I thought this book would be very hard to get into but far from it. It is easy to slide into the narrative and educate yourself where the mythos behind the Christian religion comes from. As an educational text it is easy to learn from and as a book an informative read.

Anyone remember the viral documentary that made the rounds about ten years ago? Zeitgeist? No? There's a reason you don't. And there's a reason you won't remember this book, either. Novel ideas do not necessarily need to be tossed out simply BECAUSE they are novel. The novelty of this book, however, is such that if you don't toss it out, you're doing critical scholarship a disservice.
