Five stars and here’s why:

Ms. Scott hooked me from the get-go! I love a fake relationship story. Toss in an opposite attracts element on top of that, and you've got a recipe for a book hanger! THE ATTRACTION EQUATION delivers! FBI agent Max is a control freak to the Nth degree. Gina thrives with chaos. Throw in an adorable dog and all hell breaks loose. If you enjoy fast-paced writing, well-developed characters, and skyrocketing chemistry between the hero and heroine, this book is for you. Highly recommend.

This is the story of Gina Castillo, who is looking after her best friend’s apartment while she is away, but she breaks one of the rules of the building, no pets. It is Christmas time and Gina has bought her younger brother a puppy, problem is she can’t give it him until Christmas day so has to sneak around the building. On one of these trips she meets up with the sexy next door neighbour Max Carter who her friend has told her he is very strict on rules. But when Max meets Gina there is an instant attraction until the dog goes running around the apartment knocking things over.
Max has one condition to keep Gina’s secret, that she be his fake girlfriend for Christmas, with his family. This is to stop his mother matchmaking all the time.
I loved this story of opposites attract and with the extreme OCD, it was lovely how Gina handled it to make sure Max was comfortable, but hell to pay if anyone touches her things.
This was a great story in the Love Undercover series by Kadie Scott and can’t wait to read the next instalment.

This is the first book I read by this author, and it definitely won’t be the last.
The story centers around Max, an obsessively compulsive , and slightly OCD FBI agent Max and Gina , his absolutely opposite. She works multiple part-time jobs, and is an aspiring stage designer who is not only spontaneous, but also lives in a controlled chaos environment. While Max is a by the book guy, Gina is currently leasing a friend’s apartment next to Max and is hiding a puppy in a building that does NOT allow pets. But, her heart is in a good place, since the puppy is a Christmas gift for her brother.
Max catches her with her “contraband” and instead of turning her in, he “blackmails” her. He won’t say anything as long as she acts as his girlfriend at his parents Christmas Eve dinner. What started out as make believe seems to have gone a tad haywire.
But not all runs smoothly in paradise. Will they be able to accept each other, or will they lose their chance at HEA? The rollercoaster ride is entertaining and you will fall in love with both characters. I sure did.

**4-4.5 stars** The Attraction Equation was a super fun, sweet & sexy read! I loved this opposites attract -“fake” romance story!

Max is happiest with order and structure. He has a closet full of the same suits, his apartment is spotless, and everything has it’s place. He never deviates from it and Max likes it that way. Relationships? No...that would never work.

Until one day Gina, a woman whose life is full of color and chaos, comes into his life in an unexpected way.

Gina is subletting her best friend’s apartment which happens to be a few doors down from Max’s. When Max catches her sneaking a dog out of the “no pets allowed” building, she thinks she’s in big trouble and that her friend will lose her apartment.

But Max has other ideas. He needs his family, mainly his mother, to back off from his personal life and stop trying to fix him up with a woman. He makes a deal with Gina. She plays his fake girlfriend until the new year and attends his Christmas work party and Christmas at his family’s house and he won’t tell the building's Super about the dog (which happens to be a Christmas present for her younger brother). Win-win, right?

Oh...but the both of them never planned on real feelings getting in the way. Will Gina be able to deal with Max’s OCD tendencies and will Max be able to give up some of his structured and controlled life for something real with Gina?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and Gina and Max’s journey to their HEA! The dog in the story was an adorable side character too!

This is the second book in Kadie's Love Undercover series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to read an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Opposites attract

Max is a control freak, Gina complete chaos, add in to the mix hot chemistry, a fake relation and a cute dog and we have an entertaining read.
The attraction equation is a fun read. Fake relation between two opposites is nothing new, but Ms Scott has written a hilarious read with great characters and sizzling chemistry.
Look forward to reading more in the series.

I loved this book very much, it was a great read.
Gina has brought a dog, secretly, into her pet free apartment which she is subletting from a friend, he's a Christmas gift for her brother. Unfortunately she caught sneaking the pup in by her neighbour Max. Now Max see's an opportunity he can't refuse and a little blackmail goes along way, he needs a pretend girlfriend to take home for Christmas to keep his family from bringing dates for him....Gina has his silence if she agrees to help him.

This was a really funny story. There's two complete opposites, Max who lives his life very routinely, everything is neat, in it's place and on time and Gina is more laid back and fun, she takes life as it comes and odd jobs to make her dream, and t-bone the dog well - it pee's a lot - where it shouldn't, but that doesn't faze Gina, she just cleans it up.
Wonderful writing and great character's, a must read for comedy/romance lovers.
I highly recommend this book!

The Attraction Equation by Kadie Scott is Book 2 of the Love Undercover Series.

After having read the first book of the series, I abso-couldn’t resist getting my hands on this follow-up book. I was not disappointed. Ms. Scott has a writing style that will suck you in and make you a part of the shenanigans...a splendid story! Opposites attract and rules are meant to be broken...

Please note that an ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.

A truly heartwarming story of opposites attract...covered in laughter, witty repartee, lots of banter, and not to forget, a totally lovable little mutt named surprisenly T-bone...which speaks to Gina's unique personality and sense of humor.

Though the story of opposites attract is nothing new, but with Ms Scott's spin on it, you get Max and Gina...with moments of hilarity, mixed in with the rigidrigidness of OCD...making for an enjoyably entertaining story.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

I loved this book this is the second book that I have read from Kadie Scott and this was no exception I just love her writing style. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn't put my kindle down while reading this book and when I was not reading this book I was thinking about what was going to happen next to Max and Gina

I read the first book in this series and really liked it, so I was excited about having the opportunity to read this one as well. Although the first one is still my favorite, I found this to be a very enjoyable read. Gina is adorable, and of course T-Bone makes the book! So then there's Max. I thought that Max's extreme OCD added a very interesting twist to the story. I will say, though, that I got very frustrated with Max's attitude, and to be honest, after the Thanksgiving fiasco, I didn't think there was anything that Ms. Scott could write about Max that would redeem him in my eyes. I was convinced that even if Gina forgave him for the way he acted, I absolutely would not. So imagine my surprise when she proved me wrong. I certainly won't give away the ending, but I will say that my hardened heart melted into a big glob of fluttering goo. Ms. Scott is obviously some kind of witch doctor. ;-)

4.5 stars!

I LOVED this book!

What do you get when you mix an anal FBI agent who lives life by the rules with a rule breaker?? A fantastic read is what you get!! Max has lied to his family about having a girlfriend so they don't try to set him up for the millionth time. Something clicks when he runs into Gina, who is ending her dog into the pet free apartment she is subletting. Max blackmails Gina to be his pretend girlfriend.

Gina is fun and flighty and nothing like Max. But that is what make her so appealing to him. She also accepts Max for all his quirkiness. Max is like a FBI version of Sheldon Cooper.

I enjoyed this read so much. I loved the way the author told the story. It made me fall in love with the characters! I can't wait to read more book by her!

Max and Gina are a textbook story of opposites attract, but Kadie Scott added so many layers to each character that this story rose above being just a trope.

Max is very particular about every aspect of his life from how his coffee is made to where every item in his apartment goes. Gina, staying at a friend's apartment just a couple doors down from Max's, is much more laid back. She has a method to her mess when she makes one and odd jobs she takes to support her dream of set design.

When they meet Max figures she can help him by being his fake girlfriend for Christmas so his family will stop trying to set him up.

What I loved most is that Gina doesn't judge Max for his need for control, but instead helps to push him outside his comfort zone. She recognizes, too, when he is enjoying something new even if he protests the change. In some cases it seems like the protagonists are pushed together into a relationship too quickly, but I feel like Max and Gina's friendship and relationship were believable even as they planned a fake relationship to fool his family.

This was a fun and romantic read, and a great continuation of the series. I hope there are more books to come!

This was a pleasant quick read. Both characters are likable and their story sweet. There just wasn't anything especially new or memorable about this book. It is one I will see on my kindle in a few months and not remember much about it. Still it was nice read and worth the couple of hours spent with it.

OCD alpha males are pretty funny. I really enjoyed the dual perspectives in this story. Oh and of course T-Bone peeing everywhere was amusing.

Max may act like he cares about some things but deep down he doesn't, "Instead she reached up and wiped his mouth with her thumb. “my lipstick leaves a real mark.” Hell, the woman was leaving her mark all over his life." This was such a fun read, Max was such a control freak and I loved how Gina got him to losen up.

I can so picture this story playing out in my mind. I like my scheduled life and list. So this is the perfect book for me. Plus the fact that it is a quick read was a plus.

This is a PERFECT romance for the holidays! I read it with a smile on my face, curled up in a rocker, and didn't move from start to finish. Then, without even stretching the stiffness from sitting so long, I immediately visited Amazon to see what else is available from Kadie Scott. I don't often put an author on my Insta-buy list, but Scott just got added!

I can see this becoming next year's Christmas movie. All the right elements are there, from engaging and interesting characters to a cute dog.

Five BIG stars!

LOVED this book! Gina is subletting her friend's apartment....her pet free apartment, where she has sneaked in a dog to give to her brother for Christmas. Unfortunately, Max, her neighbor, has caught her with the dog and blackmails her to keep it a secret. He needs a pretend girlfriend to keep his family from setting him up at Christmas and Gina seems like the perfect solution.

This novel is smart, funny, and sexy. It's positively delicious to read and I already can't wait for the authors' next book. This is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list.
