Another great devotional for one's daily walk with God. Yet, it is also good for those who may have strayed. Devotionals are of the size that if yiou do not have a lot of time but still want the benefit of a devotional, this is a good book for you. The devotions are very good and thought provoking. I found them staying with me throughout the day. Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

I generally struggle with devotional books. They always seem to be lacking probably because I’m expecting more out of them. The nice thing about this devotional is the author sets the expectation in the title: 3 Minute Prayers for Women.

In the 3 minutes (or less) it takes to read these devotions you get a scripture and a prayer that is relatable and easy to personalize. I think my favorite part of the devotion is the “Think About It” section. The author post a simple question that relates back to the scripture and prayer. The questions tend to hit home to important aspects of one’s faith.

Definitely would buy this for a friend.

Thank you to the publisher and author for the advanced copy!

I am currently experiencing a stressful period in my life and have not been very religious throughout my life. This book caught my eye because I was looking for some way to find some inner peace that is not time consuming or preachy. After completing several of these prayers, I am feeling more at peace and hopeful. I recommend this book to anyone that is experiencing similar feelings on faith.

This book serves as a great tool for the busy Christian women of today, but I find it useful for those of us that have strayed away from our daily devotion and prayer and get us slowly back into the realm. Even for a new devotee, this is a perfect book as it is not too overwhelming.
The book is set up to provide the user with 3 minutes of quiet time away from all the busy schedules and distractions to be one with ourselves and the Heavenly Father. The 3 minute prayer is set up as follows:
First minute: Read and reflect on God’s Word, bible verse is provided
Second minute: Pray to jumpstart your conversation with God, prayer is provided
Third minute: Question is provided for further thought.
The writer is showing us that we can make 3 minute of our time to do some selfcare, besides taking care of our hair and makeup, and stay connected to God.
I find the themes of the prayers very appropriate for these modern times, such as calming of our restless minds, dealing issues such as temptations, jealousy , and feeling contentment, worries, unpredictability and finding our life purpose and friendship and relationships among others.
The reflective questions is something we can take with us through our day, to continue your conversation with God.
The book looks to be very nicely package and will also make a great jewel for our nightstand or on a table in your sacred space/corner if you have one. I will definitely make use of this beautiful prayer book.

Thank you to the publisher, Barbour Publishing Inc, and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I am a huge lover of devotionals for women. I just love reading a devotional before Bible studies to prepare my mind. I found this book useful when I wanted to verse map a scripture. Great read. Very encouraging and uplifting.

I felt as though this book was a great companion for the busy lives many Christian women find themselves in these days. We so often find it difficult to take time out of our day to read the Word of God, and then to really pray on it. Linda Hang set up a three minute session for those looking to fit more time in:
1 Minute of reading
1 Minute of prayer
1 Minute of reflection

She does state in the forward that this book is not a replacement for further conversations with God, or further understanding of the BIBLE. It is simply meant to offer a guide in the beginning.

Reading the book also made me reflect on how often I forget that we are to read the BIBLE each day, even if it's only a small verse. It helped guide me there as well.

This book is a beautiful reminder to sit, pray and reflect on Jesus daily and making Him the priority of our day. While many of us using the excuse we are too busy, this book helps us take time out...if only for three minutes a day to seek God through a bible verse, a prayer and reflecting on words such as "What might discipleship cost you?" or "Do you see God as deserving your entire being?".

What I like about this book is that it gets you started for the day, your prayers don't have to stop and the words and questions for reflection stay with you throughout the course of the day. No matter what the busyness of the day may hold you have been able to start the day with God and taking him throughout the remainder of the day.

I like that the book isn't necessarily gentle with the reader, that it asks you about the cost of following Jesus because He so willingly gave his life for us that it is good that we pray, reflect and act upon giving him our all. I appreciate that everything is linked to Bible verses, this is the deal breaker for me because that is what we are called to follow.

My only disappointment with the book is that it is all flowery. I am unlikely to pick this up off the shelf and buy it, I would prefer something cleaner, more modern, with patterns but not floral.

I recommend this book.

I've been searching for a devotional that could help me start my day since I'm unable to do my full devotions like I used to before getting my second job. Each of these devotions are short and sweet and help me look forward to getting up in the morning to commune with God.

I personally use this as a quick devotions in the morning then revisit the subject more thoroughly after I leave work in the afternoon. Despite being only for three minutes, it helps inspire you to go deeper into the word throughout the day, during your break, or whenever you can set aside time to go deeper into the verse and devotion matter.
