Adam and Dakota's story. Dakota moves to the small town to recover from a horrible car accident, and the loss of her fiance. He left her after the accident, since she couldn't do the fancy artwork due to the destruction of her hands. Adam is a professional soccer player, who is in town after his dad had a serious heart attack, and he is the real estate agent who gets her into her rental. Sparks fly right away of course, and overall a sweet story, if not a little sappy. Both are not in the lookout for a relationship, but obviously doesn't stop them. I have read others by this author which I liked better, as this one at times doesn't feel as tightly written. Overall though, easy and quick read, and one I recommend.

Christmas Glitter (The Moore Sisters of Montana Book 1) by Ann B. Harrison
This is Dakota Moore and Adam Clements’ story.

I enjoyed Dakota and Adam’s story. This is a sweet and heartwarming story. When Dakota and Adam meet there is definitely chemistry between them. Since they are both going through some tough issues in their life they are trying to hold off on a relationship. Well, when love is involved things are out of our control. Even though Dakota and Adam were going through their own issues they still got involved in helping others and their community.
This was an uplifting and entertaining read.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Well written story with nice storyline and plot. Story of a nice length. Characters are well described and have a sweet chemistry.
A very sweet story that is a bit too much for me. It also becomes too cheesy. Apart from that the story is a quick and easy read. I would have liked it to have more depth in it.
Enjoyable read.

A sweet Christmas romance about finding home and a HEA. There's the perfect mixture of chemistry and smooth flowing dialog to keep the story moving at a quick and satisfying pace. Since this the first book in the series, I can see nothing but success in its future.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley for giving me this book to read in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was given, offered, or taken to alter the opinion.

Christmas Glitter was a sweet, light, and easy read. I really liked the idea of this book and I loved it when I figured out the reasoning behind the title of the book. I hate to criticize any book because I know how much hard work goes into making one, but this book just fell flat for me. I have really loved all of the Hallmark movies turned books and I love Christmas stories, so I was disappointed that this one fell short of the mark for me. This story is told from two different view points, Dakota and Adam. At times the writing and the story just seemed juvenile or forced. Sometimes I thought information was lacking from the story and there were too many questions left unanswered for me. Overall it was a cute story, but it just wasn't my favorite.

After experiencing life changing events, people have the choice of hiding away from them or facing them head on. Dakota Moore has had just such a traumatic series of events and she’s determined to rebuild her life once more, facing life head on. She’s moved to Cherry Lake to start a new life for herself, eager to make the most of opportunities and even volunteering to organise the community’s annual Christmas tree gala.

Adam Clements has suffered injuries which could curtail his career as a top pro-soccer player but has returned home to help his Mum run the family business whilst his Dad recovers from a heart attack. He’s also re-evaluating his life and options . . . Neither Dakota nor Adam are looking for a relationship but fate has other plans for these two, including adding some Christmas sparkle to both their lives!

This is an easy paced romance, one that involves a close-knit community and two people getting to know each other in a realistic time frame. The author’s descriptions are evocative and, at times, I could really imagine the beautiful ornaments that Dakota created. Cody is a brilliant secondary character who has a significant impact on events. It is a heart-warming, festive romance, delightful to escape into - especially at this time of year! It is the first in a new series and I can’t wait to read future stories by this author or in this series.

I requested and received a copy of this novel, via NetGalley. This is my honest review after choosing to read it.

So cheesy and cute! I love these easy read Christmas stories. After recovering from an accident and going through a bad breakup, jewelry designer Dakota Moore is ready for a fresh start and Cherry Lake seems like just the place. An upcoming fundraising opportunity seems like the perfect way for her to get acquainted with all her new neighbors and try her hand at a new venture for her business, but finding love again was never something that she imagined she'd end up finding. This is a sweet romance that proves that love appears when you stop looking for it.

Sadly this one didn’t work for me which was a shame as I do enjoy Tule’s holiday reads.

Unfortunately the book was not for me, no review was publicly posted on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads or Twitter etc, so no ratings were affected in relation to it.

Sadly, this is a case of reader not getting on with the writers style. Not for me on this occasion, which is a shame as i usually get a lot of enjoyment out of Tules Christmas offerings.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. My actual review is 2.5 stars. I liked the idea of this book. It was a sweet, light, easy read. The problem I had with it was everyone just seemed too nice or they were too optimistic about everything. The dialogue at times felt forced and unnatural. This was a light romance novel that many people seem to enjoy, but for me I felt it was lacking the realism of life. Even life in a small town can't always be perfect. There were a few obstacles in the novel, but I felt they were brushed under the table. I did like that this was not a insta-love relationship. It started with friendship until both characters were ready. Overall, if you like Christmas Hallmark movies this book may be one you love.

With a serious injury and failed engagement behind her Jewelry Maker Dakota Moore decided to move to Cherry Lake to be close to her sister and just live life her way. Pro Soccer player Adam Clements came home to help with the family business after his dad had a heart attack. When Dakota stops at the local real estate office to pick up the keys to her rental house she comes face to face with the man who could threaten her 18 month hiatus on men. With Adam taking over the fundraiser planning for his dad the two find themselves working together and growing close to one another. Can they find a way to be together or will they go there separate ways?

I loved this book and it was so well written! The characters seemed so real to me. I couldn’t seem to put it down!

This is an voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This was a cute holiday read about Dakota, jeweler injured by car accident, and Adam, pro-soccer player. When they meet, neither one is interested in a relationship as Dakota was dumped by her fiance, and Adam was too involved in his career.

They both have health issues that they are dealing with so they agree to be friends. For the most part, there is just a lot of sparks between them that they choose to ignore but there were a few conflicts that they had to deal with on their path toward a relationship!

I certainly could agree with Adam's mother who was very frustrated that Adam would not go see the team doctors and kept putting it off and ignoring it. What I found frustrating is that he would finally agree to go just before the big gala that he and Dakota were helping organize. He could have picked any other time but when he finally decides to go, he risks missing the most important event with Dakota.....just shaking my head at him!

Dakota seemed like such a sweet down to earth person so you could understand that Adam and everyone else just liked her! I also liked that she gave Adam a hard time to not keeping his word to Cody - glad that she did that !

I really wish that there had been a bit more description into Dakota's car accident and why she had to spend so much money for medical bills when the accident was not her fault. That part I just did not understand and would have liked to know the "why" behind that. Also, I get that Mari is her half sister but didn't get any info on their relationship in terms of how Mari's mother was involved with Dakota's father - was it before he married Dakota's mom, after marriage and he was cheating? If there was an explanation, I did not see that part.

I saw that this is book one in the Moore sisters series so I look forward to Mari's story. I also hope that we will see Jake find someone down the road after he mourns losing his wife, and it was great that Rachel was surprised at the end with a man of her own!!

Dakota Moore has moved to Cherry Lake to escape her overly protective parents and start over in her metal business. A car accident ruined the nerves in her fingers and doing the fine jewelry work of her past is long gone. She meets Adam Clements when she goes to retrieve the keys from the realty office and he is filling in for his ill father. Adam lives in Seattle and is a pro soccer player. He does not see himself staying in Cherry Lake forever.
Something about Dakota rattles his heart and coupled with the news of his father’s heart disease, Adam finds himself facing possible career altering plans. As he and Dakota work together on projects in Cherry Lake, the possibility for more lingers at their fingertips.

Christmas Glitter is a lovely light, rural Christmas romance. Set in Cherry Lake Montana, this is a sweet story of new beginnings.
Both Dakota and Adam are likeable lead characters, each with their own strengths. Both have a strong sense of family and community.
There were a few little things that didn’t work for me, one of them being the use of the over-used and frankly cringeworthy cliché “spidey senses.” Yuck! My other concern was that some of the dialogue didn’t seem natural to me.
Despite these issues I liked the story overall. It is filled with Christmas spirit and all the associated sparkle and left me with a smile on my face.

This is a sweet holiday that that will warm your heart and keep you entertained from beginning to end. It's very well written and I really enjoyed these characters.

For the past year Dakota Moore has been recovering from a horrible car accident and a broken heart. Now she's moved to Cherry Lake to start over and reconnect with her sisters. She's unsure if she'll ever be able to go back to making the jewelry she is well known for but her creative juices are still flowing. She'll just have to channel them a different way for now.

Adam Clementsis temporarily in Cherry Lake while his father recovers from his recent heart attack. As soon as he can he plans to get back to Seattle and his professional soccer career.

When these two first meet there is an instant connection but the fight it since Dakota isn't sure she's ready to trust anyone just yet and Adam's stay is only temporary. Some things can't be avoided though!

This is a great read and one I would recommend to everyone.

Harrison has brought us a well-written, sweet romance perfect for the upcoming holiday season to help get us in the spirit as we read about a warm community full of great people. She even uses a real Soccer (football for everyone outside the States) Club based in Seattle to help set up her storyline; the Seattle Sounders. I’m admittedly an FC Dallas Fan myself but that didn’t take away from my ability to enjoy the book.

We are introduced to two characters who have experienced huge life events and now need to make some seemingly hard choices. Harrison did a good job bringing in love, grief, fear, and trying to move forward when curveballs get thrown your way. The choices, emotions and actions done by her characters not only felt true to the story but realistic.

Their relationship moving at a slow pace, becoming friends, really helped sell the major changes they were still trying to process which brought them each to Cherry Lake. I hate insta-love with a passion and was glad to see that overdone theme was avoided here.

The charming town of Cherry Lake felt like the perfect backdrop for her story as you could easily imagine yourself holding one of Dakota’s delicate ornaments trying to pick one out for yourself or as a gift.

Overall this had the feeling of one of those Hallmark Holiday movies and if you love those then you’ll definitely need to pick this up.

Professional Soccer Player is a new career for a Montana man, but it works just fine in Christmas Glitter by Ann B. Harrison. Adam is the type of person who comes when he is needed which is part of the attraction for Dakota Moore. This story of recovery, rebuilding and finding a place to belong is all part of this Christmas story, as well as coming home for Adam.

This story flows, making it a relaxing read about love found among the community preparations for Christmas activities. The characters have their issues but are believable and even more important for me in the books I read, Adam and Dakota are likable. It reads quickly without too much drama, nor is it an event packed story. It has supporting characters but not so many it is hard to keep up with them. Most of the story’s focus is on Adam and Dakota. On these busy days of the Holiday Season, this is a wonderful traditional romantic read.
