A quirky, sparkly, funny romance that is typical Stefanie London. Beckett and McKenna's story is filled with witty banter and a sharp dialog that is dotted with one liners delivered by McKenna...delivered with comedic timing no less...that literally will leave you with tears of laughter. McKenna's sassiness is counterpoint to Beckett's logical, black and white view of the world. He grounds her while she brings magic into his world.

I'm a big fan of Ms London's writing and always on the lookout for her latest release...can't wait to see what she has in store next.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review

To appear in a "Book Feature" post on my blog in early November, focusing on books I have yet to do a full review for.

Stefanie London is becoming a favourite author of mine.

Loved this book! It was something I could relate to. Your most awkward packages always end up going to someone else's house.

Trouble Next Door was my most recent train read (or if you follow me on Twitter as @roz_groves, #metroread), and I loved every minute of it. From the misdelivered electric "friend" to the undeniable chemistry between McKenna and Beckett (their differences and similarities complimenting each other's perfectly), to the excellently balanced mix of humour and emotion, this was a really enjoyable and fun romance.

I have followed Stefanie's writing journey since before she was published, and her style and her voice get better with every book. Can't wait to see what is next.

Trouble Next Door is a fun, lighthearted, opposites attract romp. McKenna has sworn off men after being dumped by her boring boyfriend, who decided she didn't fit in with his life plan. So after drunk ordering a vibrator online and accidentally typing in the wrong address, she has to embarrassingly go ask her hot neighbor if he has her package. Beckett is a gorgeous blond guy who has said maybe 3 words to her in the entire time they've been neighbors. He mostly just grunts at her and avoids eye contact with her, especially when he's with his equally gorgeous blonde girlfriend. Imagine McKenna's surprise when she goes to retrieve her package and finds that Beckett's girlfriend has broken up with him. That's where her plan comes in - she help him get his girlfriend back, and in turn he give her name to his sister as a makeup artist for his sister's upcoming wedding.

Sounds like a good plan, but what will happen when pesky feelings get in their way? When Beckett starts to realize he doesn't want his girlfriend back, the girlfriend with whom he has no spark? And instead feels right with McKenna, sparkly, vibrant, bright McKenna who chatters a lot but gives him peace to the thoughts constantly running through his head. And even more distressing, what happens when Beckett pulls a serious d bag move and decides he does need his girlfriend back, after having spent a passionate, steamy night with McKenna, getting her hopes up that she's finally met a man who likes her the way she is, for whom she is?

If you're in the mood for something lighthearted with an absolutely adorable heroine, 1-click Trouble Next Door today. It's sweet, it's witty, and McKenna and Beckett are an adorable, sexy couple of opposites.

McKenna Prescott is done with men and in a moment of clarity she decides to order herself some pseudo boyfriends that she can keep safely in a drawer at home. What she never expected was to be knocking on her gruff neighbors door and having him know the contents of her box.

Beckett Walsh is trying to figure out why his fiancee dumped him and with her father pulling the funding from his app, he is back to square one. Determined to get his ex back he ends up getting help from McKenna, he needs to stay focused on getting his ex back but everything about McKenna is a distraction and he finds he has never been happier then he is with her. Can Beckett what is in front of him before it is too late?

Witty and full of surprises. I thought this was one of those books you pick up and just giggle through out. McKenna is radiant and draws you in right away. I liked that Beckett is completely opposite and they work. Checking out more from this talented author.

Imagine the embarrassment when McKenna’s sex toy gets delivered to the wrong address. Unfortunately it was to her hot neighbor Beckett’s apartment. McKenna thinks he is hot but she is on a man detox so it’s a no go from her. And when she finds out whom Beckett’s sister is, she decides on a mutually beneficial relationship. He can talk her up to his sister so she can be her wedding makeup artist and she will help him get his ex-back. Spending time together they can’t help but grow close, but that can only spell trouble when Beckett wants another and McKenna doesn’t want anyone at all. McKenna and Beckett are total opposites. She is very fashionable and quirky but she has a good head on her shoulders. Beckett is very structured and focused but he can loosen up with the right person. I really loved these two together. I was a little iffy on them for a minute because Beckett just went a little too far at one point. I didn’t know if he would redeem himself. In the end I really loved the resolution to this story. I can’t believe this is my first read by this author because this book was really good. Definitely plan on reading more books by her.

Trouble Next Door was an adorable read!! I loved the McKenna was a makeup artist- I'm not much of a girlie girl but the author made me want to be. I loved how Beckett truly loved McKenna for who she was.

Great read by a gifted author. Look forward to reading more by Stefanie London.

I enjoyed this book, it was really..McKenna had recently gotten dumped and up ordering some intimate objects online her new proclaimed self-love. Unfortunately her items get dropped off in the wrong apartment, that of her hottie neighbor Beckett who is also newly single. Beckett has always been attracted to McKenna but since he had a fiance never spoke to her, he tends to grunt since McKenna makes him feel different. McKenna and Beckett set up to help each other, but as they spend time develop feelings..What happens, you should read it is a nice pick me up..Enjoy!

A funny and very cute romantic comedy that tells how Mackenna approaches her neighbor and the unfolding of this friendship. Mackenna is a character who has a low self esteem after has been dumped by her boyfriend .When she meets Beckett she realizes a chance to improve her makeup career. Beckett is also frustrated after his bride dumped him and her father who would invest in an app he created.
I loved the cover and the title, both perfectly match the idea of the book.
I loved the scenes in which the two begin to give themselves the atraction they feel for each other.
Narrated third-person writing with engaging and fluid writing brings a love story about how to perceive who the right person is for you and how to fight for it.

I enjoyed reading this book looking at McKennas life and problems. Based around two characters who seem to fi tin and out of each others lives.

This was my first Stefanie London book and it certainly won’t be my last! I loved this book, a nice light hearted easy read that hooked me right from the beginning- lots of laughs, plenty of emotion and just enough angst to keep you going without making it over the top!

Another fantastic Australian Author! 4.5 stars!

I don't know what 's happening this year with me and NetGalley but I haven't been requesting that many books. So I ended up requesting this one without knowing what to expect. I have read one Stefanie London book previously but I went to this one without knowing that much but I ended up enjoying it quite a lot.

One of the things I liked were the characters. First we had McKenna. I loved her. She's one of those girls who knows what she wants to do with her life. It might be taking her a long time to get there but she does what she wants even if not everyone agrees with her choices. However, she's quite unlucky with guys which takes her to the place she is in the beginning of the book. I also liked Beckett but I had a few problems with him. I loved that he's an introvert and prefers to keep to himself. What I didn't like was that he tried to go back to his ex mostly for the opportunities he would get. I understand that he wanted to help his family but there are other ways to do it. These two also had an amazing chemistry and I loved their interactions. The only thing I would like even more was if their relationship was more developed. Some things felt to fast in my opinion and there were some things that could have been more explored. I also really enjoyed the writing. It was a fast book and it flew easily. I also really enjoyed the dual POV. You all know how much I love my dual POV's XD.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. There were some things that I would have liked to see being done differently and I would loved a little more development but I ended liking this book and I definitely recommend this one.

Tempting reading often appears at the most unexpected times and leaves a lasting impression. With a laugh out loud storyline and a heavy dose of heart, Trouble Next Door has much to offer. McKenna is a tad needy and Beckett tends to be a bit too clueless. Nothing good can come from this combination, but it turns out to be gold. Amidst the over the top wedding and the equally flighty personas, McKenna and Beckett learn about themselves and each other. It only takes some soul searching to show a person is most beautiful, when being true to themselves. Inspiring words to live by.
