Note: I didn't read the first book. That said, this was adorable! It is a really quick, fluff book filled with great quips and banter between the characters.

This is such a strange concept; the contracts. Being married to a family law attorney, I find these stories scarily accurate and entertaining.

As with the first book, 'I Love You* Subject to the Following Terms and Conditions', I am still in awe of the creative mind of Ms Lyon. The premise of Contract Marriages is brilliant with plenty of fodder for unlimited stories of Kate and her uncanny ability to bring hilarity and chaos into her life.

Every bit as engaging as the first book, the dialog, banter, and wit are unparalleled in their entertainment value. It's terribly easy to loose yourself in Kate's world with its cast of intriguing and oftentimes quirky characters. I can honestly say that once I started the story, I didn't put it down until done...oh, unless I was laughing so hard I had to take a break! There are several heartbreaking moments as well which give you pause as to the range of emotions that this author is capable of creating for the reader in one story.

One can only hope that there will be further stories involving Kate and her unparalleled and hilarious view of signing law and the role she plays in the revolving door of characters who will continue to weave through themselves through her life.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
