Hurricane Hill has been a reading experience that makes me think about the moral choices we all have to make on different levels. I loved the descriptive writing style of Chris Leicester, I was able to become engrossed in this story as it unfolds and held me captive from the beginning. Great book

A moving and timely story. I enjoyed reading about the subject of servicemen and learned about the sticky politics our veterans face. See Full review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2367793819

It's a well written and worthy read. I didn't know what to expect at first, but I found myself enjoying this far more than I expected to.

"Hurricane Hill centers on the moral dilemma:
Which life is more valuable; that of a child or a brother-in-arms?"

Those words are what kinda grabbed me and made me want to read this book. With lots of friends and family who are vets, I understand the effects of PTSD.
Enjoyed the book a lot, although at times a bit troubling. Grabbed me from the beginning and had trouble putting it down. Well written with very descriptive prose, Leicester works to bring forward the very important issue of the effects of PTSD in veterans. Worth the time to read! Really sad I don't see more about this book!!

Essentially, I enjoyed the novel, it is extremely well written. The author applies a very descriptive style of writing to full effect. The story is carefully crafted and the reader is drawn in bit by bit, through the use of flashbacks. This is not an easy read but we'll worth the effort. My only knock is, you are halfway through the novel before you have a sense of where the story is going
