Holy Crap! What a roller coaster ride! This was just gut wrenching. I had about 50 pages left to go and was wondering if there was going to be a third book because there were still so many unanswered questions. Just loved this book and Stillhouse Lake!! I'm going to check out some of Caine's other series.

Whoa! This was even better than the first in the series, which I did not think would be possible. Rachel Caine's characters are brilliantly written, the story is suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat through the entire book - it is unrelenting.

I absolutely loved how much Rachel' broke the characters in book 2. It added to the readers emotional experience. As a mom, this book ripped my heart out.
