A book in the Wulfkin Legacy series a well written Halloween story that kept me turning pages. You really do get surprises when you shop on your own bookshelves. This is Kalin Asen who wants to be the best fortune-teller at the infamous Bran Castle in Transylvania this Halloween and sexy Russian wulfkin Axe 's story of suspense, drama, danger, witchcraft, intrigue, bad intentions, and romance. I wish these would come out in eBook I would buy the set.

Full of suspense and sexiness. I loved the mix of action and romance. The tension between the characters was explosive and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

This is the sixth book in the Wulfkin series and while I do think they are best if read in order it could be read as a standalone.I really liked Axe and Kalin together they had tons of chemistry these two were just so great together, when Kalin takes a job as a fortuneteller at a castle in Transylvania to earn some money for her pack while there she smells other wolves from a different pack one of them happens to be Axe and he is her mate. What will he do when he realizes his soulmate is part of the pack he's about to go to war with.If you enjoy a good shifter read like I do you should give this series a go.

Being that TF Walsh is still newish to me I have not read previous books in this series; but this did not change the way I feel about this story and I was not disappointed. This is a very enjoyable read full of danger, magic, passion and so much more. Even though this is a short story, it is written very well with just enough background information on the characters to make the story so enjoyable. I liked the heroine’s bravery and strength, she really shows even though she is so small you can make a great impact. But you’ll have to read to know what happens.

I haven’t really read any other books in this world, so this was my first introduction to all of these characters. That being said, this novella was a good intro to the magical world of witches and shifters.

Kalin, a member of the local shifter pack, is doing her duty, trying to earn some money to support the pack by playing fortune teller at a local party. Seems innocent enough, but the party ends up going horribly wrong. Axe, a double-agent of sorts in the Russian pack, ends up at the party with a witch to follow his alpha’s plan. He’s supposed to have the witch lower everyone’s inhibitions and get the owner to sell his land to them. This would give them the foothold they need to start taking over Kalin’s pack’s territory.

Axe, of course, is straddling a very dangerous line. He wants to not allow his alpha’s reign to continue, but also wants to show loyalty enough to continue gathering information. His life gets a lot more complicated when his wolf recognizes his mate in the form of a rival clan wolf, Kalin.

These two had some very sexy times even before realizing they are fated mates. The romance may have been a little rushed, but what can you expect from a magically drunk party? There’s action, mystery, and even some death thrown in to keep the plot going. While we don’t get a very complex story, you get a really great introduction to this world. I’d like to see more.

Kalin was a wolf shifter. Kalin’s best friend was Alena who was mated to the pack's Alpha.- Enre. Alena and Enre had twins - Lupita and Seff. Alen told Kalin a witch had put a curse on her family and twins had joint souls and if one twin died so would the other. At the age of twelve Kalin’s sister had been killed by a wolf attack Alena’s father had found Kalin wondering in the woods and taken her into his pack. Kalin would do anything for Alena. Lenita was Kalin’s roommate and unlike most wolves who lived and slept all together they had their own place. Lenita and Kalin had their first human job as hired fortune tellers at a human party. It was a gimmick for Lenita . But Kalin felt the cards told the truth. Kalin could also see some of people’s past or future when she touched the cards but it didn’t work on everyone or even all the time. Wulfkin had to live in secret for the survival reason. The pack needed money for their growing members so Lenita and Kalin were doing their part. Axe belonged to a Russian pack whose bloodthirsty power hungry Alpha planned on taking over Europe starting with Romania. First thing was to get ownership of Bran’s Castle and then fight the Romanian pack then take over Transylvania then Europe. But the owner of the castle was human and a private man and nearly impossible to track down. But then the Russian Alpha discovered the man was having a birthday party and was making an appearance hand he got some of his people -Axe, Titas, Leo, and the witch Natalya. The castle wasn’t actually for sale so the pack members may have to use some magic to get the owner to sign over the castle. The Russian Alpha treated his own pack no better than enemies. If Axe and his team didn’t succeed in this mission they would be killed. Axe was over the Russian Army and he was determined to become his Alpha’s second. Kalin seelt a foreign wolfkin and then Axe was there in front of her. She was affected by Axe like she had never been to any other male before. Axe kissed Kalin and they both desperately wanted each other. Axe lead Kalin to a room they had sex there. But then Lenuta knocked at the door and came in knowing Kalin and Axe had sex.
I enjoyed this book. I liked the plot. I felt the book went to fast to enjoy it as much as I would have if it were longer. It could have been a five. Yet I did still enjoy it quite a bit. I loved Axe and Kalin together. Even though they were from different packs they were soul mates. I loved that Kalin’s Alpha did finally listen to her then Axe and not just kill Axe. This was a short read and the only problem I really had as I said was the length. Otherwise as far as I'm concerned this would have been a perfect book. I liked the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend,

Cloaked In Sorcery is the sixth book in the Wulfkin series and while I hadn’t read the previous books I still enjoyed this one. I think if I had read the previous books, I may have enjoyed it more just to get more of a history of the pack and some of the other characters. That being said I was quickly drawn into this story and wanted more to be honest. It is fast paced, sexy and when it ended, I almost screamed and cried that this was it? I wanted to know what happens next but sadly it left me feeling almost shirted because there is no mention if the next book with continue Axe and Kalin’s story or if it will be a new couple.

I liked Axe and Kalin together, their chemistry was hot and I wouldn’t mind being on the end of Axe’s focus. I liked the idea of wolf soul mates; it was a different way of saying true mates like so many other books do. I am curious to see what happened prior to this book and plan to go back and read the previous books as well as reading the next book when it is released. Overall Cloaked In Sorcery was an enjoyable read I just wish I had more closure or even an idea on what might happen next.

The story starts off hot and heavy and leaves you begging for more. Two women from a pack of Wulfkin (wolf shifters) in Romania go to entertain and tell fortunes at a party. But some uninvited guests from Russia are about to ruin a party and start a war. Soul mates feel a connection immediately. But when they are enemies sides must be decided and love may not always win. This story has fighting and some steamy scenes. I just can’t wait for the next book to see what is to happen next.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

It was nice to not read your typical paranormal romance. Ms. Walsh puts a nice spin on paranormal. Kalin Asen is a fortuneteller by trade and also wolf shifter. She and her partner are commissioned to tell fortunes at an event being held in a castle in Transylvania on Halloween. Her and her partner wear sexy ballgowns as costumes to the gig and all of a sudden Kalin get a big wiff of another Wulfkin on or near the premises. There are three other Wulfkins and one witch in the castle and they want to start a war with the Romanian Wulfkins.

Axe Vux just wanted to complete his mission as the general for the Russian army of Wulfkins. What he didn’t expect to find his soulmate in a fortune teller Romanians Wulfkin, the very ones that they were going to war with. But he just doesn’t trust his feelings for her because the witch put a hex on everyone to lower their inhibitions. When the Wulfkin lose control of their inner wolves and things turned deadly will Axe and Kalin be able to protect the humans? Are they really soulmates, or is it just the witch’s hex?

A big thank you to NetGalley and Crimson for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is #6 in a series and I took a chance as I have not read any of the previous books. It is a little confusing but reads fairly well as a stand alone. There were definitely things I didn't understand due to lack if knowledge. This was a short easy read about 100 pages. It was okay for me. I didn't fall in love with the characters or anything.

I liked this. It really made me think about looking at the other installments in this series because of a few characters introduced in the beginning. I liked the thought of a festival in a large castle, and Kalin was pretty fun to hang around. She definitely fits the responsible friend XD Axe came off pretty serious as well, and I liked seeing them both act lustfully silly until things got scary. The ending felt a little abrupt but I still overall enjoyed myself at the castle.

Kalin Asen and her best friend, both Wolfkin from the Romanian pack ,are off to Dracula's castle tonight to work as fortune tellers at a party. It should be an exciting night.
Russian Wolfkin Axe Vuk along with two other Wolfkin and a witch are also going to the party. Unfortunately they have bad intentions. The spell the witch will cast causes many more problems for everyone than she could have guessed.
This is a sexy and exciting story from a series that is better read in order. While not exactly a cliffhanger, the tale is not complete. So you will be looking for the next one.
Very enjoyable.

Kalin Asen wants to be the best fortune-teller at the infamous Bran Castle in Transylvania this Halloween. It should be a no-brainer…until she crosses paths with a sexy Russian wulfkin who just might be her soul mate. As the commander of the Russian wulfkin army, Axe Vuk takes seriously his assignment to get Bran Castle’s ownership signed over to his alpha.........Then he meets Kalin, and it’s impossible to tell if his growing attraction is a result of the spell or whether she is truly his mate.

I enjoyed this read. It was short with action, suspense, and some steamy scenes. Kalin and her pack mate are invited to an exclusive ball to tell people fortune. While there she scents other wulfkin and tracts the smell to Axe. There is an instant chemistry and connection between the two. Axe cannot tell if its the spell the party is under or if Kalin is his mate. Unfortunately things take a turn and the two end up fighting wulfkin and humans to stay alive.

While I enjoyed the book there were certain aspects that made this a 4.5 star read. There was a turn of events at the party, but it doesn't show who the culprit is. After the initial chaos they are not mentioned again. Also the story somewhat just ends. Its clear there will be a continuation, but I am not sure I felt the cliffhanger. Maybe each book will somehow be considered a stand a lone or a each book will feature a different couple, with the main story as the background. This is my first book by the author so I will need to do a little more research to see if this is a part of a series.

Yes I would recommend this book

This book is part of the Cloaked series. Kalin is a wulfkin, and she’s been hired to work at a Halloween party. There she runs into Axe, another wulfkin, who has sinister motives for being at the party, but neither one can deny their attraction. When his friends are forced into the change and start attacking humans at the party, Kalin and Axe must work together to save the humans. Will they succeed before becoming victims themselves? I have read other books by Ms. Walsh, but I think this one is my favorite. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kalin and Axe, and I really enjoyed the secondary characters, too. I found the plot interesting, as well, and when the book ended, I really want to find out what’s going to happen next, a mark of a good book. For full disclosure, I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, but I didn’t have any problems at all following along with what was going on in the book. If you like paranormal romance, you really have to try this author! Highly recommend! Thanks to NetGalley, Crimson Romance, and the author for the e-copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

My Rating: 4.5 Stars
The cards don’t lie, but Kalin didn’t pay too much attention to the death card that fell from the pack as she prepared for one of the premier events of the year in Transylvania. Kalin was hired to be the fortune teller at Bran Castle’s Halloween party, but even she couldn’t foresee what would happen that night when humans and wulfkin got together.

The Russian wulfkin alpha wants Bran Castle and his undercover team is about to unleash a powerful hex that lowers inhibitions in hopes of gaining the owner’s signature on the title. What the commander didn’t know was that his soul mate would be found amid the chaos, terrified humans and morphing wulfkins. What if their attraction is part of the witch’s hex? As Axe struggles to hang on to his change, his heart and gain the castle, His soul fights to keep his mate safe.

T.F. Walsh brings two souls together at the most inconvenient time, when their rival pack tensions are at their highest. Has she discovered the secret to wulfkin world peace or given us one more fabulous reason to be hooked on her sensual writing and excellent world and character building? CLOAKED IN SORCERY is a fun read with a dash of spice and a pinch of magic that is over far too soon.

I love the Cloaked series, each story fits so nicely with the ones previously done. This one is about Kalin and Axe and has plenty of action, suspense and sexiness intertwined in the pages.. The cloaked series always has a wonderful mix of action and romance to keep you coming back for each new book.

When I requested this book I didn't realize that it was part of a series. I haven't read any of the previous books and perhaps, that is why I didn't care for this novella. I felt like I was dropped into the middle of a story, and then just as quickly pulled back out. For me the characters were flat and the story was kind of silly. Just not a winner for me.

Kallin and Axe are thrown together at a birthday deep in the country of Romania. Both are were wolfs, and are mates. This had the potential to be a good story, but it is very short. This novella feels like it is a section out of a bigger story, and jumps in partway through and ends with a cliff hanger. I like the couple, but had many questions and feelings of incomplete after through reading. Potential is there, but should be worked into a larger story. Would recommend because of the characters, but know that it is a very quick read.
