I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. What a roller coaster ride! Twists and turns that I did not see coming. I did have one part figured out, but the wrong reason.

This book was well written, and fast paced. Character development was fantastic. The flash backs to the past helped clarify what was going on in the future, but added that twist to the story that made it impossible to put down.

Could not put this book down.

Sometimes I Lie starts out fascinating and remains so until it’s almost over, when what is really going on is revealed. I found that revelation to be a cheap trick which completely ruined the book for me. It just became stupid.

Perhaps other readers will find what appears to be a suspenseful story about a woman in a coma intriguing. I did not.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley and am under no obligation to write a positive review.

like a book that keeps me off-center, guessing who is trustworthy and who is, ultimately the villain. In this story, the main character, Amber Reynolds, is in a coma. She may appear to be out of it, but she can hear everything going on around her. Amber knows her husband doesn’t love her anymore, she’s honest with herself about that, but not much else. Amber likes to lie. This is a twisted masterpiece of a thriller. I can;t say too much more without giving away the plot, just do yourself a favor and pick up this book!

This was given to me by Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. I normally purchase every book that I review, but not this one! It is truly dispicable, sadistic, insane. I find nothing redeeming in this book! I , personally, do not recommend! Thanks!

**Thanks to NetGalley for providing me a complimentary copy of SOMETIMES I LIE by Alice Feeney in exchange for my honest review**

We know three things about Amber.
1. She’s in a coma.
2. Her husband doesn’t love her.
3. Sometimes she lies.

Amber narrates from before and after Christmas, in between are chapters from a childhood diary that I don’t want to spoil by telling any more of the plot. I had my doubts through the first chapters not knowing what was truth and what was lie, who were the heroes, who the villains. I was wrong about almost everything.

Feeney crafted such truly unique, twisted psychological conundrum. Don’t read too many reviews, but do read SOMETIMES I LIE.

I thought I had this book figured out but I wasn't prepared for this author's trickery!

This story's blurb drew me in, but I was already hooked after reading the first page. The writing style was tight, easy to read, the book unputdownable, the story deliciously twisted! I only wished that I'd liked the narrator more. By the end of the story, I sort of felt neutral towards Amber. She could've walked off a cliff and I would've happily waved goodbye to her.

The ending wrapped up too neatly but this was a thrilling read! Enjoyed!
