And now have passed on that love to my daughter. I enjoyed Peter Pan as a child, and I loved the Tinker Bell computer animated films, and I've always wondered how Terence and Tink's relationship could have turned out to be.

This manga was such a fun book to read. It was short and sweet, and gave me an even better glimpse at Terence and TInk's feelings for each other. I'm kind of curious about what happened prior to this manga though. While knowing why Tink and Peter fought, I still would've loved to see it sequentially happen. And I'd also love to see how Terence finally tells Tinkerbell what he truly feels. It would be really sweet to see how that part of Tink's life would turn out to be.

I've been seeing a lot of the other stories available but never tried them out, until recently. But now I'm definitely trying out the other Disney Manga next time.

A children's manga that can be enjoyed by all!
Tinkerbell's latest adventure in Pixie Hollow has a crossover with Neverland when she accidentally leaves her tinker hammer at the lost boy's hideout and Peter vanished her in a fit of anger. Tink tries to cover this up by making and ordinary hammer but it's not the same. Everyone in Pixie Hollow thinks Tink has lost her talent. Terrence wants to help her and they go on a journey to get back Tink's hammer.
This was a very well formed story for children. It was adventurous and easy to understand without being too simple.
The artist has a beautiful drawing style and make Tink and Peter Pan cuter (if that's possible) than the originals while not changing enough where you can't recognize them. I will definitely be adding this to my manga collection!

Given by NetGalley and the publisher for a fair and honest review.
