This was a fascinating look at what it is like to have always wanted children but been unable to have them.

The thought of grieving for unborn babies was a new concept to me and it was a great way to look at how you may have been as a mother, and what you would have said and done with your babies/children/young adults.

I'm not a mother or parent, and so this book was relatable - funny and moving as well as emotional. Highly recommended whether you have children or not. Every women will relate.

This was such a touching book, sad yet hopeful in many ways. As a mother, I found it quite heart breaking because I know what it is to love someone that I’ve created.

It’s an honest and emotional outpour of coming to terms with leaving a childless life. It was difficult to begin, but therapeutic to complete. So many women struggle with inferility and childbearing issues, many have written about it, but this was a completely different take on it. It was hard to get into because my heart was breaking for this person but it had humor, reality and love. It made me laugh and smile and became a self help. Great read!

This was a really nice book to read, where the author truly exposes her vulnerabilities, regrets and feelings about not having children and how she has shaped her life since then. From the hardships of infertility treatment and the health system then, to the life she has with her husband now and how she has tried to find contentment, this book seems to be a way of closure for her, by writing to her children so they can know her and her hopes for them.
