Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy of this in exchange for an honest review but, if I am being truly honest as the agreement states, this book just wasn't good. The characters were cliché, the romance was meh, the conflicts were ridiculous and the entire description of the fashion industry showed that the author had no clue what she was talking about. When I think of fashion-romance, I want something glamorous and sexy and scandalous - exclusive VIP parties, affairs and cocaine. A little look-see into the industry as it were (because until I am able to afford a nose job, it is one in which I will never gain access to). Simply, I want a version of The Devil Wears Prada in which Andie ends up with the writer instead of her douchey boyfriend (his birthday, really?). This was not that.

This was a very long book. I did finish but it took awhile to get into the story. No big surprises but in the end another one I'm glad I finished. I wonder about the whole Prada tie in, did the author work there before writing this book. I'll have to go back a check that out.
