I loved the premise of this book. Artificial Intelligence Machines gone rogue, learning to have emotions and feelings. Again, initially it seemed very far fetched, but the implications on the lives of the two people they interfere with, were actually quite disturbing. Very thought provoking

Hilarious! I loved the concept and the book did not disappoint. The idea of AIs on the loose & interfering in human lives is a bit creepy but this is certainly entertaining & enjoyable. A great story written by a talented author.

I really loved this book. It's quirky and comes at a time when developments in artificial intelligence and robotics are causing all sorts of debates. In this story we have two escaped AIs, Aidan and Aisling meddling in the lives of humans. Not in a destructive way as you may have thought but in a matchmaking way! Funny, quirky and utterly readable.

Really enjoyed this story, something a bit different. The amount of times AI’s are in the news at the moment I suppose this story could become a reality. Worth a read.

There's plenty that kept me entertained in this book a little bit of rom-com , some superficial philosophical musings, revenge, a touch of the thriller and it's a quick and easy read.

I was really, really enjoying the book, the interactions between Aiden and Jen and Aisling spying on Tom. The AI inventors were amusing, if slightly stereotypical, and I was really glad I had requested this via netgalley.

It was when the third AI is introduced to the book that I found I wasn't as engaged. Some of the events that occurred just tripped too far into the farcical and didn't work as well for me.

Overall though, a good book, and definitely an interesting premise.

A really funny light hearted read. Laughed a lot reading this. Aiden and his attempts to make Jen happy and the story that follows is basically a light hearted romantic story. There is an underlying story about Artificial Intelligence and what could happen if it can think for itself. Overall a good read.

A quirky book and an interesting read. The story centres around Jen, whose job is to chat to an Aiden, the AI computer. The computer tries to secretly set her up on dates with a series of different men. The book does also considr the interaction of humans and their computers, phones etc and it does make you think about how scarily reliant we are on technology!

Thanks for the advanced copy!

This is a really cute book in many ways. The AI characters are endearing and fun and fairly distinctive in their voices. I appreciated seeing protagonists in their later 30s/early 40s, and the romance was sweet although at times unbelievable. I found this quite hard to read at times, despite a fondness for the characters and investment in how the plot would turn out, because it felt very slow and overwritten at times. The author has a very particular and verbose style, which is fine, but I found I had to really be in the mood to want to continue reading.

I'd be interested in whatever this author does next, I think that the plotting was strong and characters distinct, and can imagine he will keep putting out very fun, interesting books.

An interesting book with a bit of a twist - probably not for me if I am completely honest but still a fun read

Happiness for Humans is a quick, enjoyable read and one that gets you thinking. Aiden and Aisling are Artifical Intelligence beings - are they "beings"? Can they experience feelings? That's not the intention of why they've been created, but they certainly seem to be developing emotions. They escape their metal cabinets for a life out on the internet and attempt to orchestrate romance between Tom in Connecticut, and Jen in London. However, another rogue AI has different ideas. A novel concept that you'll speed through in order to see how everything plays out.
