Very amazing book! Bohdi is dead set to not have a relationship. He is a special ops guy who does rescue missions. After losing his own father in a rescue mission when he was young, he wanted to do this as his career so others could come home. Bridgette is a very tough character. She lost her husband and is raising their son as well as running a business. These two have instant sparks. Add in Roxie's lotions, which may have played a part, and these two can't keep their hands off each other. Their idea to keep it one night fails miserably. Bohdi also falls hard for her little boy, who is really a cutie! So they are faced with whether or not to be together when he is heading out for training. Great characters and an amazing story of love winning.

A beautiful, heart warming story of love, lust and desire.

Upon the sudden loss of her husband, Bridgette Dalton returns home to her family to raise her young son, and open her flower shop. For many years, this was her only focus, she wasn't interested in a relationship. However, she did not count on Bodhi Booker moving in to renovate the house next door, or who he would start to invade her dreams. Little does she know that she is starting to invade his.

Can they both take a chance on love and each other?

I really enjoyed this book and getting to know more about the Dalton Family. Now to wait for for the next instalment.

I am so happy to see a book about Bridgette. We met her previously in other books and really got to meet her more in Willow’s book so I am glad we got to focus on Bridgette and her life as a single mom. (And who can resist her adorable son!)

I can only imagine how difficult it is, being a single mom and being lonely but also cautious of what you are bringing into your child’s life and that sums up Bridgette to a T.

Bodhi is your typical hot, delicious, sizzling, yummy Melissa Foster leading man so I knew that I would fall in love with him in mere seconds and mere seconds is all it took. (I am telling you, the men in Melissa’s life – where do I find me some of them!? Even with their minor flaws, they are always hunky inside and out!)

And who can resist a hunk of a man and a little adorable boy!?

Bodhi and Bridgette both had baggage of their own sorts that were brought to the table which made me want to root for them even more and cheer them on.

And I am telling you, Melissa can write a romantic love story better than any other author I have read. She makes everything so lifelike and believable that I sometimes, I wish I could go back in time and wait forever for my hunky Melissa Foster man.

Regardless of book one or two or even further down the line, any of Melissa’s books can be read as a stand alone – including Only For You. You aren’t missing anything that will leave you lost in the dust if you pick up the story now. I promise.

Never, ever, pass up a Melissa Foster romance. Ever. You will not regret it!

Oh my goodness, Bohdi and Bridgette were so sweet and charming. Add in Bridgette's adorable kid and you've got another classic Melissa Foster. The Suger Lake series never disappoints. I should have reviewed this ages ago, but seeing this on my shelf now reminds me of how much I should give it a re-read.

Only for You is a great second book to this series. A passionate love story between a widowed Bridgett and tough guy Bodhi. Bridgett had the perfect love with her first husband and never thought she would find that kind of love again. She moved back to her small hometown and the neighbor Bodhi catches her eye. Bodhi seems a little standoffish at first, but soon the chemistry between them heats up. I laughed so much while reading this book, and the way Bodhi treats Bridgett's son made my heart melt. As usual Melissa Foster does not disappoint. Love, Love LOVE this story!

I want to live in Sugar Lake. The family get togethers, the small town shops, the amazing friendships, and the gossip are all part of Sugar Lake. I want all of that and more. Plus I want to be neighbors of Bodhi, Bridgette, Zane and Willow.

This is Bodhi and Bridgette’s story. The story of a soldier who was taught not to leave anyone behind and knows that each mission is dangerous. He cannot imagine leaving Bridgette after falling for her not knowing if he will ever come back. Bridgette promised to live in the here and now and not fall for Bodhi. After they spend time together she knows that will not be the way her life ends up. I love how hot and steamy their relationship started. There was no slow burn, there were no doubts, and there was no way they would not be together. The sparks started from the first time they saw each other and turned into a full blown fire quickly. I liked how the rest of the town knew what was happening even though Bodhi and Bridgette were trying to keep it a secret.

The rest of the residents of Sugar Lake are just as wonderful as Bodhi and Bridgette. It was fun to catch up with Zane and Willow from the first Sugar Lake book in the series. This is a series that I have put on my must read list. I definitely recommend picking up your own copy asap.

Be still my heart. Bridgette and Bohdi will capture your heart and pull on every emotion known to man in this book. In true Melissa Foster fashion, our hero and heroine face trials that may seem difficult to some but Melissa knows her characters and what they can handle. We always get our HEA even if certain parts in the book make us gasp, OH NO!
Bridgette, a single mother that is no stranger to heartache. After losing her husband five years ago in a tragic accident when their son was very young, she dusts herself off from the limelight of her old life as a rockstar wife, and heads back to Sweetwater to start fresh. She opens her flower shop adjacent to her sister, Willow's bakery. And finds just the right groove for her son and herself.
Bohdi, a special agent who doesn't want to break hearts he wants the HEA he reads about in the romance novels he devours, but that doesn't make him less of a tough guy. He takes his job seriously. Bridgette sets his soul on fire, and gives her an option when he is called back in to duty. Will she let him go or will he break his commitment to stay with the woman he loves out of dangers way?
A page turner for sure that you won't want to put down. The second book in the Sugar Lake Series does not disappoint. Happy Reading!

The love in this book is tangible! Bodhi is a Alpha male of the first order with a sensitive side that we all LOVE! Bridgette is a strong single mom who needs an Alpha male....to help her with her baby male! A wonderful story that winds and wanders and lets you fall in love all over again! Thank you Melissa Foster for your way with words!

Did not download this before it was archived.

I wish there was a way to remove these titles that we did not download and were accidentally added to out queue. This book was published two years ago and it will not drop off and is affecting my percentage as a result.

Only for You is the second book in the Sugar Lake series but Bridgette has appeared in other books by Foster. Bridgette is a single mother who lost her husband too early. It is so easy to empathize with Bridgette and the struggle she goes through as she starts to realize that it is not "all or nothing" in a relationship. As Bridgette realizes that she can put herself out there again, a curveball comes from left field as the readers learn that Bodhi has reservations as well, and for good reason.

Although I knew that the book would end with a happily ever after, how Bridgette and Bodhi ultimately came together was definitely a surprise.

I would definitely recommend this book to people who are looking for the passion that a single mother has as she tests the waters of a new relationship.

The bad boy meets the single mom. Bodhi and Bridgette. Hands off vs. hands on. And so the story goes...Or so you think it goes.

Bridgette Dalton is the widowed single mom of a preschooler. She is surrounded by family, yet somehow still lonely. Knowing her every move will ultimately have an impact on her son Louie, Bridgette is careful and deliberate with what she does. Things matter. He comes first.

Bodhi Baker is big, bad and mysterious. He treats his dog like his child, knows the language of flowers and reads romance novels, yet gives off some serious "keep away" vibes. Only in town to fix up his mom's house next door to Bridgette's, there is no future for them yet their chemistry is off the charts.

As you can probably guess, Bridgette and Bodhi cannot deny their sparks. However, Bodhi cannot put Bridgette and Louie through more loss due to the nature of his employment. And Bridgette will never put her needs in front of her son's. It will only set everyone up for heartache. But it is how they mutually agree to evolve that made this book stand out from the others. This is the first Melissa Foster book that made me cry. Twice.

The story of Bridgette, Bodhi, Louie and Dahlia is one that will fill and break your heart simultaneously. I highly recommend you read this wonderful story of second chances at love.

Review...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS
Although this is book two in the Sugar Lake series, it can be read as a stand alone.  As many of Melissa Foster's regular readers may know, many of her books and series have carry over characters from another book or series so you can get glimpses of those whose stories you may have previously enjoyed which is often a lot of fun for the reader.  This particular book is the story of Bohdi and Bridgette though and one that I adored from the beginning.  The basics of the plot are in the synopsis already so I will pass on going over that again, but there is also so much more to the story than what can be written in those short few paragraphs.  Both Bohdi and Bridgette exude strength and were content with their lives prior to meeting one another and both had commitments to something they felt was bigger and greater than themselves that impacted their decisions when it came to their relationship.  The dialogue and banter in this book had me smiling and giggling at times and left me near tears at other moments.  Melissa Foster is able to make the reader really engage with the story and characters and feel the emotions as they read which is what makes a book beautiful for the reader.  Only for You did just that for me.  I can't wait to read more and hopefully catch glimpses of Bohdi,

Seriously. I mean, for real. How is it possible that there are only 5 stars as an option?!! This book needs waaaay more than the allotted five. Just when I think there can never be another hero who gives me the giddy, warm tingles Melissa goes and creates the hero of all heros, Bodhi. *sigh* Mr Booker, you've stolen my entire heart. Yes, I've moved on from seeing him as fictional to looking for him in the store aisles and in the trucks parked next to me at the stop light. (absolutely no clue what I'd do if I actually found him other than make a complete fool of myself.)

Ok, so there's Bodhi, *sigh* (yes! another one!) and then there's Bridgette with her little man, Louie, who, by the way, is quite possibly THE most adorable little boy. Ever. But see, there can't be a Bodhi and Bridgette because gruff-man Bodhi doesn't DO relationships and Bridgette isn't looking to get her heart broken again. So they have their "here and now". And holy hotness with a tablespoon of sugar, it's definitely hot. No, it's not easy with a curious little boy but they make it work. Until they don't. It's about that time that your heart gets shredded, tears start falling, and juuuuuust when you think "ok, I've got this, *sniffle", I can do this, *sob*," your heart breaks a little more. But, you'll be happy to know that Melissa is ALL about the HEA and does not disappoint in that area. AT ALL!! Sure, you'll go though the ringer to get there, but hello? That is exactly what makes a 5+⭐ story!! There won't be another story greater than this one. *sigh*

Wow!! Loving this Sugar Lake series!! I was really looking forward to Bridgette and Bodhi's book! Bridgette and her son Louie meet Bodhi when he moves in next door to renovate his mother's new house. With sparks flying between these two, they try to keep it casual but the walls break down around them. There are many twist and tugs of the heart that make you smile, laugh and shed a few tears!! Will these two be able to accept their love or will they walk away?? Don't hesitate to one click this book and slide into this fabulous story!!!

Always an interesting story. The characters are down to earth and you'll either love them or hate them. This story will have you laughing and then crying., just like life.

Another unputdownable read from Melissa Foster!

Bridgette and Bodhi had a beautiful connection and chemistry. When you throw in Bridgette's son, you have a swoon worthy romance novel, that will leave you invested in the characters and story long after you have finished reading.

I loved that these two characters didn't jump into a relationship right away. They were cautious. They new that their lives were dramatically different, and they didn't want to jeopardize anything without being sure that they were meant to be. For this reason, I highly enjoyed seeing their relationship progress. They wanted to me together. They were definitely attracted to one another, which made the fight to stay away that much harder.

I devoured this novel in one sitting. I can't wait to see where Melissa takes the third book in the series.

5/5 Stars!

I absolutely adored this book. Willow and Zane are amazing together. The Dalton family as a whole are wonderful too.

Talk about a book that pulls at your heartstrings!! Melissa tugged at mine so hard with this book that I thought they might break! Bridgette and Bodhi  both have unique experiences that lead them to live a life where they don't make forever promises. From Bridgette losing her husband to Bodhi being deployed, they understand that life can change in an instant. However, fate always wins when love is the play at hand. Even though both characters are stubborn in this way of thinking, they can't deny that they've met "the one" who will turn their world upside down. Having read this on my phone, I was afraid I might throw my phone in excitement of the anticipation for their hearts to win over their logical minds. Louie is a super adorbs addition to their story! He is proof enough that we all need to place ourselves in the mind and ways of a 5-year-old. Life and love would be so much easier if we operated like Louie! A lot of tears were shed because of their "right here, right now" situations as you always want live vicariously through their romance but goodness, I'd been one hot mess if I was in their shoes! As always, Melissa fulfilled my desire to have a book move me through an assortment of emotions!

I loved this book. Bodhi Booker is an intense, badass guy with a dangerous job and no time for distractions while he renovates his mothers house in Sweetwater, but that is exactly what his next door neighbour is becoming. Bridgette Dalton is wound tight with the stress of work and single motherhood following the death of her husband, and as her sisters say, in desperate need of a good time. This book has all the things I've come to expect from a Melissa Foster book, with hot heroes, sassy heroines and just enough angst. Loved it.

his book was fantastic! Bodhi was the dream man, even as he was trying not to fall for Bridgette and her son. I found myself wishing I could meet a man so caring, handy, and good with children. Bridgette was hesitant to let Bodhi into their lives because he was their neighbor only temporarily, but he ended up earning the hearts of both Bridgette and and her son. This story was a great read and one I highly recommend. Bridgette's sister got her story in an earlier book, but reading that book is not required to enjoy this story.
