4.5☆ I'm really loving the Misadventures series and this latest installment by Meredith Wild did not disappoint. As it was such a sweet, enjoyable, second chance romance. That had great characters plenty of sexy times and even a few long held secrets. That altogether made it extremely had to put down but totally worth reading and I would happily recommend it to others.

I’ve enjoyed the Misadventures series but something about this one didn’t work for me. The story was a little convoluted & not clear. There was a lot going on with the back story of the main characters that really didn’t seem to work. I think there were too many issues with Kase having a problem with who his parents are & June’s mother’s story. I guess that’s gives them something in common but it’s a lot. I like the characters of Kase & June just didn’t quite feel their connection. Not a bad story but not great either.

A 5 +++ stars read for me. Kase is finally back in town after being away for the past few years. The last time June saw him she thought they had made a connection despite their fathers on going feud. She has waited for him forever. Now is her chance to see if they are meant to be together. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are willing to go to great lengths to be together. Their path won't be smooth, there are past secrets that need to be revealed and resolved before this delightful couple can find a way to be together and reach their HEA. Meredith Wild is one of my favorite authors.

Another great addition to the Misadventures series.

I’m loving these misadventures books so much. You get a bit of everything in each new book that release and I can’t get enough of them. I’m addicted to these books and super excited to see the next book in this series as I just want to get my hands on it so I can totally enjoy the pleasure of these stories. Would recommend

FINAL DECISION: I really enjoyed this second chance at love story. The story is sweet and its depth reflects its short length, but I liked the characters and found the story interesting.

THE STORY: June Bell has spent her life helping her father in his hotel. His plans to expand in the small town have been stymied by the McCasker family with whom June's father has had a feud with for years. Now Kase McCasker has returned to town. Four years ago he left after a scorching kiss between June and Kase and the revelation of a secret that sent Kase's world spinning. Kase has returned and June might be the only reason that Kase is willing to consider her father's deal.

OPINION: This was an enjoyable and easy to read story. I thought that the connection between these two was good and there was some drama as to what Kase's motives are. I liked the progress of the story and there was enough plot twists to keep the story interesting. The connection between Kase and June pre-exists the beginning of this story so this is really about these two rediscovering one another.  There is a sweetness to the story combined with some real heat in the sexual encounters. That combination makes a good story. This book is one of my favorites in the series so far.

This story focuses on June and her previous relationship with Kase. It also shows that June will do whatever it takes to try and expand on the hotel her father owns. This includes spending time with Kase as part of a deal that he has arranged. In this deal he askes for June to spend time on his farm and get to know both him and the land they are trying to buy. This is such a heartfelt story and I loved every minute of it.

Kase and June have a past that.ended not too well. June's father wants the land that Kase's dad owns to expand his resort. Kase returns to help his father on the farm and makes a deal with her dad in exchange for the land. Plans are made and secrets come to light about the hatred between the dads. The storyline is good, kept me interested and wanting to read more. Loved the ending and will definitely read more from this author.

June has been in love with Kase since she was 16 and he was 18. But after 1 kiss, he went off to college without so much as a goodbye to her. 4 years later he's back trying to save his family farm from being bought out by June's father (so he can expand his hotel / resort business). Kase makes a deal with June's dad that he will sell the farm to him if June spends 2 weeks at the farm with him and no interruptions. While Kase and June are at the farm by themselves, they give in to their desires, but family secrets will haunt them. Will June escape the 2 weeks without involving her heart? Will Kase leave the farm forever after the 2 weeks is up?


This is a very steamy romance that will make your heart melt. And you won't believe the family secrets that are unveiled. This is a great short read that will get you all hot and bothered.

Misadventures of a Virgin (Misadventures, #14) by Meredith Wild I enjoyed this second chance romance between Kase and June Bell...The long standing feud and bad feelings...4 long years apart ... the farm the hotel ....this is a good story with a HEA.

A very sweet story of star crossed lovers. Kase has returned home determined to make something if the family farm. June has wondered why he left years ago without a backwards glance. She's done some growing up, but is still the untried, sheltered daughter of the biggest hotel owner in the area.
Old hurts and family feuds can't dowse the flames when Kace and June are together. They're spent too much time fighting the attraction and now it's time to give it a chance to burn them both.

June Bell is a sweet country girl with big ambitions for her family hotel. She doesn't take alot of  personal time and has no need to since she gave her heart away a long time ago to a boy off limits.

Kase McCaster left town four years ago to escape his past. He has returned to Falls Edge to focus on his future and move on with his life.

June and her father want to buy the McCaster farm to expand thier hotel. Kase wants June's heart more than the land so he makes a deal she can't refuse. Niether of them knew that secrets from the past would be uncovered and hearts would so quickly be tested.

Misadventures of a Virgin was a fantastic book. I loved every word of it and couldn't put it down. June and Kase had chemistry that was off the charts!! There was no lack of phenominal sex scenes and you had a great story to go along with them. I cared about the characters and was anxious to see them work out thier problems to reach thier happily ever after. I have read a few books from the Misadventures series and this has definatly taken the spot as my favorite!

OMG!!!! I love this book. I have read other books from this series and I have to say they do NOT disappoint. If you have not read this book I totally recommend on reading this. You will thank me later.

I am loving this Misadventures series so much and Misadventures of a Virgin is such a great read! I absolutely enjoyed the vivid detail of the setting. It was clear and concise,I wanted to be in Falls Edge at McCasker Farms.
June and Kase have history no boy does it run deep for two people in their early 20"s. They shared a few stolen moments when they were in high school and then Kase was gone. No warning, no note, no call... just gone. June was stuck on pause for 4 years, left wondering why Kase left her. Events lead to Kase comeing back to town and therefore the inevitable run in with June and her Father.
I would love to tell you the in's and out's of why they are brought back together, but I want you to read it and understand their shared past.
Kase and June are combustible when they give in to each other , I mean smoldering. The spark that was once there is ignited once again and it can no longer be ignored or extinguished.
This book has it all; it is smoking hot; it has a intriguing back story; it has characters that made you fall in love with them. I was totally vested in well being and how this book ended,. One word...EPILOGUE and it does not disappoint.

Bookish people, Another cute and very short story in this world. This is second chance romance, June and Kase have known each other for a long time and now its time for them to have each other. its filled with heart warming moments, a lot of passion and sexy bedroom time.

Okay this is another cute and sweet short story of second chance romance. June and Kase have known each other forever. Kase found out a secret about his past and left town for college without a back glance at his former best friend. Four years later, Kase came back to Falls Edge intending to plant roots and help run his failing family farm. Kase and June’s fathers have a secret past and been feuding forever, which complicate June and Kase’s relationship. June would have to make some difficult decision between her family and her love.
When Kase left town he broke June’s heart – will she be able to forgive Kase’s mistake and rekindle their romance? Kase has quite a bit of groveling to do – starting by proposing a tricky deal of Kase selling his farm to June’s father in exchange for June staying with him for a week.
This is a short story so I feel like everything is a bit rush – the reunion, and the chemistry etc. However, true to Meredith’s style – this was another gorgeous, passionate and heart-warming romance. I love the plot, the feisty June and swoony sexy Kase.

Would you do anything for a second chance at love? The first time is supposed to be memorable, and this is one that will knock your socks off and leave you dreaming of summer nights on a farm.

A crazy offer, two weeks together and enough heat to melt a glacier. Don't wait. This story is filled with secrets, desire, and the ability to find love a second time around.

I love all Meredith’s books! All of them! This was just amazing! I consumed it whole,couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend to everyone

Another fabulous story in the Misadventures series.

June Bell and her father Gerald, own and run a stunning upmarket hotel in the picturesque town of Falls Edge.
June lives an idyllic life with every convenience a hotel could offer but she chooses to be hands on, working in the bar area and servicing guests.

Kase McCasker is the boy who stole a first kiss from June, but he also stole her heart and now he’s back to work on the family fam with his father Edwin.

Kase and June have history and Meredith Wild explores their past beautifully, explaining the family dynamic with clarity.

Their story is riveting, laced with sexual tension and panty melting moments but also exploring deeper emotional moments and just making you want to see a Kase and June het their HEA.

No spoiler but suffice to say you should read and enjoy every word of this book. Addictive reading and a seriously addictive series.

Second chance romance

Meredith Wild is an author that I enjoy reading. She creates likable characters which is something I want in my romances.
June and Kase were likable but they and their fathers all seemed to have too many past secrets. That's a real draw for some readers but just got to be a bit too much for me.
I received an Advance Reader copy from NetGalley.

June Bell and Kase McCasker have their first kiss just before he goes off to college. she has not seen or heard from him since but that hasn't dulled her feelings for him. Now he's back in town.

Kase McCasker was dealt a horrible blow just before leaving for college four years ago. Everything he believed to be true, turned out to be lies. He needs to get away!

June however has never left the small town of Falls Edge and works in the hotel her daddy owns. A hotel that could easily be expanded if the McCaskers will just sell their land!

The relationship between June and Kase develops very quickly, if four years can be considered quick! A deal is struck to ensure the sale of the land but a mutual desire soon takes the focus of both June and Kase. But hey, this is romance, does anything ever go completely smoothly? Absolutely not!

There are misunderstandings, lies of omission and hurt feelings as one would expect.

This was a quick, fairly pleasurable read. There is nothing to dislike about these young lovers. The story line is simple and isn't at all taxing to read. Definitely a good way to spend a wet Saturday afternoon to help decompress from the stress of the working week.
