I very much liked the author's True Brothers series, so was eager to read this new series.

A year ago, Lieutenant Luc Greiner's world fell apart, when the plane carrying his beloved twin brother, Julien, and their father, the Prince of Monaco, went down over the Atlantic Ocean. He loved his life as a helicopter pilot. That was the life and future that he wanted for himself, but when the older "spare" died, Luc was forced back into the palace. Chaffing at the palace life, his older brother, Bastien, now the Prince, sends him to Los Vegas, to give a key note speech and rub hands with possible investors to the kingdom, after which he must marry a girl with the right blood lines. But when he gets to Vegas he finds his assistant has him over scheduled. So he takes his security team out to a local bar, where he sees Hannah Allen, and is drawn to her effervescence, like a moth to a flame. Hannah, is a local cosmetologist, who has had a difficult life, and now is living in the moment. He presents himself as a visitor from Monaco, in Vegas only for a week and she agrees to show him the sights. What he finds in Hannah, is the happiness his life has been missing and he doesn't want to let her go. However, they both have been withholding secrets. Can their feelings for each other, over come the obstacles? The author draws her characters with a fine tip pen; characters that the reader is rooting for to get their HEA. The plot is pretty straight forward, with a few villains thrown in.

I read an ARC from netgalley.com. It was a pleasure to read.

This quick read is a very good first entry into the HRH series. I found the main characters highly likable and enjoyed the secondary characters. There wasn't "waste" in the story, and everything seemed well plotted to move the story forward. If I have any negatives, it would only be that this couple can't seem to catch a break... Between family, duty, and an assortment of other obstacles, you wonder if they'll find their HEA.

This book is set in Las Vegas and Monaco. The point of view of the book is From Luc which is rare for a romance book usually in the female perspective or both. It's a good change, however a few french phrases were mistakengly written. If you're not French or don't know the language it won't be a problem, but for me it was a little bit strange to read some lines which didn't make sense.
This book was an insta-love romance as well as a whirlwind one. The plot was interesting and there was an element of the book which was a surprise.
If you liked Samatha Chase's trilogy of royals you may like this book (it is similar).
The relationship between Luc and Hannah is cute and some lines were funny between the two. I would recommend this book if you want to escape for a while.
Aslo, the book uses a few real references on Monaco's monarchy and if you know them you will spot them throughout the book.

I was given this book as an ARC to review it by NetGalley.

Lucien is just all sorts of hotness, “sssshh. No, there is no excuse. It is my fault that I have disappointed you so.” I was close enough that I could feel her breath puffing against my lips." Luc knows how to plan a romantic date, “mmm-hmmm. We were going to lay out the blanket. Nibble on some tasty food. And then I was going to have my wicked way with you.” I fell in love with this book and Luc the man would move Heaven and Hell if his woman asked him too.

I am a sucker for a royal romance. Everyone wants to be a princess. Saying that, this was not my favorite royal romance. I would it to drag for me. I could not really get into it that much. I skimmed most of it.

There were things I liked and disliked about this read. First, the romance between Luc and Hannah was steamy and hot, which is always a plus in my book. I liked how Luc was protective of Hannah and was willing to give up much for their love. What I didn't like was how this felt like something I've seen before. This read felt like a mix between modern history (it felt like the author just changed the names of the real monarchy in Monaco to different names in the book) and a Nicholas Sparks book. Some story lines I can read over and over because they appeal to me, but I've never been a Nicholas Sparks fan so I didn't love this read. If you do like Nicholas Sparks though, then I recommend this for you.

I'm already waiting for the second entry in the series and have given lots of thought to the characters that will be featured next.

This was a great story with a likeable Prince and a fun "Cinderella" girl. The relationship gets off to a very quick start but the two characters really worked well with each other. I thought it was interesting that the author set this royal family in real life Monaco...and the fictional royal Greiner family looks all too like the real Grimaldi royal family of Monaco...The resolution to the health scare that the heroine goes through seemed a bit forced but other than that I thought this was great read.

I was given a ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest reveiw.

This book was a little slow to grab me. I almost put it down and didn't finish. But I finally got into it and really enjoyed the Las Vegas setting having lived there for 20 years. I liked Luc from the beginning and really fell for him. But there was something about Hannah I just couldn't relate to. She finally grew on me and I enjoyed the second half of the book much more than the first. I'm guessing the next book will be Bastien finding love? I will keep an eye out for it.

This is the first in a new series by this author and I enjoyed her True series so I know her writing style but unlike that series I had a bit more trouble connecting with these characters. This story is told via Luc’s perspective throughout and I enjoyed his take on things. Hannah and Luc have a whirlwind romance and then get a few wrench’s thrown in but the angst level is relatively low and has some scorching moments between the two.
This was a complimentary advanced reader copy gifted in exchange for a honest review via the author/ publisher through Netgalley.

Cute, kind of Cinderella style story, I would have liked to have read more about Hannah's situation but that kind of happened and was abruptly resolved, the lead up got a bit monotonous. It was an ok read but not something I would reread.
