If you are after some Christmas cheer to get you ready for the Holiday season, this book is bound to get you in the spirit. It has hot alphas, an adorable boy, and a whole town that’s all about Christmas. There is lots of snow, hot chocolate, ice skating, and all the Christmas Trimmings (including the aforementioned hot alpha to help you decorate). Things do get deep for a bit, but the strong, loving hero is there with lots of hugs and support to get you through it.

This is a best-friends-to-lovers story. The extremely patient hero, Nolan, decides it’s time to go after the object of his desire, Miranda. He takes full advantage of the opportunity given to him when Miranda asks him to be her fake fiancee while her parents visit. Once he made the decision to quit pussyfooting around, he threw everything at her making sure that when her parents left, they’d still be together.

Miranda had a lot going on in her life since her move to Holly. She had suddenly found herself the guardian of her 11-year-old nephew, Mateo, and all her energy was focused on him. Life had not been kind to Mateo in his short life and Miranda was determined to make sure he not only fully recovered physically and mentally but thrived from here on out. Because of this, she didn’t feel a relationship would be in the cards for her.

I did find myself a tad bit frustrated at Nolan and Miranda’s constant failure to communicate but I also understood there were all sorts of issues happening. Neither was upfront with their feelings before the fake fiancee thing came up and this didn’t really change for quite awhile.

This was cute and entertaining with just a touch of drama to keep things interesting. As the holiday season gets into full swing this is a quick, easy and heartwarming read for when the mood strikes or when you need an infusion of holiday spirit.

Mistletoe Me, Baby was a gentle, sweet and engaging Christmas novella. That had a touch of angst, along with really likable characters. Who shared plenty of chemistry, especially during the sex scene. Which really helped sell the overall story. Although I do wish this had been a full length novel. As I would of loved to have read more from it. But saying that I did still really enjoy it and I'd happily recommend it to others.

Feel good romance

Katie Reus did a wonderful job with the heartwarming novella.
Miranda and Nolan made a great couple. The plot was solid and the appearances of Nolan's family made me want to read their stories.
I received an advance reader copy from NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.

Adorable Christmas story with characters you can't help but fall for. This is the first book I've read by Katie Reus, and I enjoyed this one so much that I now want to go back and read the others in this series so that I can get to know the rest of the O'Connor family. Nolan is as swoon-worthy as they get. I enjoyed every second of this quick read, and I'm so glad to have found this new-to-me author.

3.5 Stars
Short and sweet holiday romance. I think I would have enjoyed this more had I read other books of,the series. Not that it couldn't be read as a stand alone, but I think that if I had more of a connection with the family I would have been more invested.

Mistletoe Me, Baby (O'Connor Family, #4) by Katie Reus ....Miranda and Nolan's story...and lets not forget Mateo. A great Christmas romance with all the feels... It was fun revisiting the other O'Connor's and their mates from Merry Christmas, Baby #1, Tease Me, Baby #2, It's Me Again, Baby #3.... I enjoyed the series and enjoyed their HEA. I received an advanced reading copy for an honest review. This is a great series for anytime of year ...but especially at Christmas time.

I love Katie Reus books. I have read all the Darkness series. Katie Reus writes an alpha male to perfection. He is protective and possessive just the right amount so it’s not overbearing.
Nolan is perfect. Miranda has a lot going on now, with running a community center, raising her nephew, her sister is in rehab, and her family on her back about being single. She decides to lie a little and say she has a fiancé. Things get a little complicated when her family decides to show up, so in come sexy Nolan to act as her fiancé. It is a great read! I love how Nolan was her best friend 1st and they got to know each other 1st before it turning into more.

Katie Reus is one of my top favorite authors. She has a knack for writing the dominant Alphas I love without turning them into jerks. Her Alphas are protective and really know how to take care of their woman, while staking a claim that tells every male in vicinity to back off. Now that’s sexy!

I gotta admit, I was a bit worried she was changing things up with this book when Nolan stayed as just a friend at first. I never should have doubted. Once Nolan found his opening to stake his claim, Miranda didn’t know what hit her.

My favorite part of this book was when tragedy struck. We truly got to see how much Nolan loved Miranda and how he took care of her even when she pushed him away. There is no way you won’t fall for Nolan.

This is a novella, so the friends only part is short and the pushing away is even shorter. The tragedy is sad but won’t bring the story down. This is a standalone but she has a book on each sibling in the O’Connor Family. You’re gonna want to check them all out.

Tis the season for miracles. Mistletoe Me, Baby is another example of exceptional writing. Ms. Reus has sentiment on the brain and love in the heart. Nolan and Miranda are each others safe haven when the world gets tough. In the midst of pain they find hope for the future, food for the soul and an everlasting love that can weather any storm including grief. Through rainstorm of life they discover the value of the bond they've spent years building and the family they can become. A winner all year round.

Everything good! Friends-to-lovers, fake fiance, ready-made family, crazy parents, military man... the list goes on! The only thing I wanted was the story to be longer! Nolan and Miranda were great as friends, but both wanted more without disrupting the balance. Sad at one point, but sweet and sexy the rest of the time.

Nolan sometimes doesn't want to let his woman up, “you don’t need to get that.” Nolan wrapped an arm around her from behind, pressing his naked chest up against her bare back." I liked this little novella Nolan doesn't take no for an answer, and was persistent.

I laughed, cried, and need a cold shower. Awesome story in a town that celebrates Christmas all year round. Miranda runs a community center and is raising her eleven year old nephew. Her sister goes to rehab for drug addiction and drops of her son Mateo. Nolan owns a construction company and is a coach at the center. He has been in love with Miranda since he met her ten months ago. But she told him she wasn’t wanting a relationship right now.Her parents surprise her and want to meet the fiancé she’s told them about. So she has to find a fake fiancé before they arrive. Nolan overhears and says he’ll do it. This is his chance to get closer to her and make her fall for him. She just wants him to meet her parents and then say they broke up but Nolan has other ideas. He puts an engagement ring on her finger and he plans to keep it there.

I have recently started reading Ms Reus’s books (Redemption series) and have fallen in love with her style. Though this book does not have the intensity and angst of that series, it is just as touching. It’s a stand alone and if like me you haven’t read the previous books, you’ll be fine. But I think you will agree with me , that we might need to “visit” her other stories in the series, if they are as good as this one.
The story centers around Miranda Flores and Nolan O’Connor. She recently moved to Holly, NC from Florida looking for a change and a new beginning now that she is the guardian of her 11 year old nephew. A boy whose Mom’s addiction is destroying her.
Since they met 10 months ago. Nolan and Miranda have developed a friendship, neither revealing their true feelings for the other. But when Miranda’s parents make a surprise visit to Holly, NC, Nolan becomes her “fake” boyfriend.
Things get complicated and tragedy occurs. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles presented or will they miss their HEA?
Only a talented author can compact in a novella a well developed and complex plot line, as well as interesting characters. She not only manages to give us a romance, but she also delves on the family dynamics between parents and children no matter what age, addiction, guardianship and tragedy.
Kudos to this talented author.
I was gifted this copy by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This is a good story.
The hero is amazing. He is patient, determined and caring.
There are genuine reasons why the heroine feels reluctant to start a relationship with him.
It was good.
Details of previous couples and a HEA.

MISTLETOE ME, BABY by Katie Reus. Book 4 "O'Conner Family" K R Press publishers
Nolan fell in love with Miranda, 10 months ago, and still nothing from her. For her, she wanted her Nolan fix everyday, and still puzzled of why he was still single. Content, to be just friends, without any tanglements. She comes with a package deal, and not many men want that. Things change fast, when she needs a fiancé fast, parents are coming for holidays. Finally things may change for them. All of Susan books are good, enjoyable and a pleasure to read, readers will definitely enjoy. Given ARC. by Net Galley for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

What’s it About? Nolan’s been in love with Miranda for almost a year but she insisted on being just friends so that’s what Nolan’s been to her. Then Miranda’s parents surprise her with a visit and her mother insists on meeting the fiancée Miranda’s told her about. Who doesn’t exist, so she asks Nolan to pretend to be her fiancée which he jumps at because he sees it as a chance to show Miranda how he really feels about her. Then things start feeling less fake and more real until a tragic event shakes Miranda’s life and she tries to push Nolan away but Nolan’s waited too long to have a chance with her so he isn’t going away without a fight.

Overall reaction to the story? Mistletoe Me, Baby is such a feel good novella. It has all the makings of a steamy holiday story with Nolan and the rest of the O’Connor family who can make anyone feel like part of the family. I love this family, they’re loud, they’re fun, they love fiercely, and enjoy each other’s company. With Nolan being the last O’Connor to have his story, I felt a little sad because like I said before, this is a family that you just fall in love with. Nolan was such a good friend to Miranda and her nephew, I appreciated how considerate he was of them both but at the same time he wanted to show her how much he loved her and give her the chance to see him as more than just a friend. Miranda was such a sweetheart, she took in her nephew and is doing her very best by him and like a good parental figure, she worried she wasn’t doing things right. She had a big heart but she was also so lonely which wasn’t fair to a nurturing character like her.

As short as Mistletoe, Me Baby is though, it feels complete. I wasn’t left feeling like the story ended with a cliffhanger or feeling that it was rushed. With Nolan and Miranda having already know each other before the story starts, it saved a lot of time that was better devoted to building a romance. The chemistry between Nolan and Miranda was always present and it just needed a slight push to tumble into the lovers department. These two made such a great couple, they complimented each other without being drastic opposites. I’m glad that Nolan and Miranda were saved for last.

Mistletoe Me, Baby is the fourth lovely romance in the O'Connor Family series written by author Katie Reus. Thanks to NetGalley and KR Press for the advance copy.

I give Mistletoe Me, Baby, four and a half stars. It is an easy romance. Meaning not too much drama. Sometimes I just want to read a book that makes me sigh without the growling.
