The sad fact is that Sam in an obsessive workaholic and that cost him his marriage. When work always came first and Trinity a very far second, or more, she’d had enough. If it was work that Sam loved above everything else… then let him have his work. Now Sam is facing a test, a professional one certainly but it’s also turning into a personal test. And if he wants to win the real prize it’s time to change his ways.

The Billionaire’s Ex-Wife is an emotional story on so many levels. You’ll be frustrated, joyful, laugh and cry, want to smack someone one moment and hug them tight the next. Neither Sam nor Trinity are going to make this journey easy… and it shouldn’t be. There are millions of men and women like Sam in the world. For them work is life, and the only life necessary is work. They are strong, intelligent and driven – often to the point of losing the important things about life while conquering the business world. They have no clue how to find a balance between their work and the ones that love them, need them to be present in their personal lives as well.

There were moments that I ached for each of thee characters. And moments that I had no idea what the heck they were thinking. Sam’s brothers didn’t exactly help the situation any either. In Sam’s need for another chance with the woman he still loves he will try to reshape himself into a man she’d love. And while Trinity is good at fixing other people or things, she’s not going to help Sam out on this one. If he cannot change his ways then they have no future together. It’s just that simple for her, in spite of still being in love with this infuriating man. Both are right, both are wrong. And finding that balance between the two is what makes this story come alive. Watching them find their way to a happy ending brought forth both happy and frustrated tears… and if that’s not an emotionally involved story then I don’t know what is.

I enjoyed this one, and now I need to know what his brothers will face. If you enjoy an emotional story with characters you actually have a love/hate relationship with then The Billionaire’s Ex-Wife is perfect for you.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

3.75 Stars
Sam, a self-absorbed, workaholic billionaire who now wants his ex-wife back. But can you get back what you threw away?
Trinity, a confident professional who works for the same company as her arrogant ex-husband. Trinity divorced him because she knew she would never come first but now he want her back.
A second chance love story that you will have to read to find out what happens.

Sweetly sexy, emotionally thrilling, engaging second chance romantic journey filled with hope and growth. This is a quick, short read, but highly entertaining.

Trinity Jameson is a fixer, but the one person she could not fix was her ex-husband Sam Jameson. She is sweet, sassy and so fun to read about. Sam is driven, organized and so convinced the world or at least his world only works in black and white. This couple are complete opposites, but so perfect. Could not put this down till the end. Looking forward to more Jameson Brothers.

Interesting storyline but disappointed as it seems a rehash of older storylines. OK read but not great

Appears to be the beginning of a new series, and the other brothers will be getting their stories as well. Glad to see something besides Sheik storylines from this author.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

What a way to start the book! Sam finds out that he needs to work with his ex-wife and when he sees Trinity, the sparks are still there! Unfortunately, Sam has not changed and for most the book, I don't think he really sees the need to change!

I am with Trinity - if my husband sent his assistant to tell me he was not showing up for an anniversary dinner, I don't think I would be married long either! Most the book, I feel is a learning experience for Sam to see his issues and then determine if he cares enough for Trinity to change.

It was pretty funny when Eddie uses a karaoke night to win a big client and Sam joins in to the singing. It took a long time but I think that Sam could finally see that his little brother had some good ideas and that Sam needed to lighten up.

Great HEA but they first had to figure out what city they would call home and that was another hurdle to jump.

I have read some of Leslie North's other books and had such high hopes for this one based on those. I was disappointed. Her characters fell flat. I couldn't connect with any of them. There was nothing about them that made me want to know more or even to care about them a little. This seemed like a "by the seat of my pants" story with no real purpose behind it. The premise was great. I felt it had the potential to be something a lot more than it was.

Sam Jameson and his wife Trinity divorced one year ago because Sam made his work not his wife his priority. Now they are thrown back together and they find they are both still in love with each other.

Trinity just has to convince Sam that to have her, she must come first in his life.

This is a short sweet read.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. Trinity and Sam were divorced (mainly due to his being a workaholic). After seeing her after a year, he realizes he wants her back. It took the whole book for him to figure out that he hadn't changed and if he wanted her back, he would have to adjust his thinking. In saying it took the whole book, that was as good thing - he changed a little, reverted, tried again, reverted, etc. It was quite the journey for him and was written so well, it kept you interested. Sam's family dynamics was a little disfunctional, so that played a part in his journey. Well written but I enjoy most of Leslie North's books. They are very entertaining.

What a author Leslie North is. I don’t know how she doesn’t but she just blows me away when I read her books. You can never start one without finishing it even if that means losing some sleep to do it. She just pulls you in and doesn’t let go even when you have finished as she leaves you wanting more and that is what makes her one of my favourite authors of all time. Could not recommend anyone better than Leslie North. Even got my mum reading her books.

I had a hard time connecting with these characters at first. Sam is a workaholic and doesn't even really know why his wife divorced him. Trinity got out of the relationship because of the lack of communication and his workaholic ways. I felt like I was missing something in the beginning. Eddie still seems like a college kid even though he can bag the clients. I really liked the ending though, with Sam working through everything in order to change to be a partner to Trinity.

I really enjoyed this story. It is a great second chance romance read. It was well written and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Sam and Trinity make a fabulous couple. I would recommend this book. It can be read as a stand alone.

This is the 1st book I have read from this author. I was very pleased. This is a heartwarming story about two people giving themselves a second chance at love. I could literally feel trinity’s pain. It’s annoying and hurtful when you are with a person and you feel like they would rather be somewhere else. It’s a hard pill to swallow to be lonely but not be alone. Trinity was hurt by Samson’s behavior during their marriage and so Samson had some making up to do. The first thing he had to do was remove the stick that was lodged up his @$$. I can’t wait to read about Eddie and William. Eddie is trying hard to succeed in a new environment and I can’t wait to read more about him.

I voluntarily read this book provided via NetGalley for a fair an honest review. Sam Jameson is the middle brother of the Jameson men. He’s a bit OCD, extremely uptight, not good socially and a workaholic. It was his inability to put his wife first that caused he to leave. I have to say that if my husband was letting me down, I don’t think I would be calling his brother in the middle of the night to cry. Nor would I travel on vacation with that brother after I divorced his brother. Like Dr. Phil says “there are two side to a pancake” there are things I think Trinity also did that were unkind. Yes, her life shouldn’t stop just because Sam is back in town, she still works for his company, but twice when he asked to spend time with her she shit him down with either I have a date or it’s singles night. There was no passion here. And “on boarding” Eddie was more like “ water boarding Eddie”. Also Eddie was a man/boy yet Trinity always had his back.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Sam was a workaholic.
That cost him his wife.
When he goes to evaluate his little brother, he sees Trinity again.
Trinity still has feelings for Sam.
Sam also still has feelings for Trinity.
However, Sam still is a workaholics. It has not changed.
However, now Sam wants Trinity back.
Will Sam be able to woo his ex-wife again?
Will Trinity give Sam a 2nd chance ?
Love the storytelling + the characters.

I enjoy reading a short romance novel with a little bit of erotica thrown in and this didn't disappoint.

In this book you meet Sam and Trinity an ex-husband and wife who work for the same company, specifically his families advertising company. Within this short eBook you come to realise the reason why they are no longer married is because Sam has trouble compromising and putting others before work. In this book the author shows how a person can change for the right reasons and that being for love.

I like how the author has also introduced the characters and even though I like Sam I feel that he is wrong from the start and pleased with how the book ended. I was also impressed with Trinity for sticking to her guns and being strong enough to stand up for what she believes in and not giving in at the first hurdle. two other brothers especially Eddie who is the fun loving one.

I look forward to reading the next two books in the series and meeting Eddie and William again.

All in all this was a very quick enjoyable read with romance, a bit of heartbreak and shouting at Sam to pull his finger out and go for his girl!
