Renny Landry is being stalked. Unfortunately for her, her stalker is an alpha wolf shifter with a pack of nasty wolves at his beck and call. Renny has Alpha Ville in her sights where she finally hopes to find a measure of safety and security when she's brought down by her stalkers. Enter Mick Fisher who has his own demons to fight. Has Renny landed into the fire from the frying pan? But Mick smells so enticing! Could he possibly be her mate?Mick is a loner. He has secluded himself on the outskirts of Alpha Ville after his mate was killed. Renny arouses powerful feelings in him but he's been there done that. Wolves only mate once or?........ Coincidentally the wolf pack chasing Renny are the ones that he has a history with. Life sure has a way of coming full circle. All his protective instincts are in full force as he gears up to protect Renny and defeat her enemies.
Renny is feisty and while life has handed her a tough hand she's not beaten by any means as evidenced by the fact that she's managed to keep herself safe and at least one step ahead of her stalkers. Here in Alpha Ville she's found a home. The librarian loves her and can't wait to teach her all the ropes so she can retire. She's made great friends. The mayor and sheriff's have vowed to protect her. Life would be perfect if she could get one surly wolf to acknowledge his feelings.
i enjoyed the twists and turns in this romance and have definitely enjoyed meeting the colorful and entertaining cast of characters introduced in the series so far. Can't wait to read how they each find their mate.

Wolf shifter, Renny Landry, is on the run. She’s been stalked by a crazy coyote shifter for the last several months. It has gotten so bad that she quit her job and moved out of town, but he continues to find her. Now he’s sent a hunting party after her to bring her back to him. They have chased her through two states and she’s desperately trying to get to Alpha, Washington, a sanctuary for shifters in trouble. She’s so close when her car runs out of gas, but the coyotes are on her tail, and she must make a run for it.

Mick Fischer left his home eight years ago after his own grandfather killed his mate. He now lives in Alpha and writes graphic novels. He is very much the lone wolf of the community. However, all of that is about to change once he sees a coyote nearly kill a wolf shifter on his property. He scares the coyote off, but the female wolf is badly injured. He takes her in and gets help for her badly bleeding wounds.

“ I’m going to take a look around outside while Molly bandages up the victim. I’ll need to ask her a hell of a lot of questions, but they can wait till she’s conscious.”

“You’ll get better answers that way,” Jaeger said, mouth curving.”

Mick can’t get over the resemblances between Renny and his deceased mate. And, his inner wolf is adamant that this stranger is their mate, but that can’t be … he already had his mate and lost her.

It doesn’t take long for Mick to realize the trouble that Renny is in. Not to mention, his past he has tried all these years to forget, comes back to haunt him, once he realizes the crazy coyote after Renny was his mate’s half-brother. He has now taken over the territory that Mick vacated after doling out his vengeance. And, Geoffrey is not taking no for an answer when it comes to Renny! The town of Alpha must all come together to protect their newest resident. And, Mick knows that he won’t survive losing another mate. Geoffrey must be destroyed, but they have to find him first!

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a shifter story, but I always enjoy them. This book was no exception. It wasn’t my favorite of reads, but it was a decent start to a new series. Although I found it, a bit predictable and the characters got a bit too wordy and over descriptive in their thoughts, at times.

Renny is a bit of a contradiction though. She wanted to come off as a tough cookie, but always ended up the damsel in distress instead. She got all mad at Mick for not letting her have a say in how they handled the situation, but then when he took her along to the big planning meeting toward the end of the book, she didn’t want to be there. Make up your mind, girl, you either want to be a part of the process or you don’t!

Mick is what you’d expect from an alpha male; overprotective! Once he quit trying to fight what he was feeling for Renny, he went all in, and wasn’t going to let anything come between them. He was also a bit of a horndog too 🙂 , also expected!

Overall, this was a decent read. I think there is a lot of room for improvement going forward in this series, so hopefully we’ll see that. I’m really hoping the next one won’t be as predictable and I can just get lost in the shifter sexiness!

New series by a great author!!! Warren has taken her shifters to Alphaville, a safe-haven town run by shifters, for shifters. I can not wait to see what adventures take place in this new setting.

Interesting read. This is my first Christine Warren book I've read. From the start up to the last, I was hooked. The characters are good and I was easily pulled in into the story. The book is well written and I love everything about it.

Renny Landry, wolf shifter, is literally running for her life and trying to stay alive when she stumbles into the yard of alpha male Mick Frasier. Alphaville becomes her refuge from her coyote stalker and the people/shifters there will do all that they can to keep her safe. She is even offered her dream job!

Mick suffered the loss of one mate years ago and has difficulty accepting that Renny is also his mate. He will protect her and do everything in his power to keep her safe from her stalker because the alternative might just kill him!

I am looking forward to more stories in the Alphaville series. Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for an ARC; all opinions are my own.

BABY, I'M HOWLING FOR YOU was a fun, action-packed paranormal romance which tick off all of the paranormal romance tropes in an entirely entertaining way. It had tons of twists and plot points that I thoroughly enjoyed and really didn't see coming which I am always appreciative of. I liked the concept of Alphaville, as a place for shifters who have nowhere else to go. With that as a setting there's definitely plenty of room for more books especially with the various quirky Alphaville residents we are introduced to. The plot was really entertaining in a thriller-esque sort of way as Renny's stalker ramps up his dangerous behavior. There was also a nice balance between the action and the romantic development between Renny and Mick.

I enjoyed Renny and Mick's relationship, especially since they are a librarian and a graphic novelist. Their home library must be amazing! Mick was unlikable for me in the beginning as he suffered from angry-Alpha syndrome. He redeemed himself somewhat in the end though I was more partial to Renny. Renny is a woman who is not about to just sit back and let others solve her problems. She tough, resourceful, and thoughtful of others. Although, I kind of wanted to tell her that it's okay to accept some help sometimes especially since she has an insane stalker after her! I enjoyed learning Mick and Remy's backstories and how they were connected to each other in a unique sort of way.

BABY, I'M HOWLING FOR YOU is a great start to a series that has a ton of potential for some interesting stories. I loved Remy and Mick's relationship and seeing them workout the kinks. The plot was thrilling and tense with some lightheartedness thrown in to balance the story out. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series when it comes out!

Baby, I'm Howling for You was a great introduction into the new Alphaville world. These characters, both the corporeal and incorporeal (inner wolves) were an interesting and sometimes fun bunch. Mitch was a great character. He had a sad past and mad for a very protective alpha male. When Renny runs into him she brings a lot of trouble with her. These two have a lot of learning to do with each other and the battle of wits is fantastic.

The plot was entertaining and I look forward to the next books in the series. The suspense was kept tight and everything unfolded at a good pace. I highly recommend it to those who look for a good paranormal romance.

Baby, I'm howling for you is the first in a new series and let me tell you it's hot! We have one lone Alpha werewolf living in Alpha who is hiding away waiting to die. We have one red wild on the run from stalker coyotes and well when she lands at his feet things will never be the same.

Add in one Mountain Lion mayor, sibling lions, and a wolverine and you get banter, hotness, sweet moments, mystery, and one heck of a page turner.

Solid start to a new series by Christine Warren. I liked both the main characters, but their romance didn't grab my attention as much as I would have liked/wanted. I was more curious about some of the secondary characters like the coyotes. Looking forward to reading more of this series! 3/5

This is a really good start to this series! Ms. Warren's stories always has such interesting plots involving shifters I knew I couldn't pass up this next new one. I loved the idea of Alphaville. The city made up of shifters who either do not have a pack or are by nature solitary was fascinating. Add in that all the government positions were filled by Alphas and I loved it. I liked that it was Renny’s version of a safe haven. Even more, that it was attainable. That it was real and there were people ready to help Renny with her stalker.
Then there is the mating between Mick and Renny.. She has a difficult time believing that Mick could truly love her and care for her after already losing a mate. Typically wolves mate for life which is taken to mean: it only happens once. So for her to be his mate is almost an anomaly and I can definitely understand how she would have reservations in regards to how she thinks he feels for her. On Mick's side of things, after his mate was killed and avenged, he thought he would die as well, but instead he just shut down. It's been a long time since anyone has been able to penetrate the shell he's built around himself and he's not entirely sure he wants that shell to be broken. I liked that Christine Warren brings up these topics and insecurities between Mick and Renny..
Such a great couple and wonderful secondary characters. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Thanks to the publisher and netgalley for allowing me to read this story.

4 stars.
My first book by Christine Warren and I really enjoyed this paranormal romance.
I am ok with the dead wife issue unlike some of my friends just the same as I believe in second chances- the ability of as humans(or wolves in this case) to survive heartbreak and open up our hearts to love again is a courageous and hopeful thing in my opinion.
I liked Alphaville as the town of misfits and all the characters were well developed and fun to read. Renny's plight as the single red wolf desperate to run and hide from her obsessive stalker also made for a very adventurous story. I loved her character she was fiercely brave and independent .
Mick was very much the controlling alpha male, he had survived the loss of his first mate only to discover years later that Renny is also his intended mate.
He is more than surprised when he rescues the wounded wolf but it doesn't take him long to recover and claim Renny as his own.
Engaging plot and I was absorbed from start to finish.

ARC received in exchange for honest review.

I was initially hesitant with this book because I find the title a little cheesy but I have enjoyed Christine Warren's books before so I gave it a chance. I'm so glad I did! It was very entertaining with a lot of action and great characters. Renny is trying desperately to get away from a vicious alpha stalker who wants to make her suffer and die for rejecting him. Making the situation even more dangerous is his pack of followers who help him in this task. I liked Renny a lot - she was courageous and feisty while showing good common sense. Mick saves her at the beginning right when it looks like she has finally been caught. They both recognize the other as their fated life mate but Mick tries to resist this truth. He lost his first life mate 8years before and he's basically lived in seclusion since, waiting to die.

One thing about Christine Warren's writing that I really enjoy is her sense of humour. Here, Mick's wolf isn't having it when Mick tries to deny that Renny is his life mate and his exchanges with Mick are priceless. I really liked that Wolf!

There are many secondary characters here who seem interesting in their own right. I would enjoy seeing their stories as well.
So - an abundance of action, a satisfying romance and interesting side characters- there's much to like here. I give this book a very high 4 stars. It would be a 5 if the "bad guy" was fleshed out a bit more. He seemed a little one-dimensional. Still, a really satisfying and fun read. I look forward to reading more in this series.
I received a copy for review through Net Galley for my honest review.

I really enjoyed this one. So much action, comedy, and romance all wrapped up into one. I loved the different types of shifters in this as well. All in all, it was a fun and easy paced read!

Who needs more than a strong female who is mistaken for a damsel in distress?
This author does shifters well.
A strong Alpha who doesn't want another mate and a female who knows she's not only met the one man who can keep her safe but also her fated mate.
Sound good? Well it is.
Running from bad guys, trying to reclaim a life and getting past stubborn fears all combine to make this a quick, sexy, entertaining way to spend a few hours.

This is one of those books that while I loved the concept and even enjoyed several aspects of it, it dragged on and on and on. I bet I put it down 30 times in the past couple of days which is kind of sad because I had the house to myself and could read to my heart’s content.

I loved the town of Alphaville and really enjoyed getting to know its inhabitants. From the wolverine librarian who just wants to retire to the overworked sheriff’s deputy, Zeke, they had me smiling. Zeke’s interactions with his sister garnered more than a few smiles. I found the mayor interesting, and want to know more about him.

Mick, the wolf shifter hero, had all kinds of things going for him. He’s grumpy, broody and more than a little broken, but also hotter than Hades. Life had not been kind to him and he wasn’t all fired up to jump into a mating when he personally knew the cost of losing everything.

Renny was likable enough but she just didn’t click for me. On the run from a crazed stalker, the first scenes had me thinking she was a tough little fighter. But then she turned into a helpless thing who couldn’t fight her way out of a paper bag. She was constantly arguing that since she was the target, she needed to be involved with taking down the crazy coyote and his band of whack jobs, and she was right. But then when they finally have the group in their sights and are planning the takedown, she wonders why she has to be there. My jaw dropped open.

Renny and Mick had lots of chemistry but I wondered if it was all about the mate bond. Renny especially struggled with the fact that Mick didn’t seem to be all in and I was right there with her. The sex scenes were hot the first couple times, but after a while it seemed to be more of a lather, rinse, repeat thing. I had no problem putting my iPad down in the middle of a sex scene to do other things which is unusual.

My biggest problem stemmed from the constant feeling that the shifters of Alphaville were chasing their tails when it came to finding the crazy coyotes. I felt like it took forever for them to gain any traction on the case and since a full month passed with them looking for them, it kind of did. When the big break came and they started making phone calls and asking questions, I wondered why they didn’t do that on the front end.

In the end, Baby, I’m Howling For You ended up being an okay read. I loved the town and its people but the story itself dragged on forever. If you need a paranormal fix it’s not a bad choice as it has all the elements you’d expect and the characters are interesting. Just don’t expect it to grab you and not let go.

BABY, I'M HOWLING FOR YOU is witty and fun as well as sexy, heart-stopping and amazing. This book takes us back into author Christine Warren's fabulous world of her "Other" paranormals. The Alphaville series is a shifters haven and something that only Ms. Warren's imagination and writing ability can take you to. Though I loved her gargoyle stories, I am thrilled to have her back with these stories.

There are a number of hilarious, snarky moments mostly provided by brother and sister lions, Zeke, the deputy and Molly, an EMT, who quickly became a couple of my favorite people, but you will also find a lot of good realistic conversations, and action that will soon have you loving this town. Renny is amazing and quickly learns that Mick is rather conflicted, with a past that is heartbreaking, but once he steps up to the mate thing, he is there 100%.

BABY, I'M HOWLING FOR YOU is a fantastic read, funny and sad, steamy and sweet that will have you waiting impatiently for more!

...So, what did I like about it?
Christine Warren is still a new-ish author for me; I find her writing style easy to read, enjoy the pace of her plot lines and the eclectic mix of shifter species she includes.

I really enjoyed the first chapter, it left me breathless; a great opening to a story that was full of emotion and adrenaline. We meet our hero and heroine, find out a bit about their pasts and meet some of the other residents of Alphaville.

Although I didn’t like Mack until near the end of this story, Renny on the other hand is fabulous - an urban fantasy heroine through and through; she's intelligent, resilient with a great sense of humour and she’s got gumption!

I’m going to own up, Baby, I'm Howling for You made me shed a tear or two, it had me biting my nails on the edge of my seat wondering how it would end, had me chuckling at the humour and got my blood pressure rising at the caveman sensibilities of our hero, Mack. Oh and yes because the passion between our two protagonists, Renny and Mack, ignites practically instantly, my cheeks turned pink a few times too!

...So, ummm, was there anything I disliked about it?
Ok, so I’ve got to be honest, there are a couple of things about this book that I struggled with.

Firstly, I have issues with our hero, Mack; he's not my cup of tea. I didn’t "get" him, there’s not enough inner dialogue in this book that explains what’s actually going on in that thick alpha-male head of his and what his human side feels about Renny. In short, his actions frustrated me and it took the shine off. Why does everything have to be so extreme?!

And secondly, I missed the romance in this paranormal romance tale; our hero is an alpha of few words and rough passion and although there were quite a few hot and steamy scenes almost from the start, I felt that the “romance” or relationship building didn’t get started until well into the last quarter of the book. That’s too late for me, I couldn’t engage with the relationship aspect of this story.

...So, basically what I’m saying is...
I enjoyed this book; it was good. Baby, I'm Howling for You has proved to have many of the elements that I look for in an engaging paranormal romance; a gripping thriller, humour, a great leading lady, a good set of supporting characters and oodles of passion.

Due to the sexual content - it’s definitely steamy with a capital S – and violence, I’d recommend this book to adults who are fans of paranormal fated mate/insta-love stories with a bit of fire and passion.

I really liked this! The story was cute but also meaningful - it felt like the hero and heroine belonged together. After a lot of fighting on the hero's part, they realized they were meant for each other... but that wasn't the end of their troubles!! All in all, a great short read that'll have you wanting more!

Baby, I'm Howling for You is the 1st full-length book in Christine Warren's new Alphaville series.

Renny Landry fled her home, headed toward what she hopes is safety in Alpha, to escape the claws of a cruel and abusive stalker. Alpha is a safe place for those shifters who've been cast out, are different, or need sanctuary. Renny is hoping that by getting the Alpha, her stalker will be stopped and she can live the rest of her life in peace. Just outside the border of town, her stalker's huntsmen catch up to her....

Mick Fischer lives out in the middle of nowhere on the just inside the Alpha border for a reason - he needs the quiet and to be alone. He's trying to escape his past and live in the present. All of that shatters when a wolf is pursued onto his property by a pack of hyenas. Making a call to save the wolf from the attack, Mick unknowingly re-opens his past. And then the unthinkable happens - his wolf singles her out as its own - an impossible occurrence considering Mick's past ~ or is it?

I really enjoyed Baby, I'm Howling for You. Renny is a strong character who just couldn't take the verbal, mental, emotional, and potential physical abuse from someone in a position of power. Mick is standoffish and gruff but once you learn about his past you understand his demeanor. The chemistry between Renny and Mick is off the charts even though they try to fight it off. The author doesn't do an instant relationship with them and the slow build is worth the wait.

Baby, I'm Howling for You is engaging right from the start. I couldn't put the book down and read it one setting. The story is fast-paced and full of suspense and action. The author did a great job tying Renny's present with Mick's past. I enjoyed the interactions between all of the characters and some of it was comical. I enjoyed all aspects of the book from the drama to the love and can't wait for the next book in the series.
