Wiping the tears away as I write this one, Wow did Infraction get me. Rachel Van Dyken has me crying both sad and happy tears. That is a very good thing. I liked Fraternize (book 1) but Infraction is just amazing. I love this book. You get Jax, Kinsey and Miller as the main focus in this one but still have Emerson and Sanchez too. So yes the gangs all back and wow does the chemistry just sizzle between Miller and Kinsey. I love how Jax is so protecting of his sister Kinsey. And its amazing to see all these big football players to fall in love. Rachel Van Dyken did an amazing job and really left me a bit speechless with this one. This is a must read book and series for all you football loving readers out there.

If I had to describe Infraction in one word it would be PERFECT. This book was such a fantastic read giving us more of the characters we have come to love from reading the first book in the series. Even if you haven't read the first book in this series, you will still fall in love with these characters and their story, making you want to grab and read the first book as soon as possible. This book gives us Miller and Kinsey's story and what a story it is. The attraction and chemistry between these two was undeniable and irresistible. Their story truly gives readers all the FEELS, we want when reading a book. My heart raced, I laughed, I had tears and I ended this story with the biggest smile on my face possible. I enjoyed every character in this book and truly enjoyed the moments with Kinsey's driving and Harley's grandmother. However, the moment that truly touched my heart happened in the hospital and once readers read this book they will know the two moments I'm talking about. This is a story of love, loss, brotherhood, friendships, forgiveness, strength and most importantly family. I highly recommend this book to all readers. THIS BOOK DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I definitely can't wait to see what story this author comes out with next because it will definitely be on my to read list.

Took me a while to finish this book. I just did not like the book enough to give a higher rating. It might have something to do with the fact I never read book 1. The story for me was not romantic enough and it seemed more about others than Miller and Kinsey.

The writing was good, but the storyline just not my taste.

I received an ARC from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

So this is the second in this series, and we have Miller's story, with Kinsey. Kinsey is head cheerleader, she is also Jax's little sister and Em's friend. There story is complicated, Miller is still getting over Em, and now he is going to play Kinsey's boyfriend as a favor to Jax, but what Jax doesn't know is that Miller and Kinsey are attracted to each other, and had spent a night together, and now they have to keep it under wraps. There is more issues involved beside hiding from Jax, and heartache..we also have new characters in the mix..never dull my friends.

An exceptional and emotional rollercoaster ride! What I'd expected to be a typical football story with an alpha ball player and the woman who was to make him a better form of himself, was anything but that. There is so much heart in this story that you can't help but find yourself with a lump in your throat and tears in your eyes.

There are life lessons threaded throughout, but written in such a way that they give the story substance and perhaps will speak to you, as they did to me. I've read so many of Ms Van Dyken's books, each I've enjoyed, but this one though has left an impact that will not be easily forgotten. To balance out the emotional is the hilarity delivered by Sanchez...he is the king of quips and one liners. He brought the light to the darkness that otherwise could have overtaken the story, his comedic timing was pitch perfect.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

This was a quick read for me and that's because it was so good!

I loved the first book and was totally torn between both guys! I love them both! I felt so bad for the H who was left behind (don't want to mention any names so as not to spoil it for those who haven't read book 1 yet). And the H that did get the girl in book 1, well he just makes me smile like all the time! Grinning like crazy.....like a big idiot! Lol!

The h in this book was perfectly capable of handling this H I loved how it all played out.

Seriously, these people are real and I love their football "family"! When they would all get together, their reactions and comments made me laugh! I could picture sitting in the room with them it was so reall!

Great series.... and SOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT ONE!

I received an ARC of this book for free by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Wow! I LOVED this book. I actually am torn between giving it 4.5 stars or 5 stars, but after thinking about it I have to give it a 4.5 star rating. This book was not just a light hearted one, but one that made you feel for the main characters. It had real problems and reminded me of Rachel’s other series Ruin. In Franternize we ended with Miller and Kinsey in a compromising position. This book starts a few minutes after that and the outcome of what happens. Kinsey’s ex is playing football with the Bucks and Kinsey’s overprotective big brother decides that Miller and Kinsey should start fake dating. The only problem is that there are real feelings and heartbreak between Kinsey and Miller.

This book would have been a solid 5, no questions asked, had the book just focused on Kinsey and Miller. Instead we had a splatter of Jax’s P.O.V (Kinsey’s over protective older brother) and his new relationship. I think Rachel should have given Jax his own book with him meeting Harley and the build up of their relationship. Maybe she will add another book that focuses more on Jax and Harley, but I felt it was a little awkward switching between the two relationships and that it took away from Miller’s and Kinsey’s relationship.

Without spoiling the book I wish there were things that Kinsey would have done and elaborated more, especially concerning her past.

I ALMOST made it to the end of the book without crying, but at 93% I started. There were many touching and heartbreaking scenes.

I truly enjoyed this book more than the first one. There were still scenes with Sanchez and Em . The characters and friendships still shone through this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance books, sports or reading.

Overall, I hope there are more books in this series and Rachel is still one of my favorite authors.

It was a bit and miss. I thought their reason for dating was just silly but I liked the wider story a lot.

It's not a stand alone book, I hadn't read the first book so I didn't really understand quite a bit of Miller's story you need to read the first book for that. The writing style is good and I liked the characters

Kinsey is the younger sister of Jax, one of football’s star quarterbacks, and is off-limits to his teammates. So when someone from Kinsey’s past comes back to haunt her, her brother gets the bright idea to have Miller, his teammate, pretend to be her boyfriend, not knowing that the two of them hooked up months prior. But a bad relationship isn’t all Jax is trying to protect her from. When she finds out the truth she’s going to need a shoulder to cry on; she just might lean a little harder on Miller than Jax had in mind, causing a rift in the relationship between the teammates themselves.

Like all of Van Dyken’s books, I was hooked from the first page. I loved the characters, including the supporting cast, and the love and banter between them helped to bring a lightness to some of the more somber themes of the book. Miller was swoon worthy with a capital S and I liked the strength of Kinsey’s character. Kinsey’s relationship with her brother reflected a lot of sibling relationships, right down to the need to be independent. The chemistry, fueled by the secret nature of their relationship, is off the charts.

I have not read the first book in the series (it is now on my TBR) and I didn’t feel as though I missed a whole lot having not done so. I’ll definitely go back so that I can read a little more of the depth of the friendship between Miller and Em, however I really did enjoy this story. My biggest complaint though was just how much of a voice Jax had within the story. It is told in multiple, first person, points of view from Kinsey, Miller, and Jax’s points of view, and while Jax’s voice does lend some insight into Kinsey and Miller’s histories and relationship, it seemed as though it just served to better set him up for the next book in the series. I would have liked to have more Kinsey and Miller. I’m looking forward to Jax and Harley’s story! (Wait, there WILL be Jax & Harley’s story right?)

Infarction by Rachel Van Dyke a winning five-star read. This is my second book by this author, I have previously read Fraternize and loved the characters so I was so glad to see this book come out. I am familiar with several stories in this book, as I have an over protective brother and the family and health stories have also touched my heart. I loved the fake relationship in public and trying to not be affected by the whole Vegas thing as we all know what happens in Vegas stays there, doesn’t it?
For a story essentially about football players and cheerleaders this was a great story filled with care, passion and bonds that show they can never be broken if they are strong enough. Well done Rachel Van Dyke on a very well written and compelling read.

Where do I start with all this crazy?!.

This book has left me an emotional mess. That ending was tough.

Infraction is the second addition to Rachel Van Dykens A Players Game series. A sports romance with a little twist. This book is a freaking journey. And emotional rollercoaster that will have you laughing till you cry one minute and sobbing till your eyes dry up the next. It's gives you hope, love and all that soppy romance goodness us bookish lovers crave. It's comes with baggage and bittersweet heartbreak. It's has perfectly imperfect characters that are equally frustrating as they are lovable. A story that sucks you in and spits you back out rung dry and emotionally exhausted. The storyline is set out at a nice pace.. it's raw with the emotional capacity to make you feel their pain, relate to their problems and love them regardless of their flaws.
I like the change up of POV's it's nice to have not only the main characters perspectives but others too giving you a better understanding of that character and the reasoning behind their actions.

Chicken waffle are my favourite couple in a hot minute!.
Miller and Kinsey perfectly balanced eachother. Their banter was on point at all times and I lost count of the amount of times I laughed till my eyes leaked. They both had their own kind of fucked up going on with plenty of skeletons in their closet. They healed eachother .. not right away. It took time and a few fuck ups but they got there. Their chemistry was on point with a smoking hot slow burn at the start just to build up the anticipation.. let me tell you they did not disappoint.

That ending broke me. I cried for a good 10 minutes and not the cute kind... no I'm talking about full blown sobbing ugly face running nose kinda deal that has your partner just walking out the room cause he can't deal with the blubbering mess that is me..LOL!.

I loved it. Seriously it was just what I needed after my crazy re-readathon of old books. Rachel pulled this out the bag with a seamlessly written story filled with humour, love and heartbreak. It's a rollercoaster but one I loved. I can recommend enough.

I kindly received this ARC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you think you're getting "just another sports romance" with Infraction; think again. Rachel Van Dyken delivers an emotional rollercoaster with the fictional world of the Bellevue Bucks - and their star tight end Quinton Miller. It's a tale of best friend falling for best friend's sister but with angst, pain, and a whole lot of steam. I thought I was getting a fun, lighthearted, easy read. Flag down!! RVD made me ugly cry. Definitely not what I was expecting - but so very glad I received it. With it's comedic timing, well written supporting cast of characters, and a horny grandmother - you'll laugh, cheer, and yes probably even cry. Rachel Van Dyken scores with Infraction and it's the best end zone dance I've seen since Tweeter from Varsity Blues.

Oh, My Stars!!! Where do I begin? Rachel's writing skills keep improving, when you think she has reached her peak she writes another book they surpass the one before! She made me fall for Miller in book 1, but book 2 I was head over heels! This book had it all comedy, romance and everything in between!

I really did not like the first book in this series, but this one was pretty sweet. I loved Kinsey and Miller won me over in the first book. I like that there's some obstacles to overcome, but for most of the book, the main characters like each other and enjoy being together. Really enjoyed this one, possibly enough to give some of the author's other books a try.

I knew I was going to enjoy this book but I didn't realize it would hit me as hard as it did. This is going to be on my top books of the year list for 2018 and it isn't even 2018 yet. The story gutted me and then at the same time healed me.

I never really did pick a "team" in book one. I liked both of the guys and I just couldn't pick one. After reading this one I know that these guys are with the right woman. I was very happy to see the bit of a side story we got in this book. I think that helped round the story out and made this book so much more then it already is.

The last 10-15% of this book. WOW. Just WOW. That was just...I have no words for what that was. Rachel you really out did yourself with this book.

I don't know if there is going to be a 3rd book but if there is I can't wait to see where the series goes from here.
