The story as a whole was a great thought however the deliverance was not. I found it lacking in character development and was confused some of the time.
I loved the idea of an MC filled with paranormal manly specimans and mates who are their forever.
I found the characters quite stark and uninteresting.
The mc as a whole seemed to be added as a hook but delivered poorly, no research just the basics from every other mc book out there.
The recapping of events that would have been better to be left out..
The editing needs some work also.
I will not be continuing on with this series.

BJARNI by Alexi Ferreira is Book Two in the Elementals MC series. This is the story of Bjarni and Gabriele. I haven't yet read the previous book but really feel that I should have...don't get me wrong this can be a standalone book. But I just felt that I would have liked to get into this series from the beginning so I will be going back to try and find the first book.
Bjarni is apart of the Elementals MC group who aren't quite human where Gabriele is a human. But Gabi has the ability to touch people and see there future.
Gabi has return to her father's bakery now that he has past to try and make a go of it there. She meets a women named Jas and they become friends. Jas is always escorted by some hot guys when she comes into the bakery one sometimes is Bjarmi but he is never friendly. But when Jas ask her to attend a party that they are having this opens up more than just enjoying the party with Jas.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bjarni and Gabriele are mates, soulmates...she just doesn't know it yet...

Gabriele has returned home and after the death of her father is running the family bakery. She is a fantastic baker and is building the business up nicely, enough where she can hire other's to help. She meets Jasmine when a pregnant Jasmine starts coming to her bakery almost daily to get the brownies she loves. Jas always comes in "protected" with some of the most gorgeous men Gabi has ever seen! One in particular, Bjarni, always grabs her attention but he barely speaks to her.

One day Jas invites Gabi to a party the MC is having. Jas is as close to a friend Gabi has so she decides to go. This day will change her life...

Can she and Bjarni make it? Will they survive the turmoil the Keres MC creates?

I really liked the premise of this book, Paranormal and MC meet. Gabi is psychic and can "see" parts of peoples lives when she touches them. This can be very unpleasant so she avoids touching people. Bjarni and the rest of the MC are Elementals, centuries old and have the powers of one of the Earth's elements.

While they do mate...Bjarni doesn't really explain it all to Gabi so of course this causes dissention between the two of them. Gabi is also pretty feisty and doesn't really have a problem expressing her opinions. Gabi also doesn't always think about what she is saying, it just comes out of her mouth, and it was pretty comical.

The story is set in S. Africa and the difference in the way the author phrased some words/sentences really got to me. Example, although not verbatim from the book... Bjarni says "I must go and stop...." where an American biker would say "I gotta go stop". I mean really, when I read the sentence I felt like he was holding a tiny tea cup...

There was also a good amount of repetition. There was a sentence or two that I felt I saw every couple of pages...

As I said, I love the concept and the story was good but couldn't get past these other things.

Really liked this story, it was very original and I’m looking to seeing where the stories lead. My only complaint is sometimes the author tended to ramble a bit

This is a fantasy book about a group of men in an MC who are ‘elements’ and can control elements within the world. Gabriela is a human who happens to see people’s futures when she touches them. Because of this, she avoids touching people. She is a baker and quickly becomes friends with Jasmine (from the first book) whenever she comes into her bakery for her daily brownie. Jasmine is always guarded and this is how she meets Bjarni. Long story short, Gabriela is Bjarni’s mate. He is extremely protective of her and is the ultimate alpha male. The love story between the two characters was sweet and sincere and was written well. I enjoyed reading when it was a scene with them together.
This is my first book from this author and this is book 2 in the series. Without reading the first book, it was easy to understand the story. I do think if I had read book 1 first I would have known a little more useful information to the story line. Since I didn’t read the first book, I had a hard time getting into this book - it actually took me a few chapters for me to start enjoying it. Maybe this book needs a quick summary (more then what is already there) in the first few chapters. I would still recommend this story to someone who enjoy paranormal books.

This is a new author and genre of book for me to read and I can say that I enjoyed it very much. The possessive, have to always have my girl sit on my lap, or hold on to her throughout the book was great. It really showed how much he wanted to be around her and it didn't matter who was around. He really just wanted to show her affection all the time. I love that aspect of this book. The closeness and bond between the members of the MC was so good, like these guys really did have each other backs and it wasn't just for show. What happen to the bakery? What happen to her house where she lived before she met Bjarni? There are a few loose ends but otherwise this was a really easy book to get lost in and caught up in all the drama going on with the club.

While I really like MC books this one is in need of major editing before it will allow someone to read it seamlessly.

Interesting story concept with some great suspense and romance but I only gave it 3 stars because it was so hard to read. I understand ARC copies aren't going to be perfect but the author should at least read thru before submitting. There were random parts of paragraphs and chapters out of order that made it very difficult to get into.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

I wasn’t very pleased with this book. I am not a fan of Bjarni, since he sort just assumes that Gabriela, his old lady/ girlfriend/ wife is going to give up all other dreams, aspirations, job or career options in order to be their devoted lover. I am all for falling in love, but not about being replaced by a pod person that only thinks about the significant other and loses all drive that made them who they were before. The possessiveness, the trying to make decisions for the other person without 1st asking if it’s okay. Okay and what is up with the Jezebels? Like why name them Jezebels? Hey it’s totally okay for a modern woman to like sex and not be labeled a Jezebel. They all live together. Bjarni has slept with a lot of Jezebels then brings his old Lady to live with him and all the Jezebels. And then Gabriela's the one who apologizes, when it’s his freaking fault. WTF!!!

Between Gabriela's gift, and the fact that these men has magical powers over the elements and have lived for centuries I think that it could have been way better. It fell short.
