Wow, what a way to end a series! I've read every book in this series and am happy to see the progression of the Murdochs. They have had some rough times: Paulette being blackmailed, Evan being cheated on by his first wife and eventually set up for attempted murder, Terry having his accident and having to learn a new way of life I highly recommend this series for anyone looking for grown-up drama with a good bit of sexiness.

WOW, WOW, WOW. Awesome entry in this series. Great wrap up to a series. Questions are answered which to me is a big plus in a series. With the books I read, I felt like I knew the family. All I can say is what a ride!!! Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my hones review.

I'm two faced on this book-- sad that it's the final book in the Chesterton Scandal series but SO HAPPY to see some ends tie up and find out what happens to my favorite players in this drama that has been playing out for the past couple of years. As usual, Ellis doesn't hold back on the draaaaaamaaaaaaa... oh my gah. I swear I need a bowl of popcorn and a drank to read her novels!

Since this is the last in the series, I am really afraid of giving away details to readers who aren't lucky enough to have nabbed an advance copy (blows on fingertips) but lemme just say... this book is as good as you hope it is. You don't get answers right away... a basic wrap up of story lines... nawl. Shelly wouldn't do that to us! There's still a whole story to tell before we get to THE END. There's action, suspense and drama to the very. last. page.

And Dante. OOOH WEEE DANTE. Few characters in ANY book I've EVER read scare me more than this brother.
And that's all I can say about that.

This book is due to hit the streets in November and I implore you to cop it and put it directly into your face.

So looking forward to more work from Shelly... she knows she can write her tail off!

I had been eagerly awaiting the follow up to this series. It was a good book, I enjoyed it. The amount of drama in the story was just right. I was curious to see how things would develop and the author just picked up right where things left off. With a few new twist and turns. A few of the scenes I kinda figured out how things would turn out, but I still enjoyed reading about it.

The characters in the story were still as before, nicely developed. The ones that got on my nerves in the series still got on my nerves in this story as well. So I felt that the author was consistent with that.

I liked how the issues that were raised in the last story was concluded in this story. Very nice end to the series.

To Love and Betray is the final installment in the Chesterton Scandal series. i am sad that this is the last book i have really enjoyed this journey with the Murdochs. The author did a very good job tying up everyone’s story. i would have loved to seen C.J and Terrance story end a little different but i am satisfied with the way it ended. This book did not disappoint it had it’s fair share of drama, lies and betrayal. i enjoyed the new characters that were also introduced in the story. Great job Shelly!
