I loved em and Sanchez. So when I saw the chance to get Miller and Kins's story for free in exchange for an honest review. I had to take it and I was not disappointed.

Kinsley is used to her over bearing brother. However there are times she pushes and is able to get some freedom. Sleeping with his best friend and teammate may not be the best of choices but Miller gets her or does he?

Miller has his own set of issues and losing his girl to his friend and teammate sucks. His attraction to Kinsley is something he never expected and well things are going to get Interesting.

Both have secrets and parts of their parts that have shaped them into what they are today. A lot of insecurities and well being together isn't gonna be easy when you have Jax around. Loved this one and hope there is more.

After reading Fraternize (Players Game #1), I couldn't wait to read the sequel Infraction. I absolutely adored book one and the anticipation was driving me mad. With Fraternize, Rachel Van Dyken managed to write an amazing sports romance that impressed me with its unique plot and execution. Infraction had big shoes to fill.

And luckily for me, it did!!!

With Infraction, RVD delivered a book that was equally funny and sexy, but what I was not expecting was the emotional depth of the story and it’s cast of characters. The author really dug deep and wrote a story from the heart. I'm not ashamed to admit that I had tears in my eyes by the end of the story - a true tearjerker, especially since I didn't expect it. BRAVO!!!

In Infraction, it's not just about finding the love of your life. It's about family, blood related or not, friends and how they stick together through thick and thin. I was blown away by the all consuming love that literally jumped off the pages. This book was about so much more than just one couple falling in love. I fell in love with the entire cast, and the author could not have done a better job. Kudos, Ms. Van Dyken!

After reading Miller, Emerson, and Sanchez's story in book one I couldn't wait to see how Miller's story would continue. He was a main character in Fraternize and his charm and personality made him a huge favorite of mine. I can say with utter conviction, he topped my expectations by leaps and bounds. He was someone I could easily fall in love with.

Miller is such an amazing character.

From the gentlemanly way he treated Kinsley, to the camaraderie that he had with Jax and Sanchez, a bromance for the ages - Miller stood out like a beacon. His steadfast personality, and self-assured demeanor was what Kinsley needed most. Someone to stand by her side, to stay his ground, in a supportive as well as confident manner. He is a great guy; amazing through and through!

Kinsley on the other hand was one tough cookie. Strong-willed, a survivor, but also a younger sister to an overly overprotective older brother, Jax, she managed to elbow her way through tough times and come out stronger on the other side. Her engaging and lovable attitude matched Miller's teasing and charming personality. Whenever they were together, their chemistry was undeniably palpable. It’s no secret they belong together.

Besides the amazing couple that Miller and Kinsley are, the author gifted us with the hilarious and heartwarming story of Jax finding his better half. Infraction, honestly was stuffed full of all things cute, funny and sexy. The deep and genuine friendships between the cast speaks for itself. So much laughing and teasing and all-around love. The sassy and amusing dialogues were just a small example of RVD's signature wit. She has a true and rare talent to bring out the best in her characters. I immediately connected with them and wanted to call them friends.

Most surprising, Infraction made me cry.

I didn’t cry buckets, but shed tears nonetheless. Throughout the book I ached for Kinsley and Jax on more than one occasion. I was truly affected by the way the author spun this emotionally touching story that will stay with me for a very long time.

Infraction is perfectly balanced. It’s romantic, sexy and funny, and it has the right amount of heart-ache to pull on my heart-strings— for me to feel an emotional connection. At this point I can, with all honesty, say that Infraction was even better than Fraternize. The emotional punch and the never-ending love between the cast made this book soar and touch my heart.

This is a great read. I couldn't put down it was so good. Infraction had a little of everything, sweet romantic moment, hilarious moments, and some very sad moments. I laughed and cried while reading this story. I enjoyed the two main charahcters, Miller and Kinsey. However enjoyed Jax and Harley, also. I would highly recommend this book.

WOW! I was so excited to get more of Miller! I loved him in the first book and was so happy we were getting his story. Kinsey is a spitfire cheerleader and completely off limits. Her brother Jax is fiercely protective. When a new player is brought onto the team Jax makes a decision that ends up effecting everyone. The chemistry between Miller and Kinsey is undeniable. I thought I knew where this book was headed but it has so many levels and i was thrown in deeper then I could have ever predicted. There was a moment i literally had to stop reading and get myself together. The dialogue is chapter 25 struck a chord with me and was pure perfection.

Of course there are those lines I always expect of a Van Dyken book. I like to call them “Rachelisms” they always make me pause and hit the highlight button. Lines like:

“he was like an emotional terrorist who bombed your heart only to tell you that you’d have to leave the country to find a hospital big enough to fix it”

All the characters in this series are special. I can’t get enough. Each time a new character is introduced I find myself hoping they will get their own book. I laughed, I cried and I changed my mind yet again as to who my favorite player is. I am totally ready and hoping for more Jax now.

On a side note:
Parts of this book touched my heart. It has some raw emotion that only someone in touch and aware of the human spirit would be able to put in written form. It is this type of writing that keeps me coming back for more and has forever made me a RVD fan.

Infraction is book two in the Players Game series. It can be read as a stand-alone but reading Fraternize (book #1) will give you a better view of the characters and their personalities.

At the end of Fraternize, The Bellevue Bucks had won the super bowl and decided to party it up in Vegas. Well, what happens in Vegas ends up with Miller and Kinsey in bed….. This hilarious Epilogue sets the scene for Infraction.

Miller Quinton and Jax Romonov play Pro football for the Bellevue Bucks. They are team mates and best friends. Both men have so many issues, they need a magazine rack to fit them all! Miller fears getting close to anyone after losing his mom at a young age. Jax feels as though he must protect everyone, especially his sister Kinsey. He is extreme and serious in his need to protect those that he loves. There are reasons for this but I won’t tell them and spoil the story for anyone!

The guy was either psychotic or just really took his sister’s sex life way too seriously – or both.

Being the control freak protector, Jax asks Miller to “fake” date his sister because of a situation involving another team mate. He trusts Miller so it’s a no-brainer. Ah, but at the beginning of this review I mentioned that little incident in Vegas….

Kinsey. The one girl that was off-limits- the one girl I couldn’t seem to get enough of.

Miller and Kinsey struggle with many things. They are attracted to each other but feel as though they can’t or aren’t supposed to act on it. Throw in the fact that they have been good friends and it really muddies the water. Kinsey struggles with her own insecurities and she feels like Miller is ‘obligated’ to carry on the fake dating. But things don’t always go as planned….

Miller and Kinsey have great chemistry and funny banter. They have so many layers of emotions and loss. They were once good friends. Expect the unexpected!

There is a lot going on in this story. There are a few side stories. And also many funny scenes. But there are also serious issues that are also addressed. Love, loss, disappointment, coping and abuse are a few.

I am enjoying the series and look forward to Jax’s story next! Can’t wait to see how control freak, protective Jax deals with the changes that are coming in his life! Jax and Harley. Now that is gonna be quite the story!

After finishing Fraternize, my heart was broken for Miller and I couldn’t wait to find out who put it back together! It did not disappoint!

This series is so great in so many ways. They are not just stories of football players falling in love with cheerleaders. They are about real life. They are problems and emotions that we can all relate to. We’ve all lost someone close to us. This was a very emotional book and I ugly cried more times than I’d care to admit out-loud.

Miller and Kinsey’s relationship is everything! It’s full of hot chemistry and powerful feelings. Their love story is a hard one to not believe in and fall head over cleats for. The complexity of their friends and family make the road bumpy but watching them overcome the obstacles was beautiful in every way.

I love the pace of this story. It was hard to put it down straight from the prologue all the way through the epilogue. This book has all of my favorite things wrapped up with a bow -- sports, lust, love, the protective brother, friendship, loss, family, and healing.

You need to read this book. Grab it now! If you haven’t read the first book, Fraternize I highly recommend you read it first. You’ll enjoy it too! I promise!!

P.S. I really love that we got to see Jax find his happy ever after right along with Kinsey and Miller. I hope one day he gets a book of his own. I love him!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy from NetGalley and the publisher, to honestly review.

This is the second book in this awesome series and it covers 2 of my favourite genres, sports and best friends sister. This book made me laugh and it made me sob! I love and devoured each and every word.

This book covered a very hard topic and it did it in such a beautiful way with emotion and humour. Having gone through this myself I found this book covered this topic well and brought the feels out that was so raw and emotional and real.

This book wasn't only Kinsey and Millers story but its also Jax and Harley's so you get two awesome couples that you love to cheer for!. I fell in love with Miller in book 1 Fraternize but I knew that Em was better suited for Sanchez so I was very happy to have him finally get his girl and Kinsey was the best match for him. I also loved Jax too, he was always the serious one, the thinker so I really was looking forward to meeting the woman who would knock him on his knees and I couldn't love Harley more!

I am looking forward to seeing what happenes next with this series, I do hope there is more deliciousness with the Bellevue Bucks!

Reviewed on behalf of The Book Boyfriend Addict (www.bookboyfriendaddict.com). A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.

I had beautiful women surrounding me on a daily basis, but for some reason, this one, this off-limits little firecracker—had me.

Quinton Miller may not have gotten the girl he thought he was meant to be with but what he did get was one hot night with Kinsey Romonov, his QB, Jax’s, very off-limits sister. Things may not have ended well for them after that night but when Jax asks Miller to fake date his sister in order to protect her from her horrible ex it may be the opportunity he needs in order to make things right with the woman he couldn’t stop thinking about – even if he is risking the wrath of Jax if he ever finds out what happened that night in Vegas. Jax is only one of the many obstacles standing between them and a happily ever after – ex’s, secrets, and loss all threaten to tear them apart before they even get a real chance at starting.

“Maybe I just want to savor you.”
Tears filled my eyes. “You say things like that, and I may just get attached to you, Quinton Miller.”
“That’s kind of the point, Kinsey Romonov.”

This book picks up right where Fraternize leaves off and while it technically can read as a standalone, I would recommend reading them in order because the first book is where you really get Miller’s backstory and it’ll really help you better understand what’s going on in this book. After reading Fraternize and seeing how that all turned out, I was looking forward to this book because I really liked Miller and felt bad for him with how everything turned out. I liked the idea of him and Kinsey and for the most part, I really enjoyed them together, they definitely had great chemistry. I found myself annoyed sometimes with Kinsey, it was clear she’d always been coddled and I appreciated her wanting to be allowed to live her own life, but then she would do something where she’d practically admit she could never handle life on her own and it basically negated her desire for independence. When she would have one of her rare strong moments, though, I did like her and I was rooting for her and Miller.

If you’ve read Fraternize then you already know how overprotective Jax was when it came to Kinsey, so it was no surprise that he would have such a big role in this book. But it was surprising to see several chapters from his POV, it almost read like a novella within a novel and I wonder if that was just a way to give him a love interest without actually giving him a book. I guess time will tell on that. I will say, I was a little weirded out over the level of Jax’s protectiveness over Kinsey at times and that made me sad because I really liked his character and didn’t want to feel that way. I don’t think it was RVD’s intention to make readers feel that way either, but that’s just how it came off to me. It isn’t until pretty late in the book that we get an explanation that does help some, but I just wish that aspect had been toned down some. I think she could have made the same point without it being so over the top.

I don’t mean to sound negative because really I did enjoy most of this book and there were some delightfully emotional parts that were really unexpected. Plus we got to see Emerson and Sanchez, and if you’ve read the first book, you know how much fun that is! I really do like this group and was glad about how everything turned out, there were just some bumpy parts that I had to get through in order to get there.

With a chuckle, I pressed a kiss against her mouth and whispered, “I never stood a fucking chance, did I?”
“Never.”

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Well, this was a story I was definitely looking forward to Reading. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen between Miller and Kinsey and I wasn’t disappointed.

This books is not just about their story though, we get to see a bit of what’s going on with Jax and realize his life hasn’t been as easy as people think. He shares a secret with Kensey that ties them together and this book uncovers that one and a lot more.

Miller is strong and fearless when it comes to football but he has been abandoned by the two most important people in his life, and now he is scared, so he runs. After their first time together he can’t seem to find another way of fixing things than to send her away and break her heart in the process.

Now that she is back and they get stuck into this weird situation there’s no avoiding her.
Kensey is sure of one thing, she can’t resist him, there’s just something about him that calls to her on a deeper level; and things get complicated once he decides he can’t resist her either.

But she is afraid of letting her brother down, and we can’t understand the relationship till they share their darkest secrets.

The book was full of fun moments; these characters are just amazing and hilarious. We also get to see them vulnerable and hurt by life. The whole thing with the kid in the hospital and the dream just brought me to my knees, I cried on my kindle like a little girl.

A really fun and beautiful story.

4.5 Stars for book 2 in the Players Game Series and what a great follow up to Fraternize. This is a great series that has the perfect mix of love and humour and lets be honest Rachel Van Dyken certainly knows how to give us stories and characters to fall in love with. A love story with many hurdles to cross, over protective brothers, teammates plus a few secrets from their pasts, will Miller and Kensey be strong enough, will their love be strong enough to get past it all, will true love win in the end, guess you need to read the book to find that out. Once again another book from RVD that captivated me and had me up half the night reading because I wasn’t going to put this baby down without knowing the ending, looking forward to more in The Players Game Series.

Feels... All the feels came with this book. Where Fraternize was funny and sweet, Infraction was sweet and emotional. The characters were completely lovable and funny and all shared strong bonds (teammates, friends, lovers, family) that molded them as individuals and as a group. Their interconnected ties created some of the strongest and sometimes tested relationships that had them coming out the other side only stronger that before.

In this story Rachel Van Dyken gives us more character perspectives with a much bigger story and love is in the air on that football field. The brotherhood these players have and the friendships they've formed...it was all just magic to feel and then the love relationships that grew was absolute icing on the cake.

Where Fraternize had me laughing and swooning, Infraction had me laughing, swooning and crying. I was put through every emotional gamut possible and would willfully go through that roller coaster all over again. This was such a fantastic read!

I’ve been anxiously waiting for this book. So when I jumped in, something wasn’t right. I’m not sure what it was but something didn’t click with me. Was there emotion? Yep. Sexy time? Yep again. Conflict? Oh yeah.

To be honest, I’m thinking that the behavior of Jax turned me off. Heck, all of them are adults but we’re acting so juvenile. But I wanted to wring Jax’s throat. I know why he behaved like that but it was driving me crazy.

That being said, I enjoyed the last half of the book way more than the first. New beginnings and sad endings. This is where the emotions came in. This is my happy place.

Read so many books with same plot line that I could not believe this author (whom I adore) went with brother's trusted best friend who falls for friends little sister. Story was well written but I fell asleep at the storyline.

Fraternize was one of the best sports romances I read in 2017. So naturally I couldn't wait to get my hands on Infraction. In Fraternize we were introduced to an addictive cast of characters that I just couldn't get enough of. Infraction brings us back to that same cast of characters. However, this time it’s Kinsey and Miller at the center of the story.

Infraction was a lot heavier than I had been anticipating. If you are looking for a romance novel that has you everywhere from laughing to crying than this is the romance for you. Kinsey and Miller’s story is one filled with so much emotion that it left me thinking about them long after I’d finished the book. We also get to catch up with Kinsey’s brother Jax and even get to see a romance develop for him! I’m hoping we get to see more of his story in future books.

My only criticism for this one was the fact that there were times Miller’s portions of the story seemed to get a tad repetitive. I love that we got to catch up with Em and Sanchez. I also really enjoyed how much both Kinsey and Miller developed over the course of their story. This was an absolutely adorable read to start of the New Year! I’m hoping to see more from this series in the future!

Rachel has once again wrote a phenomenal book. I didn’t want to put it down. At one point I had tears running down my face. Miller is the best and Kinsey is just so innocent. Love them two together. Must read book and series. Now...Bring on Jax.

5 Stars

I laughed, I cried and I laughed some more. This book had ALL the feels and I just couldn’t put it down. As with any Rachel Van Dyken she knows how to reel you in and keep you there till the very end. You don’t know how to feel, cause you’re upset you finished but you couldn’t stop cause you had to know....so as always a must read. Thank you as always Rachel for your amazing stories.
