The US Civil War caused brothers to fight brothers. When a Confederate Doctor is killed and buried in an unknown grave in a Union cemetery his ghost comes back to right some wrongs when his grave marker is stolen. In this investigative reporter mystery, we travel from New York to the deep south and find love and some unscrupulous individuals. I just reviewed The Marker by Diana Savastano. #TheMarker #NetGalley

I wish I could literally take certain books, put them into peoples hands and make them start to read it. The Marker is one of those....A total page turning, historically rich, human to ghost connection story that kept me up waaay past my bedtime because I could not put it away.~ I hit the jackpot when I was granted my request to read this. Thank you Diana Savastano for getting this story from your imagination onto paper, it was absolutely fantastic.

I thought the premise of this book sounded so good, but I was so disappointed. There was so many story lines and characters that it was hard for me to follow the story line. The main character just wasn't very interesting. She had found this historical marker and she just seemed interested in romance and spas and massages. I would not recommend it.
