I used to hunt down Christine Warren Other Books at Goodwill Whenever I could, because I love her storytelling and her Heat level rocks too! This new series starter does not disappoint.

I loved watching Renny and Mick dance about their mating call and see it pull them under. I love when were/mates fight the pull for a bit. I also liked that although the bond brought them together they fell in love individually and through their actions. It made their story all the sweeter.

They fight for each other against a common enemy and old fears and insecurities. I like that Renny fought to be included in dealing with her Stalker instead of letting them coddle her.

I thought the world building was interesting and I love that I am rooting for new characters to get their own installment...(Zeke please!) Secondary character actually sell me or they disappoint and Zeke and Molly were fun and engaging. I want to see more of all the people introduced in upcoming books.

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.

Christine Warren's novels are always a fun escape from reality and this start to her latest series doesn't disappoint! This book has both a second chance at love and the destructive fallout of obsession as the plot through which we're introduced to Alphaville. I can't wait to read more about this town of shifter misfits and what shenanigans they can get into.

Baby, I'm Howling For You is a new shifter series by Christine Warren and it ticks all the boxes for me. Sexy alpha wolf shifters, feisty heroines and fates mates.
After reading Something To Howl About, I knew I was going to enjoy the tone and feel of this new series by Ms Warren. It's different from her Gargoyles series which I have also enjoyed but I love the passion, sense of danger and light humour in this one. I love the part of the story focusing on Renny and Mick as fated mates - the stubborn wolf resisting at first, until he can't. :-)
I liked Renny right from the start. There's something about a damsel in distress in romances that tugs at my heart. But Renny is no pushover and when she's not running in fear and adrenalin overload from an insane stalker, she's direct, independent and caring. I liked that she was honest and upfront about what was going on and didn't try to hide anything from those around her. I also admired her from wanting to build a life of her own and not cowering in fear. And Renny was sensible about her situation and understood her own weaknesses and inability to protect herself, resulting in her needing the help and support of the people in town.
Mick has had a traumatic past and he's in Alpha to hide from the world. Things change overnight when his mate comes barreling into his life, desperate and injured. It certainly brings out the protective instincts in him. I loved how alpha Mick is. He's all growly and overprotective. So damn sexy. Despite being blinded by his protective instincts at times, he's also a smart man and one who is willing to communicate with his mate and listen.
I loved that Renny and Mick communicated. Bring thrown together as mates suddenly is a big deal and a lot of change to absorb in a short period of time. Aside from a few hiccups, Mick and Renny dealt with the situation as mature adults. I loved that. They talked and worked things out, even when Mick was being stubborn and Renny was chaffing at her lack of freedom.
While this is an entertaining story, it also illustrates how awful it is to have a crazy stalker after you. I would never take lightly someone in this situation. It can destroy a person's life.
I loved this start to the Alphaville series and am looking forward to future books.

Alphaville is the new series by Christine. I have read her work in the past, to be honest, she is a hit or miss for me. I nice and easy in between story. The story is quick passed, nothing but a good action, suspense romantic story with some crazy Coyotes after the main heroine. I enjoyed both characters they both felt real with each having their own little flaws.

This is a brand spanking new series from an amazing paranormal author that I've come to love and who's become an automatic one click author for me.

I'm a huge fan of paranormal romance stories and this is one of the best that I've had the pleasure of reading in a while. I loved the instant connection between Renny and Mick and literally couldn't get enough of them together! If this incredibly addictive story is a sign of things to come, then I'm going to love this entire series so much!

I highly recommend everything written by this amazing author

I found the summary for this novel to be very intriguing, and although the execution was not completely polished, it was still an enjoyable read!

1st full length novel set in this new world.

Mick is a lone wolf through choice. After his mate was killed Mick dealt with those responsible in a bloody fashion. Now settled in Alpha, he is content with his cabin in the middle of nowhere and his
calling as a Graphic Novellist.

Renny is a Librarian and just loves books. But that love of books got her into a sticky situation and when she rebuffed the Alpha of the town, he started to harass her. Now he has graduated to stalker and uses his goons to track her down. Her last hope is Alpha, haven for shifters of all kinds. But when her car breaks down and the goons are on her tail, she hightails into the forest and lands on the unsuspecting Mick's door!

Poor Mick doesn't know what way is up. His wolf says she is his mate but he already had a mate and doesn't believe what he feels. Renny is in so much danger she can't work out why she feels so safe with this strange, lonely male. But she feels an attraction that she can't deny..she just keeps getting mixed signals from Mick!

Mick is a man in denial! He may still has a few issues but he is dealing with them and is just perfect for Renny. His inner rants at himself are quite entertaining. He loves Renny for who she is and at turns loves her intelligence and hates that downright stubborn streak she has. He really has to lock her out of decisions for her own safety sometimes because she is so damn independent!

Renny is no damsel in distress, ooh i broke a nil type! She is brilliantly feisty and I loved her.

Looking forward to more in this series cos the cocky mayor has got to get knocked off his feet!

This book started off okay off me, then I kinda lost interest. It wasn't bad, but by the end my interest just wasn't really invest in the characters or story. Character, story, and setting developement were okay but didn't overly stand out to me. I would check it out if you love shift books, though.

I loved the start to this new series. A werewolf with tattoos who is also a graphic novelist? Where was this town, again??

I'll definitely be on the lookout for the next book.

Baby, I'm Howling For You by Christine Warren is the first book in the Alphaville series. And the first book I have read from this author. The beginning started out slow, and picked up by the end. But I felt as if Renny for being a shape shifter, was too meek for me.

The story begins with Renny running for her life, and Mick is an alpha who lost his mate. Fate seemed to want them to meet, and sparks fly!

Lots of action, suspense, and a steamy love story all in one.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I enjoyed it and it was easy to read but didn't pull me in or get me to invest in the characters much. Thanks for the read.

This story certainly comes with all of the fixings you expect in a good paranormal romance. I am really liking Alphaville so far.
Renny & Mick have fantastic chemistry which makes it very believable that they would be destined mates. Mick lost his previous mate and is still angry and bitter, so he is not sold right away on the fact that he could possibly have another but their is no denying the draw between them and the overwhelming sense of possessiveness and protectiveness he feels for this beautiful wolf. Renny is so smart and independent and I admire that considering everything she is going through. I really like both of them and together they are simply hot! When they give into their destiny it is a beautiful thing.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Alphaville is set in the same world as Warren's Others series, which I haven't read. I might have a better idea what it means to be an alpha in this world if I had, but in general I don't feel like I'm missing any important details. I have read some of her Gargoyles series and like with Alphaville so far, I love the ideas behind it, but the execution is just okay.

Mick and Renny are a book nerd's dream couple, a graphic novelist and a librarian. Some of my favorite moments are when she talks about his work. But he also has a throw the woman over his shoulder and drag her back to his cave moment that I could do without. It's very similar to that same moment in the prequel novella and in general, I feel like there are too many similarities between the romances in the two stories.

I did like getting to meet more of Alpha's residents this time. I love the variety of shifter types, which includes badgers and wolverines in addition to the usual wolves, bears and cats, as well as the variety of personalities. I'm always a fan of small towns with big personalities. What I like most about this particular story are the police procedural elements, even though it's not actually told from a police POV. It is setting up Deputy Zeke for his own book so I have high hopes for the next one in the series.

Renny is on the run from an obsessive madman and her last chance at finding a place can be safe is Alpha, Washington, but when it is within her grasp, her car dies and she knows her stalkers are right behind her. She runs into the woods and is almost caught by the coyotes after her. The only reason she finds herself still alive is that of the wolf who shoots at her pursuer and just in the nick of time too.  Mick wants nothing from the female wolf he rescues but he can't just let her die in his front yard, so he brings her into his home and calls for help.  What he doesn't like is that the moment she shifts into her human self, he can't keep his eyes off her and when it is decided, and not by him, that she should stay the night in his home while she recovers from her injuries he can't stop himself from feeling glad that he was to have her under his roof for a bit more time.  Mick lost his mate and he doesn't know why he didn't follow her into death, but when Renny comes into his life, his wolf won't stop telling him that she is their mate. He tries to resist her and to push her away, but with each attempt on her life, he grows more and more determined to protect her and to have her. Renny is confused by Mick's behavior; when they first meet his behavior screams that he wants nothing to do with her, but then he projects protective and domineering tendencies and when he mate-claims her she is just utterly confused, but deep down she hopes that they can work things out, because she is falling in love fast and hard. I loved the characters and the concept of Alpha, Washington. This new series by Christine Warren has great potential. The villains were so easy to hate and Renny is such a strong female protagonist. I️ didn’t like how quickly Mick caves to his desire for Renny. He lost his mate and from the moment Renny runs onto his land he gives off strong vibes of how much her presence isn’t wanted but then suddenly he bites and claims her as his mate and then he goes on like it is a done deal. His resistance went from strong to nonexistent and then he was pissed when she had doubts about his commitment.  Their adventure was exciting. The dynamic between Renny and Mick was great. The action exciting. The passion intense and nonstop. It was a second chance at love for Mick and a second chance at happiness for Renny. I will definitely read more in this series. All of the secondary characters were strong and stood on their own and I️ can’t wait for each of their stories too.
