Every book I read in the Misadventure Series is better than the next. They are all fast-paced fun reads with hot romance and a great storylines. Unlike some, I went into this book not knowing the story of Kase and June so I didn’t know what to expect but I was instantly caught up in the story between the past and the present and how family can sometimes try to get in the way of romance. This book has it all. Love, romance, sex, lies, secrets...well everything you could want.

Misadventures is about the twenty year old June who is been carrying a torch for Kase since he gave her one hell of a kiss the night of his graduation party. Four years later, he still hasn’t called but she can’t forget how he made her feel. Kase is back from college & determined to make a go of the family farm. Until he decides that he’s willing to give it up for a second chance with June.

There was so much potential in this story line. Early on, I found myself intrigued by exactly what level of kink Kase was into. For sure, it would be some pretty serious stuff, right? Unfortunately, the back story & character development I was looking for was never delivered. I believe this contributed to the sex scenes feeling oddly clinical. Fortunately, the conflict of the story was resolved without too much angst. Overall, this book was not my cup of tea.

What a good book! Meredith Wild did an outstanding job with Misadventures of a Virgin. June & Kase's families have been rivals for years. Kase was June's crush as a teenager. Kase takes off for college without a word to June. Fast-forward several years & Kase is back to help with the family business. Should June & Kase stay away from each other or pick up where things left off? This book had me hooked from the start. I love the Misadventure series.

First love's are the one's we never forget. And getting that second chance is rare, but June's dream comes true. After one steamy kiss, he up and disappears from her life, but now...... he's back and he isn't letting go this time.

This book, their connection.... it was a beautiful love story that gave me heart palpitations.
Meredith Wild never disappoints!

“This is always where I wanted to be. I knew I could never have you, but I never forgot about you, June. Never stopped wishing that night had ended the way you envisioned.”

I've yet to read a Meredith wild book that hasn't totally delivered. This book was witty and hot and funny and sexy! Loved it !

A good book. I didn't connect to the characters as much as I'd have liked, but it was a nice read.!

3.5 stars rounded low.

I enjoyed the first three quarters of the book. The pace was great and the love scenes were steamy. The characters were behaving according to their age although I have some questions regarding Kase’s expertise in being a Dom. Then, the big secret came out, and one of my biggest pet peeves in romance happened. Running away without talking to the other person. Feeling butt-hurt for the lie of omission. Assuming the worst. And there’s a weird change of POV. Here we are so into June’s head and suddenly we have Kase talking to us. It was a bit disconcerting. I'd have liked it better if the POV was alternating from the beginning.

This was my least favorite book in the series.I will start first with what I like about the story! June and Kase were interesting enough main characters and I really like them but I couldn't feel their connection and this was my main reason why I didn't enjoyed it as much as I wanted!

Coming of age story about a girl and her crush. Likable characters. A very cute book.

It all started with a kiss. That as all it took and after four long years that is where it begins again. Kase left the small mountains town to go,away to college leaving behind the one person that ignites his soul on fire. One little kiss from June and he was absolutely helpless. The only way to combat the hunger driving his every thought was distance. However, distance doesn’t matter anymore when all his thoughts are consumed by the one person he tried to take a step back from. A land dispute will toss them together once again and may drive them further apart.

Sometimes flames that never ignite wait to flame!!!!

Let’s talk about being an author that consistently hits each book out of this world. I mean how does she get you teary eyed at the beginning of the book and you aren’t even invested in them yet.

Author blurb: It’s been years since June Bell shared a stolen moment with her girlhood crush, Kase McCasker. It’s been just as long since Kase’s father nixed the sale of the McCasker farm to expand the grounds of the Bell’s grand hotel. Now that Kase is back home for good, June might be the only person who can persuade him to reconsider the abandoned plan. But how can she face him again after he left her without a word?

Four years ago, unexpected news shook the foundation of Kase McCasker’s world. Escaping Falls Edge for college was the perfect excuse to chase his demons and bury his pain. Now, with a degree in hand and a void he can’t fill, he’s back in the little mountain town he thought he’d never call home again. Searching for purpose, he’s determined to put down roots and take over the struggling farm that’s been in his family for generations.

Time and distance haven’t taken the edge off his preoccupation with June, the spitfire daughter of his father’s rival. He hasn’t forgotten their time together and all the things they did and didn’t do. One look at her has him reconsidering the future and making a dangerous deal to win her over. Is a chance at her heart worth risking everything else?

Meredith Wild was able to show us what amazing hearts both Kase and June have. Not only has June not dated basically she has done nothing but work as seeking more seems impossible if all she sees is lost chances. Kase knows he should leave her alone because after four years away the pull to June is as strong as ever.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review.

"It's not my story to tell."

This isn't my favorite in the Misadventures Series, but I still enjoyed it. June is the virginal lamb in this short story pining over Kase who has just returned back into town. The tow had shared a moment before Kase left for college. The book kept me engaged and it is very well written, but it was just not for me. I highly recommend reading the Misadventures Series these books have all been very engaging and H-O-T!

Juune’s girlhood crush had been Kase. They had been at a party one night and ended up alone and kissed. June never forgot that kiss or Kase. but right after that kase left without even a goodbye. Kase had left for college but really it was a good excuse as everything he had thought to be true were all lies and he had just found out. Gerald was June's father and they both lived at the Grand hotel which Gerald owned June’s mother had died when she was young. Gerald wanted to expand his business and he would have to buy Kase’s family farm to do this but then Kase leaves and the deal falls through. Gerald and Kase’s father Edwin had been feuding for a long Kase had secretly wanted June while in HS but she was really too young. June had felt the same way about being with Kase. June had worked at her father’s hotel since she was thirteen and she still did. She spent most of her time at the hotel and didn’t go out much. Then after four years Kase came home and wanted to take over his family farm as it had been in their family for many generations. Kase wanted to make it profitable again. Then Edwin comes to visit and mentions to June Kase is home and she may want to pay Kase a visit. Gerald tells June to go see Kase and talk him into signing the ranch over. Kase says he doesn’t remember June’s name when she comes to visit and she over heard them when Edwin had went to get Kase. Kase took off to the creek to swim off the day and June follows him and they have words. She had saved herself for Kase and this was how he was acting. The next day Kase comes to see Gerald and tells him that if he gets two weeks of June’s company at the farm he will sign over the land to Gerald. Kase wants June to spend two weeks at the farm to have an idea what he is giving up. Kase and June fall in love but then family secrets threaten to tear them apart.
I enjoyed this book and it was a quick enjoyable read. I liked the pace as well as the plot. I loved Kase and June together. I didn’t really care for Gerald he was a greedy ass. I did choke up at times. I did feel this was well written. But I felt one teenage kiss was a little unrealistic for June to wait for years for Kase especially not hearing a word from him or even being sure he would come back. I liked the twists in this book. There were other things in this book that weren’t realistic as far as I was concerned but it wasn’t enough to make me want to not finish reading this book. I liked the characters for the most part and I loved the twists in this book and I recommend.

I really wanted to like this book. I have enjoyed some of the other Misadventure books. However, I feel the story is not cohesive and the sex scenes alone won't make the book. I want to read a story, not written porn. This book needs a little more substance

June Bell and Kase McCasker grew up in the same town and lived next to each other. Before Kase left for college four years ago, he and June shared their first kiss but after Kase left for college, June never really saw him since he rarely came home.

June worked for her father at their upscale hotel in the small town where most people rely on multiple jobs to make ends meet. June's father has been trying to buy the McCasker property that is next to the hotel for years and almost did but Kase's father backed out at the last minute.

June finds out that she has to convince Kase to have his father sell the property to her dad but Kase's stipulation for agreeing is to have June spend 2 weeks with him on his father's property! June agrees and as she finds out, Kase never forgot about her and seems to reciprocate her feelings. Kase is very possessive and upfront with June about his feelings.

As they spend time together, June's feelings for Kase grows and they admit their love to each other. However, Kase lets June know of some secrets between him and his father and the McCasker and the Bell family. June finally learns the truth about her deceased mother and the feud between the 2 families.

June and Kase must figure out if they trust in their love enough to get over the past and determine if they can have a future together.

I have read all the books in the Misadventures series so far and they are are so, so good. I've read all of Ms. Wild's books and love them all and this book is no different!

This is about a young girl (20) who once kissed a boy 4 years ago (he is 22 now). They did not actually know each other and he left for college after that kiss, but now he is back and they behave like they have always been in love. She is a virgin but not for long. I was actually flabbergasted how to these two immediately had sex when they actually knew each other for a couple of hours IRL. It was not even a hot hookup. There was no chemistry and no background story!

I don't like giving bad reviews but I really disliked the storyline. Meredith Wild can write great stories, so maybe I am in the wrong age category for this one.

This was very sweet. The sex scenes were good but the story was a little predictable. Everything was flat the emotional level felt the same throughout the entire read regardless of the character. If you want that HEA everything is perfect even when it's not then this will be for you.

Having missed the previous book in the series, I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. It was slightly similar to Misadventures on the Night Shift, but it had a more erotic twist. Something just felt off to me about this book though.

June and Kase were interesting enough main characters and their history was very detailed, but I really didn't buy June's virginal status. She came across as too knowledgeable about intimacy to me. I did like Kase, though I felt that he kept playing around with D/s and not actually going one way or the other with it.

The book was well paced and interesting, despite my problems with the main characters. I especially liked the extended epilogue of the book, as we got to see what happened after the romance part of the story. I'm eager to read the next books in the series!

MISADVENTURES OF A VIRGIN is the fourteenth book in the Misadventures series. Each stands completely on its own with no reference to another in the series.

The heart knows what the heart wants. June’s wants Kase enough to save her virginity for four long years not even knowing if he will return to their small town. Kase wants June, not believing he will ever get more than their one stolen moment four years ago because of the family feud.

I feel like singing Willy Wonka style, “Come with me. Suspend a bit of reality. See what happens in this story…”

Kase is Dominant and that leads to some hawt foreplay and sex with light BDSM in these early days of their relationship, but first they have to get to that point. That’s where the suspending reality part comes in. Some scenes just seemed forced – like the first time June sees Kase at the farm, he runs to the creek to get naked, she follows, and then she leaves after getting her eyeful. Kase becoming an accomplished, gentle, patient Dom at his young age and in only the four years he’s been gone? Another suspension of reality, in my humble opinion. Still, I invite you to suspend those realities, because the romantic gestures are sigh-worthy, the characters are sweet, and this second-chance story is worth it. I know that I couldn’t put it down and completed it one evening.

Yes, this virgin has found her misadventure and his name is Kase.

Note: while I was given this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Favorite Quote:

I’m just not into that scene. Like, if a guy wants to tie me up, I figure he’s getting ready to hide a body.

My Review:

I continue to sally forth with my fixation with this super steamy and sweet romance series by Meredith Wild although the books should come with a warning as they appear to be habit-forming and put me at risk for dehydration. This installment was a New Adult second chance at romance for a young couple whose neighboring families had been at odds while harboring resentful secrets and deceiving the young couple all their lives. The story was engaging and highly passionate as they established and their relationship and discovered and explored their sensual compatibility. You will most likely need fans on high and cool drinks at the ready regardless of the weather.
