This is a fascinating and different story than I've ever read. It's a story of self discovery, freedom, adventure, loss, uncertainty, and friendship. While those could all apply to many 18-year-old women, it's especially significant to Clementine, the sole survivor of a plane crash that has left her with amnesia. The life that she discovers in the days and weeks after her rebirth, as she calls it, made it hard for me to put the book down. I cringed at her mistakes, applauded her victories, and felt her moments of both courage and self-doubt. This book moves at a good pace, with some unexpected reveals at the end. I really enjoyed this book and will look for more from the author. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was a short and sweet story that had me finished in three days. I requested it because sometimes amnesia/re-discovery stories are a whole other level of fun (like Sophie Kinsella's version), but really the Irish connection is what sold me. This book was mostly what I expected, with there being a HUGE theme of who am I? That's not me. I don't know what I want. Etc. etc. etc. The romance that inevitably came was quite feel good and believable. I did get a little annoyed with Clementine/Jane, simply because the girl really wasn't thinking things through at time. Like, she should have been worried about somethings more and not cared about others, but I believe that to be a personal choice. The best part of the book was the end, with the big reveals. These came as quite twisty and o-m-g, so I greatly appreciated that. Kept me guessing until the end.

The title is what attracted me to this novel. I expected a story of depth, personal growth and (most of all) hope. To lose one's identity is a terrifying concept and I looked forward to seeing how the subject was handled in the story. The opening had me believing I was correct. I enjoyed the author's references and I felt she did a great job initially portraying the loss. I enjoyed the character of Nurse Stephen who took Clementine under his wing while in the hospital. The writing flowed well and read easily. The author's character development was adequate. To avoid spoilers, I will simply say that I felt the story entered into the realm of unrealistic once Clementine left the hospital. Then again, I read for entertainment and not realism. While this book is not what I expected, I did find it pleasant. This novel (romance and chic lit) is not the type of book I tend to enjoy Still, it is a light, easy read with likeable characters. The ending did have a twist of sorts. It is enjoyable, reads quickly and ties all the loose ends up with a happy ending.

This was a very cute story! Our main character Clementine Haas wakes up in an Irish hospital with complete amnesia and is told that she is the sole survivor of a plane crash. This story takes place in Waterville, Ireland where Clementine is trying to discover the truth about her identity. Dealing with such as heavy topic I was expecting this book to be somewhat melancholy. But, this book has phenomenal comic relief. I enjoyed the relationships Clementine made outside of her romantic interest. I felt that this really deepened the story and enhanced her character development. The pacing of this book is very laid back and I little slow at times. Whenever something did happen, I felt it was a little repetitive. However, I did really enjoy the mystery element to the story. Overall, I enjoyed getting to know these characters and experiencing the small town of Waterville, Ireland.

I loved the premise of this book. Lone survivor in a plane crash. Amnesia in a foreign country. Re-discovering who you are while in Ireland. Cute love interest. I read this book in 2 sittings because I just could put it down. I loved all the characters, but Clive was my favorite! I just really wish it was a TAD bit longer so that things didn’t have to get tied up so quickly at the end.

While not really what I would consider a YA book, this book would be appropriate for upper high school readers. It would appeal far more to females than males, for sure. As a reader, I really enjoyed the story and liked the twists towards the end. The characters were likable and strong and the story moved at a good pace. Thank you!

Five stars and here’s why:
Major book hangover. I devoured it in one day. There’s a plane crash and Clementine can’t recall a thing – including her name, so she goes by Jane. Clearly, there’s more to this plane crash than the doctors are telling her. And that’s where the mystery starts to take hold. Jane shuns her father in the hospital because she has no clue who he is or who she is for that matter. She runs into and takes off with a cute boy, Kieran, and goes to his family’s place and that’s when I got hooked. There’s a great twist to the story that’ll make you gasp out loud. Totally shirked my responsibilities to keep on reading about our heroine, why she was on the flight to begin with, and what will happen to her and Kieran. Please note that this story is on the older side of the YA spectrum, as the characters and situations are more mature than many you’d find in this genre.
If you love fast-paced writing, an intriguing concept, a fantastic setting, and super interesting characters like a hella-hot Irish guy and a savvy girl wrapped in a compelling mystery, this book is for you. Be prepared to devote your day until you finish the book. Highly recommend.

What a whirlwind of a book. So much happened and that ending. THAT ENDING. It got to me. While it took a little bit of time to get into, about 25% through I was hooked. I devoured this novel in one night and couldn’t put it down. This book has everything.
Plane Crash? Check.
Amnesia? Check.
Girl tries to figure out who she is and meets a cute boy? Check.
At first, I didn't really care for the characters and was only interested in the mystery. Because you know, there is something about that plane crash that the doctors didn't tell our girl "Jane." But as the plot progressed and I got more invested in the characters, I started getting invested. Like yelling and squealing and gasping at these characters. If you're like me and have a hard time getting into this book, I would recommend sticking it out because the end result is so worth it.
If you’re looking for a quick contemporary read, I would pick this up.

Overall a super cute book, I really enjoyed all of the characters. I would say this is a book geared at older teens or higher just because there is some sexual content but not explicit or a ton of it at all. Just enough to make you realize the feels are real. I liked how the ending explained so many things. The main characters were likeable even when they were being difficult. There was a vast array of different personalities. My only fault with the book which is why it was four not five stars is I wish the ending wouldn't have been quite so quick. I get that because of life statuses they were able to but sometimes more explanation is better.
Read this book, super cute.

I loved where this book took place. It has been a wish of mine for some time to visit Ireland. It was an emotional read as "Jane" was on the path to discover herself. There was a mild twist to the romance. Altogether it worked for a good read.
