Infraction is the second book in the Players Game series. It follows up Fraternize, but it can be read as a standalone. Infraction is the story of Miller, a tight end for the Bellevue Bucks, and Kinsey, a cheerleader, who is the Quarterback, Jax's, sister. Jax has always tried to protect his younger sister, but in doing so, he has had a tendency to be a little overbearing and overprotective. When Kinsey and Miller hooked up in Vegas seven months ago, they agreed to keep it a secret, knowing that Jax would freak if he knew his close friend hooked up with his younger sister. Kinsey has just returned from a trip to Europe, Jax's idea of protecting her by sending her away, and when she returns, she learns her life is about to be turned upside down. When Jax finds out Kinsey's abusive ex, Anderson, is trying out for the team, he forces Miller and Kinsey into a fake relationship to protect her, all without knowing the very real attraction between the two of them. Miller and Kinsey agree because they know how much stress Jax has been under, but they didn't know the full extent of why. Jax kept it from Kinsey while she was abroad, but now that she's back, he tells her that their father has cancer, and the prognosis isn't good. Kinsey and Miller try to keep things on a friendship level, but how long can that last with their history and the insane chemistry between them? How will Jax handle finding out that the only guy he trusts his sister with is actually the one falling for her? This story is full of hilarious banter and lots of sexual tension and chemistry. It's also full of heartbreak and loss and healing because of the storyline with Kinsey and Jax's dad.

Wow! Just wow! This book was full of such emotion, laughter, and love. My heart broke for Miller in the first book. Now he found his chance with Kinsey and Rachel didn’t disappoint. Good gosh! What more can you say about one of your favorite authors that book after book blows you away?! Rachel Van Dyken is exceptionally talented and creates characters and stories that always leaves me completely in awe. This book adds to the list of phenomenal stories I've read by this author.

I fell head over heels for Miller in Fraternize book one in the Players Game series. He's this big strong football player who has the biggest heart and is down right scrumptious. I needed Miller to have his HEA and his journey just felt so right. He still had issues to work through and a broken heart and Kinsey was absolutely perfect for him.

This book just gave me ALL the FEELS! I laughed, cried, swooned and swooned some more. I love how this author captures the emotions and delivers it page after page. Miller and Kinsey's journey was heartbreaking at times because of the situations they had to deal with but heartwarming to see the way their relationship progress.

As always with an RVD read the banter was hilarious and had me laughing out loud. I loved that we got to see some of Kinsey's brother, Jax, POV. He's a very crucial part of their journey and I loved how the author added him in. He's the over protective brother and the best friend and I loved that we got to see and feel his reasoning and love for his sister.

I enjoyed this story immensely. I love this author's writing and she delivers an amazing story with lots of laughs and sexy times.

Where do I even start with how phenomenal Infraction is? In Infraction Rachel Van Dyken brings Kinsey and Miller’s tale to light. After a secret night together Miller and Kinsley have spent the summer apart (not by choice). Now that Kinsey is back her brother Jax comes baring some news Kinsey’s ex Anderson is on the team and he wants’ Miller to be her fake boyfriend. Tension is in the air as Miller and Kinsey didn’t part of good terms, pretending to be together is going to be harder then hiding the fact from Jax that they have been hiding their night together. When family secrets arise it’s Miller that Kinsey turns to, will these two be able to see past the blurred lines of real and fake and of friendship and lovers. Wow seriously wow this book is amazing from the story line to the characters. Rachel Van Dyken draws her readers in and keeps them begging for more! The humor, banter and friend ship between the characters is priceless. Infraction is a rollercoaster of emotion, just when I was laughing one minute; Rachel goes and has me sobbing the next. Such a beautiful book; with powerful and lovable characters and a story line that will stay with you for a very long time. A must read for all romance lovers!

This is the second book in the series and is so freaking good! I couldn't put it down and was not expecting it to be so emotional. You get everything in this book humor, sweetness, emotional and sexy. Add the hot football players and Rachel Van Dyken has done it again! I cant recommend this book and series enough. You can't go wrong with anything by this author!!

AFter reading Fraternize I really wanted to read Miller’s story. I wanted him to get a HEA. I couldn’t get into this book at all and it felt like it took me forever to read it. I really liked Miller, he was sweet and charming. I wish he would have found someone other than Kinsey to hook up with. I found her to be immature and she was a total push over. It’s like she had no mind of her own and allowed everyone to make her decisions and walk all over her. Not to mention her over bearing, control freak of a brother Jax. Every scene with him had me wanting to hurl! He was utterly ridiculous hidding their dad’s illness and then telling her to get over it! I think Ms Van Dyken’s writting style is just not my cup of tea.

This is the second book in the series and it does not disappoint. We get so many emotions in just this one book. We get happy, sad, sexy and of course hot football players. This book has an amazing story line and so much more.

Infraction in the second book in the Players Game series, and if you even loved Miller a little bit in the first book you will be absolutely crazy about him in this book. Lucky for me, Miller was my favorite in the last book, so knowing this was his story and chance at a happy ending I was anxious to read it.

Miller is supposed to be keeping an eye on Kinsey for his teammate. What nobody expects is the friendship and feelings that develops between the two. Miller and Kinsey have a connection that will have you swooning, laughing, and maybe even crying. I loved every second of the story between Kinsey and Miller. The fact that Kinsey's overprotective brother Jax is Miller's teammate makes the story just that much more fun.

I can't wait to see what we get next, hopefully Jax will get his own story too.

This was such a great read and so many surprises! This one made me cry more than I expected! I loved Miller and Kinsey's story!

Miller and Kinsey kinda have a forbidden romance as in her brother is not okay with her dating a football player, until he is. But it's just for pretend, but what her brother doesn't know is that Miller and Kinsey have already slept together and the chemistry between the two of them is anything but fake.

Filled with secrecy, steam and heartache, this book had everything I never knew I needed!
I also liked that we got some of Jax's story, too! Looking forward to reading more!
4.5 stars!!

I have been waiting to see what was going to happen with Kinsey and Miller since the first book ended in Vegas. I liked Miller a lot in Fraternize and was super excited for him to get his own story.

I felt so bad for Kinsey to find out her Dad has cancer and that she was now fake dating Miller. She has an amazing story that I can’t talk about but am so touched by reading. This whole story has moments in it that make you feel.

Miller really hasn’t faced or come to terms yet with his true self. He does that in this book. He’s still his charming self but you see more of him when he’s with his friends this time around.

I just have to say Jax better get his own book! Well done Rachel. I hope we see Jax soon.

3.75 stars--INFRACTION is the second instalment in Rachel Van Dyken’s contemporary, adult PLAYERS GAME sports, romance series focusing on the men and women of the professional football team and their cheerleaders The Bellevue Bucks. This is the Bucks tight-end Miller Quinton, and head cheerleader Kinsey Romonov’s story line. Miller and Kinsey were first introduced in book one FRATERNIZE wherein Miller was part of a love triangle (of sorts) featuring his life long best friend Emerson Rodner, and fellow player Grant Sanchez. INFRACTION can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from three first person points of view (Kinsey, Miller, Jax Romonov) INFRACTION follows the friends to lovers, fake romance trope between Bellevue Bucks head cheerleader Kinsey Romonov, and tight end Miller Quinton. Months earlier, following a weekend in Vegas with Miller Quinton, Kinsey found herself forcibly sent to Europe to escape the return of her abusive ex –boyfriend Anderson. Seven months later, Kinsey’s return to America is met with some devastating news that will all but destroy her immediate family. Not only does her father have cancer but her abusive ex-boyfriend is now a member of the Bellevue Bucks. Enter Miller Quinton, Kinsey’s friend, and her brother Jax’s teammate, and the man with whom Kinsey will fall in love. To avoid further conflict with Kinsey’s ex, her brother and ‘America’s quarterback’ Jax Romonov offers up a plan to protect the sister he has always loved-a fake dating scenario between Miller and Kinsey-a hands off relationship that, unbeknownst to Jax, began months before.

The attraction between Kinsey and Miller is immediate but an attraction that must be both played up and played down in order to keep the demons at bay, and Jax from discovering the truth about their past relationship. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top sexually graphic, language and text.

A side relationship is developing between Jax Romonov and Kinsey’s friend, fitness model and yoga instructor Harley. Harley is a fiercely independent and brutally honest woman who has caught the eye of ‘America’s Quarterback’, an over-protective alpha male where it concerns his younger sister. Pulled in too many directions Jax struggles with the emotional fall out of his father’s illness, potential threats to his sister, and the fake relationship that isn’t fake-at all.

INFRACTION is a story of family and friendship; secrets and betrayal; falling in love and letting go of the past. The cancer story line is emotional and heart breaking-a heart break that furthers Jax’s spiral out of control. The premise is emotional and sexy; the romance is passionate and fated; the characters are colorful and charismatic.

Having not read the first in this series, I did not feel lost at all only feeling that I need to read book 1 ASAP. I loved these characters! This book had me laughing and crying throughout. Miller is asked by his best friend and teammate Jax to fake date his little sister Kinsey. Jax trusts Miller not to touch his sister never realizing they already had a night together months ago. As Miller protects Kinsey from her ex can he protect their feelings and hearts from getting hurt. This book had great banter that made the sad moments bearable. We learn a lot in this book while enjoying Sanchez, Emerson, Jax and his distraction Harley courtesy of Kinsey. Can't wait for the next read!

I love Rachel van Dyken and I usually devour her books but I skipped „Fraternize“ because of the triangle-vibe (I‘ll probably read it anyways someday but I have to be in the mood for such books ;) )
but I knew I wanted to read „Infraction“ immediately after reading the blurb.

Miller and Kinsey‘s story is sweet and tender and so enjoyable.
Typical Rachel book with loveable characters, funny banter and lots of swooning ♡

„Waffle, it‘s wrong to lie to your Chicken, you know that, right?“

And I loved the family dynamic, so heartwarming.
„He watches you, every movement. His hands aren‘t even at his side. He always seems like he‘s bracing for impact. I just don‘t know if he‘s waiting to run in the opposite direction, or into your arms.“

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Infraction is the second book in the Players Game series and picks up right where Fraternize left off, with Miller and Kinsey and their Vegas secret. It was so easy to get right back into this world with these characters. I was a little skeptical about this couple after the last book, but that was probably me just being bitter and stubborn. Here, I fell for them instantly and thought they were great together. I also loved that we got Jax’s POV. I loved me some Jax. But more so, the way the story is structured with the multiple points of view was different and refreshing. It was still a romance, but this made it seem like a true ensemble piece as well.

Overall, this was everything i love about and hope to get from Rachel Van Dyken’s books. It was so witty, the banter was fantastic, and it had me laughing out loud. There are some “interesting” situations and antics. Maybe a little cheesy at times, but definitely entertaining. And then there were the tough parts… even though this was a fun read, there were some really emotional parts. I may have shed a few tears toward the end…or a lot, but who’s keeping track?

All in all, a great read! 4 stars!

This is the second game in the Players Game series. This book could easily be read on a stand alone basis, however, I would personally recommend reading Fraternize first to aid the reading enjoyment of this book.

This was another great read from RVD and I really enjoyed this one. The story grabbed me right from the start and it held me captive until the end. It was full of romance, there was an air of mystery running through it, full of humour and as always there was that one moment that just packed such an emotional punch and can I say that I love that RVD is getting a little sexier with her books without it being too much.

Infraction was a really enjoyable read with a fab story and wonderful characters. 4.5 stars from me and a definite recommendation

Yay it is time for Miller's story and it is so good. A hot and tempting romance story about pretending to be someones boyfriend, even if that hot person is a sports star and a friend of your brothers. That ladies and gents only leads to serious sexual tension and emotions running high. But will either character survive the pit falls of pretending to be in a relationship if the emotions start to become more than pretend? You so need to read this book, and series, Miller is my fave so far from this series.

This is the second book from the Players Game series and follows Miller and Kinsey (with older, protective, Big Brother Jax thrown in). Jax asks fellow teammate Miller to "fake date" his little sister and team cheerleader to help ward off other men. Unknowingly to Jax, Miller and Kinsey "hooked up" months before. This is the classic friend and little sister story, however the way Rachel writes the book it will have you laughing as well as crying. You get multiple points-of-view from the characters to help you fully become involved in the story. I very much recommend this book.

Infraction by Rachel Van Dyken was one sweet, sexy and beautiful romance done right. Van Dyken truly captured the connection between Miller and Kinsey. Their chemistry was tangible and palpable but Miller is very well aware that they must keep their relationship a secret from Jax, who is Kinsey’s older brother. And so when Miller and Kinsey have to keep their relationship a secret, what happens when the truth is revealed?

Fun, sexy, heartwarming and had an emotional pull to keep readers entertained and drawn to RVD’s writing and characters. Infraction is an example of best-friends little sister romance done right with all the feels to keep you smiling and wanting more.
