This book really hits home if you are newly married. This couple faces what all couples do, but then move away from home right after the honeymoon. Can they endure the challenges of a new marriage being so young ? Luckily they have a strong faith and a good support team.

When I initially started on the book, I thought of how immature Mary Reynolds was, and that perhaps her getting married was more of a novelty. It takes a look almost of they many teens who do get married after high school and their insecurity with marriage and of the do's and don'ts that one must manage. She definitely had plenty of don'ts!

As for her new husband, Rick, he's a bit nervous for everything that he is about to do. A new wife and suddenly thrust into a whole new world of responsibilities that he wasn't really ready for. In fact, who is? There so much and when you add so many new stresses in your life such as a new job, going to school and keeping sanity in your marriage it's troubling.

So I found it interesting in how there was the dialogue, the conversations within each individual in how they should approach the situation. The hesitations, the confidence.

At first I thought the book was geared more towards the high school age, until I read further and decided that wasn't such a good idea. :)

All in all, it was an interesting book.

This is a wonderful love story - one for now a days - you have two teenagers who feel so in love they get married - they're in love and he is going on to medical school - which means a whole lot of changes for her. How will this work out for her? How will it work for them? They are in love and they are in love with GOD and that is the most important thing. What way will he guide them to go - -to or away from each other?
