Ann wants to get revenge on Jack and sets out to do just that. But he is not the bad boy he used to be! Overall an enjoyable read.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, at least that's how the saying goes. Best laid plans don't always work out. Ann Weaver sets out to get back at the one who broke her heart. Jack Bloom is back in town for good and is looking to settle down. While at first glance you may think these two won't overcome their obstacles, they clearly have chemistry in spades. Ann and Jack is the first book in the series which shows promise in finding a way through past betrayals.

This book was ok. The hero was kind of an asshole. I liked the female friendship but the whole revenge over high school stuff seemed awfully petty.

Marie Harte is known for her writing abilities and it definitely shows in this book and the other 2 books in this series. They where just so amazing and they flowed together brilliantly that I would read and re-read this book again and again. They are that fabulous and Marie Harte has outdone herself again what a amazing and wonderful author she is. Would wholeheartedly, highly and totally recommend this book and the other 2 books in this series. Give them ago as you will totally love them like I do.

Served Cold is the first book in Marie Harte’s Best Revenge series and for those who have come to love her ability to create fantastic contemporary romance with great main characters and fabulous secondary characters, this story is certain to be a winner.

The chemistry between Ann and Jack as they rekindle their high school romance is spectacular; and while second chance romances are never easy, love is destined to win in the end. This story has only made me anxious for the next one!

Review copy provided via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to like this more than I did. I thought Jack was an immature, cocky bastard.

In high school Ann Weaver fell madly in love with Jack, thought they had a future together... then Jack ended things unexpectedly and completely humiliated her in front of everyone in the process... and it hurt like hell. She has since moved on, outgrown her teenage feelings, but a little part of her would like to exact a little revenge... if the moment presented itself. Little does she know Jack is back in town, and her wish for revenge might just be granted!

Jack Bloom screwed up royally when he let Ann Weaver slip out of his life, she was everything he could have possibly wanted in a mate, but life had other plans for them. He ended things, on a very bad note, and they haven't had contact since then. Now he is headed back home to stay and he is certain that Ann will be about the last person to welcome him back into town with open arms. But he has plans for a reconciliation, and will stop at nothing to get his girl back...

Served Cold is a sultry little second chance romance story that is sure to have you feeling the heat and smiling throughout! These two were quite the pair, their little reunion was filled with many moments that made me laugh, made me swoon, and made my toes curl. This was such a fun read, if your looking for a sexy read with lots of angst, pick this one up, it's sure to score some serious points!! Highly recommend!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

I received an ARC copy of this book. This was an irresistible romance with two people who were thought to have betrayed each other but as they reconnect they find they were lied to and betrayed by others. Nice easy read.

Served Cold is a fun romance that tugs at your heartstrings Jack and Ann make a wonderful couple once they leave go of their pasts. Their chemistry was great from the very beginning. What a great second chance story. Can’t wait for the next book in the series

I wanted to like this book much more than I did. Mainly because of Jack and I knocked off a star because of him. His attitude and behavior was... immature and ridiculous for a 30 yr old man. He acted like he was still in high school.
The girls aren't much better with the exception of Ann who seemed to be level headed and didn't want to get revenge on Jack despite what she and her two best friends cooked up the night they sat, drunk plotting revenge at the 3 men who upended their lives and all 3 had just returned to town.
Maya was so badly behaved. I liked Riley. She and Anson I'm sure will have a story. Anson is a total problem child. Dex I liked very much. He and Maya butt heads in the best book.
This book had potential, Ann was the backbone of the book. I cringe saying this but there can be such a thing as too much sex in a book especially when the male feels like he's out to prove himself. Not my thing. And much to my disappointment, Jack has a hissy fit and goes silent for a week after Ann tells him the truth about something that happened that he didn't know about because he had just publicly dumped her... for the school whore.... in front of the whole cafeteria.... and now at 30 when again she needs him, he takes off. What a freaking wuss. Yup, did not like Jack. Too bad he didn't listen to his brother a little more.

The Best Revenge series, has three connecting books in it. Served Cold, is book one and sets the series up awesomely. I love second chance romance and this book delivers.

Jack is just arrogant and cocky, “okay, angel. Tomorrow at six. Wear something sexy. Panties optional.” He darted out the door before she could smack him." Jack is a man full of wisdom, “so? I plan to strip the dress off you at some point. It’s more a present for me, really.” He nodded to more stores. “Now, where to next?” I really liked this book, I loved the characters that we were introduced to and I can't wait to see how the other two couples fare.
