Nothing is more romantic than being a newlywed during the holidays! And nothing is more festive than making Christmas plans with one’s beloved. But as Lady Ophelia is about to discover, even the best laid plans can go awry. And as she knows very well, when it comes to matters of the heart, that is sometimes the greatest gift of all. True love, after all, can be full of surprises.
This was a cute book for the holiday season. It flowed easily and was a quick read. I recommend.

This novella gives us a little look into Ophelia and Sidney' s new marriage. Their courtship was the storyline for Charming Ophelia. The newlyweds are taking part in the Christmas festivities at her cousin, Judith's estate. Among the activities is a treasure hunt, a treasure that supposedly hidden by the wife of a disgraced Cavalier in the time of Cromwell. Just what is the treasure? Will they be able to find it? This is a nice read. The characters are likeable if not particularly memorable.

This was such a cute book, really short and sweet and I enjoyed it very much!
Well I read it over Christmas break and as you can imagine it was perfectly fitting for the season as I was cuddling in under the duvet!
I am going to very much recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Even though I really enjoyed Ophelia and Sidney's story, this one didn't really do anything for me...

Enchanting Ophelia by Rachael Miles is book 3.5 in "The Muses' Salon" series. This Novella continues the story of Ophelia and Sydney from the previous book "Charming Ophelia". Enchanting Ophelia book catches up with them a few months out from their marriage around Christmas time.
This was a quick delightful story!

I have read other books by Ms. Miles and enjoyed them, but this book had way too many characters to keep track of. It was so confusing that none of the story really made sense to me. And then there's an action by one of the guests at the manor house who does something that could have had serious repercussions, but that is never addressed again. All in all, this book is a jumble of too many characters to keep track of with a mystery that wasn't all that interesting.

This novella continues the story of Ophelia and Sydney, which apparently started in the previous novella [book:Charming Ophelia|33827200]. This was my first Miles book, and considering that the MCs' falling-in-love story was in a previous, it probably was not the best choice to introduce me to the author. I did think the story interesting, as it centered around a ghost story/mystery at a house party for the holiday. There were many characters, with too much information about them, but it did get me interested in reading more of by this author, to at least see how her style works in a full length book.

This a story about a family get together to celebrate the twelve days of Christmas. Sidney and Opehlia are newlyweds. They have joined her cousin,Judith and various cousins and siblings. A mystery to solve, Mr. Thorpe was executed but Mrs. Thorpe disappeared and was never heard from again. Very mysterious house and the house is said to be cursed. It made for some great reading. It was well written, even paced and very interesting. It kept your attention. I have never read this author before but I am so glad I did. I am anxious to read more of her books.

This novella follows Sidney & Ophelia’s story, six months after their wedding & they are gathered with family & friends for Christmas. An easy to read novella that I read in an afternoon, Sidney & Ophelia are very much in love but involve themselves in the festivities. There’s a Protectorate mystery, a missing family member & devote friends which all add to the enjoyment of the book. There are quite a few loose ends & the ending seemed very abrupt so I hope there are more stories to follow. This could be read as a stand alone novella but would recommend reading at least Sidney & Ophelia’s story
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

This novella is a continuation of Sydney and Opehelia's story. It is a host pay made up of mostly family that takes place at Christmas. It has ghosts, treasure hunts and rescues. All in all a cute novella.

I’ve read several works by this author, and greatly enjoyed them. I’m thinking I may need to re-read them, as this and her other Ophelia book seem to take place prior to the ones I’ve read and I’m disoriented by the order. Perhaps a decade or more difference. This involves a Christmas holiday with extended family and friends, a mystery in an old abbey, and the possible loss of a beloved family member. All are solved well by the end, though several loose ends remain, for possible future works. This was a novella really, and an easy quick read. Enjoyed it very much.

I found the story to be beautifully written with a good solid plot.

A continuation of Ophelia and Sidney's story, Enchanting Ophelia, is a great Christmas time story. With some fun games and a good mystery.

Sidney is so good to his woman, “That’s good to know.” Sidney stretched, then returned to his task. “I’ll keep beakers on order for the rest of our marriage, if it means I win an argument or two.” I loved this novella I loved Sidney thr man adored his wife.
