The beginning was a little slow me but when I started on it I kept on going..

The plot and the both the characters captured me. And add all the secondary characters. It is well written book.

I got to point out; It has been some time since I have read a book that is just Romance. No Fantasy or mystery in it.

Unless you count the Will they stay together? & Will he get his daughter? Questions as either Mystery or Suspense.

The book and the plot surprised me along the way and it was a good one. Not boring. The Romance was like a wave. When it came it would sweep you off your feet.

Noah and Grace is different from other. Two different backgrounds. But they connected, both physically and emotionally. And I felt that connection in every piece of themselves they showed each other.

A Romance worth reading for me.

I loved this book, There were so many different things going on, but they ended up connecting all the characters in one way or another. This book focused on the love of a father, and the greed of another one. When fates throws Noah and Grace together just when things start to get worse, will they be each others downfall or saving grace? Thank you for letting me read this ARC and write a honest review.

Noah loved being a SEAL. He enlisted so he could go to college to study to be an architect, but never it made it, becasue he loved being a SEAL. He also married his high school sweetheart, Cindy, and they have a young daughter, Lily. But now he has 4 months to go on his current assignment and is deciding whether or not to re-enlist. Shortly before he is preparing to parachute into Iraq, Cindy informs him that she is filing for divorce, moving to NYC and then marrying a wealthy man that she has been having an affair with- and she wants full custody of Lily, so he can just stay in the SEALS. Months later he is living in NYC, working for his sister' company Bella Designs, as a carpenter. He first meets Grace at a bar and then coincidentally, Bella is redesigning her loft. They are drawn to each other, but he can only concentrate on Lily and she has her own baggage that she is dealing with. So they agree to just be friends with benefits. Sure, that's gone to work, lol.

I read an Arc provided by netgalley,com for an honest review. The story was very strong with Noah and Grace each dealing with their own problems, but reaching out to help the other with their problems. Not only were the main characters well developed, but so were all the others. Not all the conflicts were resolved to the reader's liking, which only made the story more real. And who doesn't like to read about SEALS? The one con, is that it was totally out of character for Noah to not have read the sealed envelope that Cindy handed to him, as a SEAL always needs to be prepared.

A mostly solid romance with a few minor issues. Overall the plot was good and written rather well. Thanks

This was my first book by this author. Loved it from the start. Great read and have me the feels. Was a top read for me

'Someone Like You' by Brittney Sahin is the story of Grace Parker-King and Noah Dalton.
Their story had allot of emotional ties to it. Noah was a former Navy Seal but had to come home. Grace is a rich business woman from a well known family. Grace has her issues too that she is fighting. But they can't seem to fight their attraction to each other.

Beautiful read...I have found a new author to stalk.

Someone Like You by Brittney Sahin is my first read by her and I am definitely checking out more reads from her. I don’t know what I would classify this read as, but it was good that is for sure!

Grace is from a very elite wealthy family. She has exceptions that she must follow, after all she’s a Parker-King. Her dad is demanding that she marry a man she doesn’t love, just so they can join two wealthy families. Its all about image for her dad and he doesn’t care about Grace or her life, just money. One night while she is at a bar, she meets a man who asks her if she is happy. Of course, she says yes...she has money, a job, and can take care of herself. But is she really happy? Underneath all the gorgeous clothes and face, is a woman who is suffering after a terrible incident. An incident that changed her life and has caused her to be on guard all the time. Will Grace ever find true happiness? Will this strange gorgeous man she can get out of her head, change her life?

Noah’s life consisted of his daughter, wife and serving his country. Noah is a Navy SEAL and he is a soldier through and through. He loves his family, but the SEALS are in his blood. Right before he leaves for a mission, his wife drops a bomb on him. She just turned his life upside down and he’s had to make life changing alterations to his life. Why? Because his daughter is his number one. He will do whatever it takes, to fight for custody of her, even move to New York and give up the SEALS. Slowly, moving into his new life, his cousin convinces him to go out for the night. Noah is happy doing nothing, but takes a chance to get out. When he spots a gorgeous woman in the bar, he isn’t looking for a relationship, maybe just a hookup. But then he meets Grace and soon his life will once again be turned upside down.

These two are complete opposites, but yet they fit so perfectly together. They connected on a different level and I like that they took the time to get to know one another. They had great chemistry both in and out of the bed. Noah is sweet, alpha male, but not over the top and he his protective. Grace is strong, but yet can show a vulnerable side to her. I was cheering right from their first meeting.

There were a few characters that I did not like and wanted to punch. However, there were two that redeemed themselves and I am intrigued by them. For my first read by Brittney, I have to say this was a fantastic start. Can’t wait to read more! 4 Stars!

The chemistry between Noah and Grace was obvious from the very start of the book. I really enjoyed the development of their characters, both of them learning to trust the other with their issues. Truly enjoyable read!

I have,never read this author but will I. Future, could not put this story down, it was wonderful story of Noah and Grace, what a couple, I hope the author writes about graces 2 brothers wiould love o know their story , read this book you will not be disappointed great author well done!

I received an ARC of this book. Wow what a gut wrenching romance. I do admit I was in tears at one point. The story of Noah and Grace showed how two people from different worlds can overcome some extreme obstacles and fall in love. They definitely had a lasting love which was great to see a glimpse into the future at the end. Great book!

I really loved this book! This is a new to me author and I knew very little about the book . I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. The writing is good, the characters intriguing, and the story very enjoyable and different. The only complaint I have is that the pace of the story was a little slow for my preference but it didn't take away from the at all. I will most definitely be looking to read more from this author and recommend everyone give this book a shot.

Someone Like You was a good story. Grace is the good girl from the upper-class. Noah is ex-military & a blue-collar worker. When their paths cross, they think nothing of it until later on they cross again. They both know they should stay away from each other but can they? Grace's family doesn't want someone like Noah for her but what they have something special. This was a quick read & I really enjoyed it. I voluntarily reviewed a copy for Netgalley.

I loved this book I was hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put my kindle down while reading this book I was hooked. This is the first book that I have read by Brittney and I will be reading more from her in the future. I loved the writing in this book. This was an entertaining quick read .I loved Noah as a character and i loved his relationship with grace

This was a very good book about a woman that was being told how to live her life by the ones that was supposed to have loved her the most. But when a seal comes he gave her the best gift ever...FREEDOM

I did not have especially high expectations for this one but I ended up really loving it. So much so that once I started it, I let my bedtime go past because I had to finish it. Well written, with sympathetic characters and a lot of heart this book has so much going for it.

Someone Like You is the first book I have read by Brittney Sahin and I am so glad I did. This story captured me from the start and took me inside the page with the characters. I loved the characters and the storyline and can only say I will be definitely be looking to read more by this author.
