Book Four in the Birds of a Feather series was another good read. After finding out this was a part of a series, I had to read the other books before this so that I could follow all the other characters involved. I must say this is a brilliant Paranormal, Sci Fi series. Bird is Snow's best friend as in the other books, the main characters have birds of their own and strangely enough they are just called Bird. They interact with their owners and help keep them safe.

Snow is convinced to join with the band of protectors and travels to the Islands to spy on Jamie and find out what he is up to. She gets herself into some situations which put her in danger but with Nick looking out for her and her Bird, she is able to help solve some of the mysterious happenings going on. Snow has had a very hard past, especially with the loss of her parents and she finds it very hard to trust and rely on this group of people she has found herself a part of, but with the love and care of Nick and the others she finds she can finally find some peace and can get on with her life.

I just love this saga so much and want to know what happens to the characters!!!
In this one I got to know mysterious Snow in her thrill-seeking adventures along with her friend Nick. -gorgeous, by the way-. She has a dark past, as does he, and with a thirst for revenge they work together with the gang I've grown to care for so much. So win-win.

I'm dying to know what happens next! I'm thinking the next one is going to be about the big teddy bear...

I gave this book 3 stars. It was okay, a definite downgrade from the first three books in this series. I’m disappointed in this one.

I was so sad by this development, I loved the first three books, but I just felt like this book didn’t have as much substance as the others. It was enjoyable, but that’s mostly because I was already accustomed to the characters and the world and the basic plot of the series.

I can’t even really tell you what the climax of the story was. I can think of one part that may have been it, but at the time I didn’t know it and was actually surprised that I was done the book because I expected more.

Not to say it isn’t still good, just not on the level as the other books. I am excited to read the final book in this series though. If you have read the other books in this series, then you should definitely still read this one. It’s still part of the story and I can’t wait for it to all be pulled together in the final book.

The romance in this book was cute, but a good romance isn't enough to make a book mind blowing and amazing, it can help it there, but it isn't the only factor.
