Emotionally gripping, thrilling, engaging, quirky fun romantic journey that sneaks up on our unsuspecting couple that is not looking for forever, but finds it anyway.

Bridgette Dalton is sexy, sassy fun and a single mom that has been burned by love in the past and is only looking to raise her son, run her flower shop, and possibly have some fun sexy nights with her new hot as sin neighbor. Bodhi Booker is a hot, sexy, charming alpha male between deployments and not looking for forever, but he finds it incredibly hard to resist wanting forever with Bridgette and her adorable son. Highly entertaining late night reading.

Sexy small town romance that mixes a temporary neighbours theme with a single mom and special ops man

Only for You is a sexy small town romance that mixes a neighbours theme with a single mom and a special ops man who is only temporarily in town. This wonderful, light-hearted book takes common themes and spins them to feel refreshingly unique with just the right amount of angst, surprising twists, and heartwarming emotions that will leave any romance fan feeling satisfied.

Bridgette and Bodhi, who tell the book from dual perspective, have a smoking hot attraction that is mixed in with some sugary sweet humorous moments and innuendos given the little ears around them in Bridgette’s son, Louie. Both Bridgette and Bodhi are strong and fierce individual characters who know what they have to do in order to protect those they love, even if it’s not always what the heart wants; Bridgette is a really likeable woman who has you rooting for her from the very start as she deserves a happily ever after, or at least some fun, while Bodhi is one of my favourite ever males with his serious outlook but sweet heart. Louie was such a super adorable little boy and I loved both Bodhi’s and Bridgette’s relationship with him. For those who read the first book, we get to catch up on familiar faces who are as wonderful as ever.

This is the perfect heart warming read with a sweet, realistic happiness ending that will leave you feeling all fuzzy. I can’t recommend this book or series enough (this book can be read as a standalone) - I loved it!

5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Melissa Foster does it again with her next book in the Sugar Lake series. She weaves a story of two lost people who find happiness with each other even though they are not able to give each other more than a few weeks. Bodhi grabs your attention from page one and you will be wishing he was your next door neighbor, from his generosity with Bridgette’s son to his hot body. You will be cheering Bridgette on, hoping she finally gets the happy ever after she deserves. Melissa Foster makes Sugar Lake a part of your family and you won’t want to leave.

Bodhi is just in town to help fix up his mother’s house and then check back in with his job and training in two weeks. He wasn’t expecting his next door neighbor to be so tempting. But he knows he should stay away because he isn’t here to stay.

Bridgette is trying to have a balanced life for her and her son Louie. But there are days she feels like she is failing even with the help from her family. When her next door neighbor snags her attention though, he spins her world on its axis and has her wishing for things she didn’t know she was missing. And when he takes the time with Louie, she can’t help but continue to fall for him.

Bodhi and Bridgette know there is attraction between them but they both have stipulations before beginning something. He is only here for a short time and his job is not one that he can guarantee coming back from. She can’t risk falling for a man who can’t guarantee to be there for her and Louie, so two weeks are all they have.

But will it be enough? Or will they realize that maybe they might be worth the risk?

Hooray to Melissa for another best seller!
Her Sugar Lake series is bound to be all best sellers and why not! When widowed mom Bridgett meets her sexy neighbor, steamy fireworks ensue even though Bodhi fights it. You can’t help but fall in love with Bodhi and Bridgett. I swear I swooned while reading the scenes with Bodhi and Bridgett’s son Louie. I cried a little when they were apart. I cheered when their passion was not to be denied.

Bridgette is just finally starting to feel like she has gotten her life back to a place where she can live. Getting over the loss of Jerry and moving back to her home town as a single mom with a baby has been a true struggle. She has her flower shop that is growing by the day and Louie keep her more than busy. Getting herself back out and into the dating world has been the last thing on her list. Against everyone's wishes she hasn't felt ready. Until she see the broody man in her sisters and he ignites a fire she ad totally forgotten.

Bodhi finds himself in the small quaint town of Sweetwater to fix up a cute little house for his mom for her retirement. The sassy woman he saw at the bakery weeks ago when he ws here for the purchase has been stuck in his head. Finding himself back at the bakery to look for her he discovers that she owns the flower shop and to his greater surprise she is his mothers new neighbour. Very quickly Bridgette and her cute as hell little boy have him realling.

Not you normal hook up kind of guy but he can't seem to shake the attention and chemistry they share. Louie had his interest just as much as him mom has. Being the son of a single mom, he understand all to easily the trials and tribulations, the impacts to a young child. When he discovers the attraction is mutual, sparks fly freely. Will the be successful in keeping it from Louie? Will they be able to stick to their here and now non-relationship or will hearts get involved? Will Bridgette survive when he leaves and goes back to work?

Bodhi is swoon worthy as he notices everything and is devoted to making sure he doesn't have a negative impact on Louie. He is a fixer and wants to look out for both of them.

I am excited to see which sibling will get their story next. I am thinking it just might be Ben.

Gah, have tissues handy for this one!
Melissa blew me away with the story of Bridgette & Bodhi, and let's not forget her son, Louie who will steal your heart as well!!
These two embark on a relationship that has an end date, he has to go back to his job, he's only in town, her neighbor, fixing up the house he bought for his mom! She's trying not to involve her son, but you gotta love Louie, he gets inside Bodhi's heart!
Follow their story in this 5+ infinity star book! I could not put it down, cried ugly tears, all worth it! Melissa Foster wrote an amazing story, and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her ability to tell a great story!!

Sweet lord. I’m still trying to recover from my tears and laughs and overall swoony sighs while reading Only for You. Yeah, it ticks off all my boxes: Hot, sexy, broody leading male. Check. Smart, sassy, fun leading female. Check. Great friends and family. Check. Adorable dog or kid to keep things fun. Double check.

Any parent can empathize with Bridgette Dalton’s plight. She’s a single mom, raising a precocious, fun, amazing little boy and she doesn’t want anything or anyone messing with her boy’s heart. Her heart is a bit fragile too . . . which is why she buries herself in work—running her own flower shop. She hasn’t taken the time to find someone or to love. But the gruff, hot AF next door neighbor may just be too tempting to avoid.

Bohdi Booker is in town only long enough to rehab the house his mother will retire to. He’s planning to spend only a few weeks in Sweetwater, then he’ll return to his training and his special ops job. He runs the risk of dying every time he goes out on a mission, and has vowed to never leave a wife and family behind to grieve. But he wasn’t banking on Bridgette and Louie and how his feelings are making him want to plant roots like never before.

Gah. Still working through this. Sill trying to be in the here and now but wow, I’m still swooning over the romance between Bohdi and Bridgette. They are perfect for each other—and oh my, are they hot and dirty and flirty between the sheets. I loved how their relationship progressed. Loved the bald-faced honesty with each other. Loved how neither of them could stop from falling hopelessly in love with the other.

And let’s talk about their families. Loved Bridgette and the relationship with her family, especially her sisters. So true and strong and hilariously honest. And, serious swoon time . . . I couldn’t get enough of Bohdi and Louie. Good gravy, each and every interaction between these two was hazardous to every ovary in a three mile radius.

I can’t wait for Piper and Ben’s books . . . I need more from this Sugar Lake series!

Holy moly, that was good! Bodhi & Bridgette getting together was hilarious at times, heartbreaking at others, and sigh producing a lot of the time too. Bring the tissues out before the HEA. Bodhi's budding relationship with Louie was ovary exploding. This one is going in the reread pile for when you need an awesome story.

When our heart gets broke, instinct causes us to withdraw & curl up to protect it from hurt again. Often it takes something special, like a child's love, to pull us from such a dark & dismal part of our lives. Only the truly brave & strong open themselves up to the pain again. Bridgette lost her young husband in a horrible accident. She's dedicated her life to raising her son & trying to make up for him growing up without a father. She doesn't need a man in her life. Then she runs into Bohdi in her sister's bakery. Now he's all she can think about. What is she going to do?

Bodhi is an ex-soldier that is still running rescue missions trying to save the world. He doesn't want anyone left behind like his father was. He doesn't "do" relationships, only one night stands. He feels that way, no one is apt to get hurt if he doesn't make it back from a mission. Why does Bridgette & her son make him regret that?

Melissa Foster has given her readers another story of life, love, pain, & forgiveness. Bodhi has to realize no matter how many people he saves, it will never be his father. Bridgette needs to realize that she deserves to find love again. The attraction between them is hot, intense & all consuming. The characters are well developed & realistic. I loved the way they all interact with each other. Bridgette's sisters always have her back, even if they don't agree with what she is doing. This book may be the second in the series but can be read as a stand alone. I really can't wait to see what Ms. Foster comes up with for the next one!

Bohdi Booker is the perfect Alpha Male. He's ex- Special Forces and now works for a civilian company that does covert rescue missions. He's in Sweetwater for a few weeks to get his mother's house ready for her. He doesn't have the lifestyle needed for a relationship.

Bridgette Dalton is the single mom next door who owns the local flower shop. She's too busy with her business and raising her son, Louie, for a relationship. That doesn't mean she hasn't noticed the broody, yet sexy man next door.

Can Brohdi and Bridgette have a no strings, here and now relationship?

I am absolutely in love with this book! Swoon overload and ovary exploding sexiness!!! This story totally broke my heart, but in true Melissa Foster fashion, it was put back together by the end. Little Louie stole my heart along with Bohdi's. The innocence of a young child is so sweet. I can't wait for the rest of the Dalton siblings to get their stories.

Bodhi Booker doesn't need a distraction in getting his mothers house setup for her, but his temporary neighbor and single mom Bridgette Dalton is becoming one. Bridgette is wound tight with work and raising her son and everyone things she needs a distraction but can she have a no strings attached affair with Bodhi? When feelings become involved will they both take a chance on seeing where they could lead or is it over before it really starts.

I loved Bodhi, his name, his character, just everything about him. You want this couple together from the beginning but both are fighting their attraction for one another. Charming story that pulls you in from the beginning, can't wait for more in this fantastic series.

This is the second book in this series and it was such a great read! Bodhi and Bridgette's story was slightly heartbreaking for the losses that the pair had suffered in their pasts but such a romantic read as they found love in each other while protecting Bridgette's son Louie. Their story moved along well and was enjoyable to read. I loved the interactions between Bodhi and Louie as Bodhi realized how important a role in his life Louie was starting to take. I also enjoyed the emphasis and importance of family for both Bridgette and Bodhi as well as the return of the characters from the previous book in this series. I would recommend this book to others as it was such a great read.

I honestly don’t know how a Melissa Foster is able to top each of the books she writes, but she does. Only for You is a sweet, sexy, fun romance that draws you in from the very first page. Bodhi and Bridgette are both cautious when it comes to love and relationships. Bodhi has a dangerous job, he never knows if he will return home, so he sticks to flings not wanting to get close to anyone, a true loner. Bridgette was a wild child growing up. She quit college, ran off and got married and had a baby. But her life changed when her husband was killed in an accident. She hasn’t put herself out there for any kind of relationship in fear of losing someone she loved again. Bodhi and Bridgette strike up a friendship. After time they can’t help their feelings but know that they can’t take a chance. I loved how patient and understanding Bodhi was with Bridgette and how sweet he was with her son. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

Many of our most defining moments are born of heartache and pain. What makes them prolific is that those instances are when a person is at their strongest. Ms. Foster never seems to forget that and it shows within her stories. In the face of loss, adversity and uncertainty, she inspires. Only for You is a tale of fearlessness. Bridgette is afraid of being left behind. Bodhi is a loner. His career has made him that way. A dangerous lifestyle leaves no room for a heart, when he'll only end up breaking someone else's in the long run. How does a person learn not to fear life, when hurt is their constant companion? With a little bit of hope, a whole lot of faith and an abundance of love, anything is possible. That's what's so special about this author. She pushes readers to open their hearts and believe in the impossible. Love has no boundaries.

Wow what a story!
A beautifully written, emotional tale.
In typical Melissa Foster fashion, you are drawn instantly into the ups and downs of a single mum’s life with her vibrant vivacious child.
Intense feelings develop between the main characters and their relationship deepens day to day until time is up.
You are consumed into this storyline where family, friendship and love reign.
A wonderful story, I look forward to the next Sugar Lake instalment.

Bodhi is wise beyond his years. So serious, he knows what it feels like to loose someone because of the kind of job that he has. He's determined that no one feels that way because of him if he can help it. Bridgette has loved and lost. She knows how sweet it is while it lasts. It was fun seeing the two fall in love, while fighting it.

Bodhi Booker…..Remember that name, because you are going to want to meet this AMAZING Hero!!!

I think I have found a new favorite series. I think this series might just be my favorite of Melissa Fosters. I absolutely adored every word in this book!! I honestly couldn’t read it fast enough. I also couldn’t help getting sucked into the world of Sweetwater.

Only For You is the second standalone novel in Melissa’s Sugar Lake Series. I think this is my favorite so far. Not only is one of my favorite type of stories, Bodhi Booker was just an outstanding Hero. This story is told in Dual POV in the third person. I love that when reading a book from Melissa Foster, she describes everything so well that you can’t help but feel what the characters are feeling. You get swept into their lives.

What happens when the Here and Now turns into to something more….like forever???

That is the question that is answered in this book. In Only For You we follow Bridgette and Bodhi’s journey. Bridgette is the sister to Willow (Book 1 The Real Thing). She own the flower shop that is connected to Willow’s bakery. Bridgette is a widow and a single mom, who isn’t looking for anything serious. She is focused on raising her son and building her business. But little did she know meeting Bodhi Booker in her sister’s bakery would change her life. Turns out Bodhi is her neighbor, but he is only around long enough to fix up the house he bought for his mom. He is an Ex Special Ops and now goes on dangerous rescue missions, so he has said he wouldn’t put anyone through the pain of losing him. So he doesn’t want to form any connections. Little did he know that when he met Bridgette and her son Louie…his life would change forever. Loved watching these two grow to know each other but trying to fight their feelings. Bodhi was such an swoon worthy Hero. He melted my heart and my panties throughout the whole book. I can’t truly express how much I loved his character…..you just need to meet him.

As I said before these books in this series are standalones, but there are interconnected characters because this series is focused around the Dalton siblings. Each of who will get their own books. So I would recommend reading this series in order, but it isn’t necessary. I think you will just get the full effect of this family by reading them in order. These books are fun and entertaining without a lot of excess drama.

I would 100% recommend this book to everyone. If you love a single parent romance book, with a Hero that will melt your heart and a kid who is just as sweet as pie, then you have to read this book!! One of Melissa’s best books to date….in my opinion.

"She was torture and pleasure, sweet and sinful, and he never wanted to let her go."

"His mouth was like an ocean of heat and desire, and she wanted to sail away to the far reaches of the world and disappear into it."

"You came out of nowhere, and suddenly you're all that I see."

This book was absolute perfection. Sweet, swoon-worthy with just the right amount of angst. Only For You had me hooked from the very first page. Bridgette and Bodhi were impossible to not fall for. There is nothing I love more than a romance that hits you when you're least expecting it and it turns your whole world upside down.

I admired Bridgette for doing it all on her own and being the best mom she could be to her son Louie. She was hard-working and so loving, but just needed to remember how to live and how to a woman again. Bodhi was just the distraction she needed. The sparks between the two of them were immediate, but Bodhi's walls were higher than ever. He never wanted to let anyone in and never wanted to make promises he couldn't keep. However, Bridgette might just be the one to make him break all of his rules.....

Only For You was a terrific read from beginning to end. Bodhi and Bridgette's story captivated me and made me fall in love. I devoured this book in just one sitting and couldn't help but fall in love with this story. Only For You is incredibly well written and is filled with lots of heart. I loved Bodhi's rough exterior and seeing him break down his walls. I loved seeing Bridgette come alive again and take a second chance on love.

Only For You hit all the marks for me. This story made me laugh. It made me swoon. It pulled at my heart. And most of all, it made me fall in love.
