I cannot really review this as I cannot see the illustrations only the quotes, some of which are quite good therefore I've given it 2*. I like the idea of this and will continue to look for it in the UK

This is an adult coloring book from Xist publishing, published 9th October, 2017. The illustrations are well done and printed on only one side, so they can be framed (or used as cards or for other papercrafts). The illustrations are not as intricate or busy as a lot of adult coloring books, which means 1)they're simpler to color, in case your hand eye coordination is suffering from partaking of a favorite vintage, 2)more time for drinking wine, and 3)the quotes have more of a central place in the art and don't get lost in the details.

The quotes run the gamut from silly, "Wine o'Clock" to gently profound, "Give me books, French wine, fruit, fine weather and a little music played out of doors by somebody I do not know". John Keats. Martin Luther, Shakespeare, Homer, Benjamin Franklin, Yeats, Baudelaire and several others also get pages in this collection. It's a very short book, 44 pages. It would make a nice gift for a wine lover along with a good bottle of wine and some gourmet nibbles.

It is an interesting concept for a colouring book, and one that many women may be interested in. The quotes chosen were interesting, and well chosen, and seemed to fit the pictures well. There was an appropriate number of pages given, and I liked that the pages were blank on the other side of the drawing so that they could be removed and coloured later, or hung up. A few even seemed interesting enough that I thought they could be traced over and used for other projects like embroidery or window painting if someone wished. The only problem I had with it, is that the pictures were overly simple, and many left a large amount of blank space. The last three or so were more complex, and more what I would expect from an adult colouring book, while others appeared to be as simple as clip art. To utilize the blank space, maybe questions or suggestions could be added for the reader to draw out ideas related to wine, like friends, or vineyards on top of the pictures. This would be an appropriate gift for a friend at Christmas or for a party, but I would expect it to retail for less than $10 due to the simplicity of the images and the quick time it would take to complete.

Yes, I am reviewing an adult coloring book. Before sitting down to write this, I was not a hundred percent sure how to go about it. It is a coloring book, after all. Then I realized that it does exactly what it is meant to do. It is a way to relax and escape for a bit and that is very welcome these days.

Wine Not? (Title is so long!) by Xist Publishing is a beautiful book and I adore the concept. Fantastic pictures paired up with classic quotes. What is not to love? The detailing is lovely and the book would give people a decent amount of unwinding time.

It is very well executed. I am giving it Five Stars because of these reasons. I would definitely recommend it and may even buy some copies of it for people I know.

I liked most of the art, but to be honest some of it looked too simple (like clip art). I think adding the quotes upped the quality of this book and made it more interesting. Either way this would be a fun gift for someone who enjoys wine

This book is full of different wine quotes and illustrations to colour. Would make a great present for the wine lover in your life or crafty friend who is looking for something a bit different or alternatively to frame and use as kitchen art once finished,

I counted 21 different illustrations to colour in total each with a different quote. Some of the illustrations resemble zentangles, others are far more simple.

I only gave three stars as some designs are very basic and look like they have been put there as 'fillers.There are some lovely designs in here though and I am sure there is something for everyone.

I know many wine lovers that will be fascinated by this little coloring book. The pictures and quotes are right on target. I can even envision some of these pages getting framed upon completion. If you like to color, with a glass of wine on hand, this book is for you.

A funny yet inspiring way to appeal to adults that both like wine and colouring. Some of the quotes are also great enough to keep your mind busy while finishing your colouring or just considering the next wine which matches your food or mood. A perfect way to relax and enjoy meaningfully your free time!
