This book just blew me away, it was another "what the HELL did I just read" There are a few reasons aside from the story itself. The cover gives nothing away, the blurb doesn't really go into what this fantastic story is really about and so I decide to take the leap into this one. Well holy hell, what a leap and what a fantastic story this is.

It's not what you think, it's not any image you can conjure up. You just read and go along for the ride. The characters are phenomenal, the few side characters are great. The backstory is WOW and that's all I am saying. The plot is seamless and moves along quite well and then there is a bit of romance. What I'm not giving you is the storyline, the author didn't and I'm not either. Her writing is fantastic. She gets inside their heads and takes you with her.

Read the book! There were so many things that were said that I highlighted. Which I feel more comfortable elaborating more on when the book gets released. And a more in depth review.

My advice, go for this book. Read it as it is and let it wash over you. Don't let the cover or the blurb distract you, just jump in.

I'd give it 10 stars if possible.

I received an ARC of this book. I just have to say this was the most touching story I have read in a while. Two broken people with pasts one would never wish for and finding their way to each other in a beautiful love story. I enjoyed this book immensely. I knew there would be a twist but deep down knew Micah would figure it out and make it right. Beautiful touching love story.

Nightingale by Jocelyn Adams was a steady-paced read full of feels. Darcy and Micah are perfect for each other; both struggling to find their way as they deal with the blows life has dealt them. Couldn’t get enough of this story and wasn’t ready for it to end! Nicely done Ms. Adams!

An ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

I had a hard time getting into the book in the beginning. I'm glad I kept reading Nightingale, I truly loved it. The compassion that both Micah and Darcy have is heartwarming.
