I love a good second chance romance, and Spencer and Hailey's story is great. Delinda Westerly is as ornery and manipulative as Alessandro Andrade, but she seems to have pushed most of her family away. I thought her plan to get these two back together was a fun story to read. She can be harsh, but you can also see her vulnerabilities. Hailey and Skye have been through a lot, and I loved seeing them flourish in Delinda's care. It drove me crazy how Spencer could hold his grudge against everyone and be such a jerk, but I could also understand his pain. When he was around Hailey though, he lightened up and was so much better. I really enjoyed their slow progress from reuniting to friendship to more. This is a crazy, messed up family, but I love the way they are trying to get through it all together.

Spencer and Hailey's story is awesome. The second book in the Westerly Billionaire series. A well-written story of a sweet second chance. Spencer and Hailey were high school sweethearts who broke apart from immaturity. Years later they are reconnected by Spencer's meddling grandmother. While Spencer thought he had something to prove to his family he spent his life to become a self-made billionaire. Hailey was mourning the loss of her family and as such, she has custody of her niece, Sky.

Up for Heir is the second book in Ruth Cardello's Westerly Series. Spencer Westerly has recently found out a family secret that has affective greatly. Hailey is Spencer's grandmother new higher and someone she hopes to help Spencer since he found out the family secret.

Ruth Cardello does a great job with Spencer's character. You could feel his pain and angry. When Hailey came back into life you feel he wants more. He want to take care of her but he doesn't know how to handle it. I love that Ruth Cardello also made Hailey the strong character she was. Hailey has had the easiest of life but her love for her family and strength has gotten her through. She make for a great match for Spencer if he can see it. Both have a love for their family each at times feeling like they failed them. Between the support of each other and support the family I loved this book. Spencer grandmother Delinda help to make this story. Delinda is a character all her own! It possible most would not like Delinda but I loved her.

I love this book! Another great book by Ruth Cardello! This a five star read!

This a wonderfully written story of a second chance romance between two college sweethearts. I loved reading about Spencer and Hailey, the only woman he has ever really loved. Can these to get past their broken hearts and hurts from the past to help them move forward to the future. With the help of a interfering Grandmother and adorable niece, they just might make it.

Ok I truly do enjoy this series and I will read every last one of them . Spencer & Hailey where madly in love in collage and when she left Spencer though it was for another man ( turns out it was her brother ) Now years later Spencer is a womanizer in his one words for he cant get past the loss of Hailey . Hailey is a mom now to her niece and is very lost as to what to do for her ( she stopped talking ) Skye ( said niece ) forms a special friednship with Spencer grandmother after she gives Hailey a job ( to try get her back with Spencer ) there is a lot of crazy things going on in the book to the road back together for these two ...so come along for the ride as a meddling grandma works her own brand of matchmaker it is a fun ride even if sometimes you want to smack some heads lol

Spencer world was turned upside down by his Grandmother when she discovers a secret that she thought was already known. Spencer was not a Westerly by blood.

Westerly family has plenty drama. Spencer grew up knowing only Westerly as his family except it wasn’t true. When he finds out his real father was his step father. Ever since he was miserable and avoid all his family including his mother and his sibling. Now he is tech billionaire with his life plastered on trash magazines. Grandmother knew Spencer wasn’t happy so she decided to meddle with his love life.
Hailey lost all his family except her niece Skye. Ever since his brother’s tragic accident she is responsible for her niece. due to tragedy Skye didn’t speak to anyone. When she was let go from her job, she was down in all the luck but when she finds a job being a PA for wealthy women who would provide housing, she decided to move.
Delinda made sure Hailey is settled in and made sure she reconnects with her grandson Spencer. Delinda was meddling with her grandson but also meddling with Hailey especially with Skye. She is force to be reckon with. She may seem brash but she is kind and generous to Skye and has soft spot for her grand kids.
Now Hailey faces Spencer after all these years. Spencer feels same way as Hailey does but she doesn’t want to rush and she needed to think Skye.
They have another chance at getting to know again and start again.. But will it go smoothly as before or is it too late for both..

I loved relationship between most of the characters and especially between Skye and Delinda. More family dynamic is revealed. I can’t wait to read the next one..

I am voluntarily reviewing this arc.

This is one of those books that I have to review as I go because it’s so good and I want to capture the moment as I experience it. I am moved to tears right now as I witness a child that has been through terrible trauma, have a major breakthrough due to the most unlikely character. The plot is complex and simple all at the same time. Lost love, lost family and the inheritance of a child when she is very young herself. Then, Mrs. Westerly steps in to hire Hailey as her companion while simultaneously helping her to care for her inherited niece. All the while she is playing match maker, trying to put back together Hailey and her grandson, Haileys first love. Confused? Read the book, you won’t be, and you’ll love it! This is so well written and sweet.
It was with an extremely satisfied sigh that I finished this book. Up for Heir was sweet, funny, romantic, steamy, full of loyalty and second chances. I loved everything about this book!!!! And yes, that is a lot of exclamation points !

A story of second chances using memories, consideration, love, and forgiveness
Spencer has a tumultuous relationship with his grandmother Delinda. She erroneously revealed a truth in book 1 that drives Spencer further from the Westerly family. Time however is not on Delinda's side. Delinda meddles and manipulates to bring Spencer back in the fold by using young first love. Hailey has lived a life of love and loss and is now guardian to a niece who is withdrawn and non verbal. Gone are the days of a carefree past.

This is the second book in the Westerly Billionaire Series ,I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying the first book in the series after reading this one. A second chance love story of Spencer & Hailey were madly in love while they were in college when she left him and now years later he was emotionally wreck , angry and confused. Where as Hailey is dealing with her own issues. Overall a well rounded and well developed characters and plot with few twist and family drama in the story. A good read.

Hailey Triverton and Spencer Westerly fell in love in college. Hailey lost all focus after the death of her father, and found that she needed Spencer to be there for her in ways he did not understand. When they break up, Spencer sees Hailey being comforted by another man, misinterpreting the situation as she broke his heart for another man.

Over time, Spencer has family situations and determines, he is better alone with no family. Unbeknownst to him, his grandmother, Delinda (whom he basically disowned), decided that Hailey was his one true love and she needed to be brought back in his life. I really enjoyed Delinda's personality and her manipulations.

Hailey, spent the past year in a tenuous position, finally losing her job due to the amount of time she had to take off. She was suddenly raising her niece Skye, when her brother and sister-in-law were killed. Skye was going through the tragedy and stopped speaking entirely forcing Hailey to find home tutors, and others in an attempt to keep up Skye's schooling. Skye was now Hailey's number one priority.

With Delinda's manipulations, Hailey begins to work for her and Skye starts to blossom (as does Delinda). Hailey is sent on a few errands which bring her to Spencer. From there, their relationship grows. It takes both Spencer and Delinda patching up their relationship to allow Spencer to be with Hailey and Skye. This was a HEA that will bring happiness to everyone involved.

Spencer and Hailey, what a fun flipping read by Ruth Cardello!

These two were college sweethearts, but were ripped apart by a tragedy in Haileys life.

Later, Hailey finds herself in need of a job and a home, and unknowingly accepts a job working for Spencer’s Grandmother.

Reading about these two and their tumultuous past, and coming together for their inevitable HEA was a joy to read! I couldn’t put this one down!

Cannot wait to read the next book and see what Westerly gets their HEA as well!

This is another fantastic read by Ruth.This is the second book in the series and while it can be read as a standalone it is best to read them in order.This is Spencer and Hailey's book these two were college sweethearts and each other's firsts but things went wrong and due to being young and immature their relationship ended.Now years later Spencers Grandmother is determined to get them back together.This was a super second chance romance with a fantastic plotline you don't want to miss this series I really really liked it.

The Westerlys sure are heating up the pages with their love and romance as they try to find their place as well as their future partners. I’ve always loved reading series featuring siblings, matchmaking elders, and families going through rough times despite being billionaires just showing that they are human as well.

The new series by Ruth Cardello, “The Westerly Billionaires” is exactly that and book two of the Westerly Heirs, “Up For Heir”, is just as enticing and charming. Self made billionaire and with lots of family secrets, Spencer Westerly is caught up in his work more, than playing to the fall-outs within his family. But then his grandmother is not one to give up, and with some help and manipulation comes Hailey Tiverton, the one and only woman Spencer had ever loved.

This is the second book in the Westerly Billionaire’s but it can be read as a standalone, I can say this because I haven’t read book one in this series although I have read earlier books by Ruth Cardello so it was good to catch up with a few characters from past books. This is a second chance at love for Spencer Westerly and Hailey Tiverton, they were soul mates from college but the timing wasn’t right but will it be right now.. I loved this emotional story, I loved the characters and I loved the plot so much so I’m going back to read book one. Great read

This is a great book; this is the second book in the Westerly Billionaire Series written by Ruth Cardello. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read it you will defiantly want to go back and catch up with the other book in this series. Spencer Westerly is his own man. He didn’t need his father’s money to build his wildly successful tech company and he doesn’t want to deal with the fallout from old family secrets. But as much as Spencer wants to avoid Westerly drama, his grandmother, the family matriarch is determined to pull him back into the fold. And she’s discovered the perfect lure: his college sweetheart, Hailey. Although she broke his heart, Hailey is still the only woman he’s ever loved. Now that she’s back and looking as desirable as ever, Spencer is determined to get a second chance. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

Hailey was given full custody of Skye as Ryan had left Hailey to raise Skye on the event of his death. Hailey was still desperately trying to reach Skye. Hailey had lost her job because she had used all her vacation and sick days to be with Skye. Hailey had been in a panic when she seen her current job advertised in the newspaper. Hailer was now the personal assistant to an elderly lady who lived in a mansion by the ocean. Lodging was included as well as a good paycheck and more important medical insurance. It was hardly a dream job but it did pay good and gave Hailey security. The woman shared the same last name as the man who wasn’t there for her when she needed him so bad back in college after her father had died.But they broke up mainly due to immaturity and poor communication. Hailey had felt college wasn’t for her any more and quit and then left Spencer as all he really seemed to care about was work and that was all he had time for also. Spencer had needed odd jobs to get enough money for used equipment for his garage computer lab. Now Spencer was a millionaire and owned his own company. Delinda was Hailey’s employer but little did Hailey know she was Spencer’s grandmother and planned on using Hailey to get Spencer back in the family fold. When hailey lost Spencer she did however learn she didn’t need Spencer to survive and that made her stronger. Hailey had left college and went home to her brother Ryan. raising a traumatized Skye didn’t come with instructions. Skye had refused to go to school after her parents death and when forced to she reacted with such deep despair experts were brought in . Skye had completely shut down- refusing to speak . No one expected it to last but it had. With a recommendation from the school and her therapist Skye was to be homeschooled by a certified teacher. Months later Skye was still withdrawn. She refused to see her old friends or to speak. Skey’s teacher - Mrs Tilbury said Skye was working above grade level as long as all assignments were done in writing. All Skye seemed to enjoy was reading and only the books from Skye’s old house. Skye had been a free spirited boisterous child but not anymore. Spencer is miserable as well as lonely After finding out he had been lied to all his life by his family about who his real biological father was. Spencer had cut himself off from his family. Spencer works hard in the daylight hours and drinks and runs with fast women at night. Delinda asks hailey to pick up a package for her downtown and Hailey runs into Spencer. Hailey had been Spencer's one true love and Hailey had never really gotten over Spencer. Zthr chemistry and feelings are still there for both Spencer and Hailey.
I enjoyed this book. I liked the plot as well as the pace a lot. I liked how Spencer grew in this book. This was a quick, enjoyable second romance.book. There was a lot of family drama. I liked the different POVs shown also. I loved the relationship that formed between Skye and Delinda. I advise you to read the first book in this series as it will pull everything together for you. I loved how close Ryan and Hailey had been. I also felt this was well written. I liked Spencer and Hailey together and I liked that Spencer stopped being such a jerk. I liked the characters and the ins and outs and I recommend.

Two books in, and I am totally in love with this family. I love it when grandparents play matchmakers in books and this one was one of the best! Skye stole the scenes much of the times, as did Michael. Hailey and Spencer needed their second-chance and I can't wait to see who's next!
