Shelly’s mate was Bo. He was a leopard shifter and Shelly was a wolf shifter. Bo was working on a light fixture for their new club Second Chances. Bo was determined to separate him and Shelly from her family. Shelly longed to belong to her pack but there was only a few who accepted her because she was a different species and she wasn’t pin up beautiful like the rest of the females in the pack. With each move Bo was separating the den from the others. Shelley’s favorite holiday was Halloween and she started getting ready for a Halloween gathering for her and her family. Her sister in law Jaycee Jaycee and the other women were waiting for the last member of the circle. There was a fight coming. They were lucky things had been quiet the last six months with no sightings of the monsters. Shelly told Bo him and his clan could go ahead and cut themselves off from everyone but Shelly wasn’t having it. She said she was going back to their home in the city. She said is he wanted to stay there go ahead it wasn’t like she’d be missed. Shelly bit Bo and took off. It would better that way but Jaycee stopped her and asked her why she had a bruise on her head.
I didn’t finish this book. I didn’t like how far they took the BDMS part. I also didn’t like three other men beside her mate/husband Bo could have Shelly sexually rectally. That just wasn't my thing she had to accept three men having access to her body besides Bo. Wolves mate for life. I know it was supposed to be in the name of protection but still…..I am sure someone else will love this just not me. Than they are also in a ship and other shifters keep going there but hit on Bo and disrespect his mate. Nope not for me. Bo should have been taking better care of Shelly and he did figure that out but to bring three other men in where is his jealousy.

I couldn't finish this book. I am not sure what really was so unappealing but I tried a few times and could not get past the first few chapters.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

Wow! I haven't read the previous books and I am definitely going to go back and do so. While it is probably highly recommend to go through the series in order, I was able to get into the plot of the series. This book really grabs you in from the beginning page. I love the way she writes. The characters are so believable and the plot is great. I don't normally read futuristic books (as my mind doesn't comprehend the scene) I don't have a problem with Ms. Blacio's work. She lets your mind build the scene up in your head with just the right amount of detail. I can tell that previous characters are abound in this book. I love that. Having past characters come back into latter books makes me feel like my friends are back. I can't wait to read their books!!!

I highly recommend this book to anyone.

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series. I started at the end and worked my way through it but, the characters and world building blow me away. I love that almost every couple helps other kids and people throughout the story. They are so interwoven that with out one the others would fall apart. Its unique and fun, while still being emotional.

I tip my hat to you Ms. Blacio, I had read about Shelly and Bo but watching them pull in more people into their relationship was interesting. I was confused on how it was going to work at first but you made it work beautifully. I liked that Shelly had reservations to get over as well as trust to develop. Her mates were well suited to her and watching them work out their issues and adopt their daughter was captivating.

Off to start the beginning of the series...HA I do like a unique perspective!

This is book nine in the Running in Fear series which I really like but was not happy to discover this was a re-release under a new title. Everything's the same plot wise except for the timeline and the length since it's now A Halloween to Remember instead of A Christmas to Remember. I really liked Shelly and Bo's story and the progression that they took. The Reticulon concept was interesting and it's transformation into Trinity's typical poly relationships worked well. I like the other couples showing up again and the addition of the adopted children is also really nice.

This story had way less errors and typos then past stories have had, but still needs some work. Ms. Blacio also does much better this time with the emotional journey, with less jumping from one extreme emotion to another without any build up.

This book is number nine, and we know that more is on the way. Trinty Blacio is one of my favorite author. And I read her books all the time, do you like romance with a dab of little kink. Then this book is for you.

A Halloween to remember by Trinity Blacio.
Bo is a cat shifter and Shelley is a wolf shifter. They are married and have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now. The females of the pact disrespect shelley. Who is trest? What are his plans? How dangerous is he?
An absolutely fantastic read. I really do enjoy this series. Can't wait for the next part. Omg what a read. 5*. Highly recommended. Netgalley and Riverdale avenue books.

this is sort of like the snack meant to tie you over till dinner -- satisfying in that it takes the edge off but isn't quite what you really what you want. this focuses on one of the secondary couples adding some angst so that it goes from couple to menage. while I liked what we got to see/learn about the new men there also wasn't a lot of time spent on the relationships development, instead it goes from him deciding this needs to occur with her having lots of doubts to "click" and it's all perfect & all are quite happy with it. felt a little heavy handed to me. I did like the continued world building, seeing them working through issues of creating this new large pack, learning that women beyond the primary 5 also have important roles on the new world and how the men are meant to work with them. it also laid down some pieces toward the next installment (where the 5th primary women is found) and the coming battle with the big bad guys.

Shelly is struggling as the Alpha female. She is a wolf surrounded by cats and feels alone. Bo has so much on his plate he is missing the signs, or is he?
A Halloween to Remember by Trinity Blacio is ninth in her Running in Fear series. It definitely needs to be read in chronological order. It also should be noted that this is a re-release with a slight title change from Christmas to Halloween. There is also a bit more content.
I love Shelly. She has been a presence throughout this series. I love that Ms. Blacio showed that matings do not always go smoothly after the happily ever after. Bo and Shelly seemed to fit but Ms. Blacio showed us why in this story. We see Shelly’s struggles for not only acceptance but also within herself. She fights to see the best in herself constantly and Ms. Blacio showed her real struggle. And when Bo realized his mate was floundering he took steps to correct her and their relationship. I enjoyed seeing Shelly come into her own. She blossomed under the care of Bo, White Eagle, Buck and Argo. She provided something different to each male and likewise they completed needs she never knew she had. I loved the way Ms. Blacio blended the changing relationship with the addition of Shelly’s men. The unexpectedness was articulated well and added layers to the female character we were getting to understand better. I can’t wait to see where Ms. Blacio will take us next in this world.

This book was quite good. Shelly did not think she fit in with Bo and his pack and many of his pack agreed. They decided on a ritual that would bind the two of them with 3 other men. Shelly didn't think the men would like her was pleasantly surprised. This book was more about the new world and how different people fit in it. Another war is coming and everyone needs to prepare. I loved little Anna and how quickly she became part of the family. I am eagerly looking forward to Finding Hope - new next book in the series

This is Book 9 in the Running in Fear Book. I think this is my favorite one in the series so far. Shelly is a wolf and her mate, Bo, is Alpha of the pack of cats. The cats aren’t happy with a wolf in the pack. Shelly has had enough! She goes to her parents’ home and things get interesting from that point on. The Alpha steps up and adds 3 more protectors to the family. The background story of the battle that is coming continues in this book and we learn a little bit more of what’s ahead of them. Plus we get more kids and babies. Oh, and there’s also puppies. I really enjoyed the romance and love that we see in this story. As I said, I think it’s my favorite so. My only regret is it wasn’t long enough. I wanted to know so much more about them. This is such a good series and I really enjoy reading them. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley.

Another great book from this author. It is getting closer and closer the the big fight. I am just about as nervous as the characters. I love Trinity's writing style as she really pulls you in to her books.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is one of the best series of books that I have ever read. I would like to see the end but at the same time I don't want the series to conclude. Shelly is a wolf shifter and is the mate to Bo, the Alpha of the big cat clan. She has a lot of insecurities and Bo's pack attacks her at every opportunity. The love Bo has for her is also shared with three other big cats who are to be her protectors and later her mates, Argo, White Eagle and Buck. The war against all the packs is getting closer and tension mounts. The story is very erotic and a great read. I would highly recommend this book along with any others in this series.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Shelly was being bullied by the members of the other packs.
Bo was trying to keep the peace, but He is only one alpha.
To protect his mate, he decided to create a "Reticon"
He added 3 more males to his extended family.
This way Shelly will have 4 mates instead of one.
Sign me up!
I loved the twist in this book.
I don't that it is the usual way of resolving an issue.
Bo was totally secure in his relationship w/ Shelly that he is the one that invited the other males to join in.
It was a very interesting solution.
I want to see what the author will do for the next book.

Previously titled A Christmas to Remember.

Shelly has been a reoccurring character since the first book. She is not a main character, but the sister of one of them and Bo is a brother of another. This books kind of ties up loose ends with her story.

I would have liked to have seen more emphasis on the problems Shelly was having with Bo's clan. They are mentioned and there are some altercations with his clan over their issues with her but I thought there should have been more "meat" to it if you will. There were just a few incidents and none seemed significant enough that Bo would call a Reticulon to protect her.

Overall a good story (the usual editing issues persist).
