This is my first Robyn Neeley title (and apologies as I thought I sent this YEARS ago, so am taking from Godreads now).

This is the quintessential beach read -a great friends to lovers romance with two characters that just can't seem to get out of their own way! Ryan is protective of his heart, to the point of being a commitment phobe, yet yearns for Sarah who longs for someone else (supposedly, as this crush seems wishy washy). His mixed signals and her back and forth make for a jumbled, but sweet journey to romance.

If you take this book at face value, you will enjoy this sweet, fast-paced read. it's a great quick escape. If you think too much about the detail, it's hard to root for these two.

Thank you for the opportunity to read Falling for Mr. Wright. Unfortunately, this one just didn't work for me. Since I didn't finish it, I will not be rating or reviewing at this time.

In Falling For Mr. Wright the heroine enlists the help of her best friend (and for lack of a better phrase work husband) to help her land his best friend, her boss, and the CEO of the company they work for and in doing so begins to realize every single wonderful think about her friend causing her quite the conundrum. This was a wonderfully sweet holiday story of two people finding one another when they least expect it.

Sarah Leonard is on a mission to win the heart of her boss by Christmas and enlists the aid of her friend and her boss’s best friend, Ryan Wright who secretly is interested in Sarah but has stayed away since he knows she’s a forever kind of girl and he is not interested in a relationship. I’ll admit there were so many times in this book I was screaming at Ryan to just admit he wanted her to just shut up and kiss her because I could feel how much helping her with her mission to get Logan was killing him. Sarah was a bit crazy and a tad clueless, but I admire the fact she was ready to have a relationship and was willing to go after the man she wanted even if over time her idea of the perfect man changed.

Each moment they spent together, each little piece of their lives they unveiled to one another had them feeling much more than either one was willing to admit. It was fun watching them fall in love and the bit of help they got from Logan when he realized something was building between them as well as some other special friends.

A bit of holiday magic and some good old fashioned wooing made Falling For Mr. Wright a sweet holiday story.

After being dumped two weeks before his wedding, civil engineer Ryan Wright’s not interested in love. Been there, done that, had the wedding deposits to prove it. Still, he can’t help lusting after the fiery redheaded executive assistant who’s stirring up feelings that aren’t exactly appropriate for the office. Sarah Leonard is determined to make the CEO fall in love with her. To execute her plan, she’s going to need a little help in the form of her lunch buddy, the 6’2” office hottie who just so happens to be their boss’s best friend. Who better to tell Sarah everything she needs to know to win the other man’s heart? Ryan agrees to help Sarah put her plan in motion, but he has no intention of helping her win anything. In fact, it’s time to show his office crush that he’s the guy she should be falling for.
The book was good. I liked both main characters as they went through the story. I enjoyed the plot and the book flowed well. I recommend.

Having read the excerpt because I forgot to download this when I had the chance let me just say I am kicking myself for letting this pass me by.
Totally my fault and for that, so I'll be purchasing this shortly to make up for it because the excerpt provided enough to understand that this was what I'm needing in a romantic comedy and the dialogue between Ryan and Sarah is witty, smart, and charming.

Falling for Mr. Wright is a sweet, cute friends-to-lovers romance.

Sarah has been crushing on her boss, Logan, for ages now. And it's finally time to do something about it. So she enlists the help of her friend and co-worker, Ryan. Ryan is a commitment phobe kind of guy. But he's a sweetheart and a great friend to both Sarah and Logan. Sarah figures Ryan since Ryan is Logan's best friend and knows Logan well, so who better to help her figure out how to make Logan fall for her than his own best friend?

Of course, things never go smoothly in the land of rom-coms, and soon Sarah is developing feelings for the wrong guy, for the guy who has a firm anti-commitment flag flying, the guy who happens to be her friend and Logan's. What's a girl to do?

I thought Falling for Mr. Wright was cute and sweet, and thankfully, low on the angst scale. It's a bit predictable and chick-lit-ish, but it's a fun little diversion. Don't expect something super steamy or really deep when diving in, but do prepare yourself for something lighthearted and sweet.

This was great fun to read. The main characters, Sarah and Ryan were funny, engaging and had loads of chemistry. There was no melodrama or evil maschinations, the hea was more a matter of deciding on priorities and communicating with one another, and that was exactly what I was in the mood for!
Highly recommended.

Sarah is working at an office and has a thing for the CEO, Logan. It's a good thing that she is lunch buddy's with the boss's best friend, Ryan Wright. Oh wait - did you just figure out what's going to happen? Yeah, you probably did... if you can put two and two together from the title. Ryan is no longer interested in love and decides that he will try to fix up Logan with Sarah - until he realizes that maybe, just maybe he is ready for another relationship. Ryan ends up taking Sarah to an event at his High School where Logan is being honored but unable to attend. Everyone thinks that Sarah and Ryan are a couple and Ryan really starts to think once he sees his ex and her husband - and she is pregnant. (Ryan was dumped 2 weeks before his wedding - no wonder the guy doesn't want to be in relationships anymore). While he is torn for a bit in helping Sarah get what she wants (Logan) or helping himself gets what he wants (Sarah)... Sarah may ultimately end up falling for Mr Wright.

I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review, I was not otherwise compensated.

When you can completely lose yourself in a story, the author has written the perfect one. For Ryan and Sarah theirs is a story that is easy to immerse yourself in and lose track of time. I thoroughly enjoyed their roundabout trip to finding their HEA. With missed opportunities and misconstrued conversations, their journey was as frustrating at times as it was fun. It was sweet and endearing for them to finally cut through all the confusion to get to where their were destined to be.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Falling for Mr. Wright was a fun romantic holiday read. Beware that it’s a bit steamier than Robyn’s other novels, but relatively tame on a major steamy scale. I loved the friendship between Ryan and Sarah and I enjoyed the progression of the story and slowly learning about their backgrounds and what brought them to where they are today. This was a bit of a festive holiday read, without being a major Christmassy book and I loved the little surprise at the end.

Putting down roots and creating the beginnings of a long and loving relationship is always so inspiring. This book will make you laugh and grimace and laugh some more, and it’ll make your toes curl a bit too.

On a side note, this book made me hungry and left me craving all the yummy sweets Ryan’s sister baked throughout the story. If you enjoy women’s fiction filled with a little bit of drama and a good dose of sexual tension, then this is one you won’t want to miss!

Ryan Wright isn’t relationship kind of guy, but he can be a supportive best friend. That’s the role he stuck himself in and he’s going to stay I with Sarah despite his raging attraction. Relationships were messy anyway and he had no wish to relive the hell he had already gone through in the last one. But the more time he spends with Sarah, the more he fantasizes and the more he starts to think about “what if”. Now she wants to enlist him to help her win the company CEO, and his other best friend. He wants no part of it, but his sister talks him into it and before too long he hatches a plan to make Sarah see him as the right guy instead of Logan.

Sarah Leonard already does see Ryan in the way he wants, but she’s carefully filed those troublesome feelings into the back of her mind because she knows Ryan is in no way wanting a relationship. She’s made herself content with being friends, but she doesn’t want to be alone forever and it’s time to find someone, so Logan it is. Oddly though, her quest to snare Logan brings her even closer to Ryan and before too long the two are crossing lines they never dared approach before. Ironically Ryan Wright just might be Mr. Right … if they can both get beyond their own relationship insecurities before they lose out on the possibility of love together … because Logan is slowly moving in.

This book was a pretty cute read. I wasn’t completely enthralled, but the story had a bit of charm to it, with some super steamy scenes added. For a while I thought Ryan would remain trapped within his own fears, but he gets a bit of a nudge and has to decide what it is he actually wants and who that will be with. Ryan was a little slow to make a move, so that was frustrating, but Sarah was similar. She was so focused on the fact that Ryan didn’t want a relationship that she made assumptions, and neither would confront their true feelings. I guess the fear of damaging their friendship was greater than the chance at a relationship. Had they quit the “let’s keep it casual no strings”, they could have cut the crap and found happiness much sooner. But you need an epiphany so that is what we had to wait for. If not for the hemming and hawing, I would have rated it 4 wings.

That said, I still found the book enjoyable and liked Sarah and Ryan well enough. I am not sure if this is part of, or will be part of, a series. However, Logan could easily have his own story. But the story I’d really like to sink my teeth in to is Ryan’s sister, Bridget. She’s saucy, perfectly honest, and a brilliant baker with a rather colorful back story. I’m hoping at the very least, she gets her own book. At the final portion of the book, it didn’t play out exactly as I had envisioned, but was still a cute gesture in the theme of the holiday season. While I’m not sure it was as grand as it was set up to be, it was sweet. I don’t think it necessarily has to be read around the holidays, but that is a portion of the plot-theme, so if that bugs you, then add this to your “holiday read” pile. As a first read with Ms. Neeley, the story was satisfying, so I would likely read her books again. I just wish I had connected with the characters a bit more than I was able to. For those who enjoy a decent HEA, you will be pleased with this book.

4.5 Christmas Stars!

I read this story in one sitting. There was so many ways Sarah could've been written wrong because of her crush but she was delightful and found myself cheering for her.

I loved Ryan! He was brave, sweet, thoughtful, and a great friend. The chemistry between them was hot and I couldn't wait for them to cross the line from friends to lovers.

Looking for a fun romance this Christmas season, then I’d recommend Falling For Mr. Wright. Full of banter, interesting secondary characters and a really good story, it’s sure to fill up your holiday spirits this season.

Thanks to Entangled and Netgalley for allowing me to read this story.

I have to say a big thank you to Robyn Neeley for getting in touch and sending me this book. I had a feeling I would enjoy it and enjoy it I most certainly did!

I'm going to be naughty and do something I don't usual do and that's use the blurb from amazon, the reason for this is that this morning before sitting down to write this here review, I re-read this blurb and it gave me that fuzzy, happy book feeling, the one that looks a little something like this...*insert Jim Carrey smiley gif*
We all get it; when a book just makes you happy from the inside out and being reminded of the characters and their story just brings a smile to your face. Ryan and Sarah's definitely did for me.

Ryan agrees to help Sarah put her plan in motion, but he has no intention of helping her win anything. In fact, it’s time to show his office crush that he’s the guy she should be falling for...

Sarah was everything that I often feel like I would love to have been in another life or in my head. She has a good office job and is confident, sexy, independent and stylish to go with it. She's also funny and down to earth. However, while she may be able to dress the part and look good doing so, she's also not like the other girls in the office, which is why her and Ryan make great friends. She's not falling for his charms like everyone else...well, not yet! She's able to hang out and relax around him, which is probably why Ryan ends up falling for her! Personally, I fell for Ryan straight away, I know, I know, typical but what can I say? He's pretty dreamy. He made me swoon and laugh. He was romantic and he always bought his sister's baked goods into work to share with Sarah, I mean come on!!??? How is that not perfection? To add the icing on the cake, I'm just going to say it... he's also HOT!

"Falling for Mr Wright." made me giggle, smile and keep turning the pages. It's fun, flirty and such a laid back, feelgood read, that it's a must for over Christmas, when you just want to relax and put your feet up, with hot drinks and chocolate. I highly, highly recommend it and once again thank you Robyn for sending it to me.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.

This book had issues. First and most importantly was the editing...or rather the lack thereof. The lack of editing was the first thing that caught my attention and at that point, I just didn't care about reading this book. It drives me crazy when there's no editing. It's frustrating, irritating and a waste of time trying to figure out which characters are talking...

I found the characters to be juvenile and just wasn't vested in them. Sorry, this just wasn't a good read for me.
