Rabbi Schneider got miraculously saved by a vision at 3:30 in the morning! God revealed Himself supernaturally, and Rabbi Schneider became obsessive about attending church, praying and witnessing. For 10 years he pushed himself to do all he could to please God by doing good works and for seeking more of God externally.
But he was not fulfilled by doing all of these things, he was spiritually starving and he hungered for more of God - I am sure that we can all relate to where Rabbi Schneider found himself!
He discovered that the only way to have peace was to remember that Rabbi Yeshua is in us and that He wants to come into a relationship of intimacy with us and reveal Himself to us. The person of the Holy Spirit wants us to realize that we have the same power that Yeshua has, even the power to raise the dead!
We also need to rely on the Bible and the Holy Spirit because they never contradict each other, we must have knowledge of the Word of God and His Spirit in order to obey and love Him and not be deceived.
Rabbi Schneider gives you four ways in which to develop a spiritual mindset, but you will need to read the book for yourself to find out what they are, they are disciplines that are doable and they will produce the closeness to Yeshua that each of us desire in our heart.
He also speaks of resting in Yeshua and how being in His presence is necessary for our souls so that we do not become stagnant, weak and ineffective spiritually.
You will need to read this book for yourself to discover how to enjoy being in God’s Presence, how to get off the hamster wheel of working to please God and earn your salvation, and how sitting at Yeshua’s feet is the only thing that is necessary.
