The third book in the Matchmaker Cafe Series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is Emma and Björn's story which I enjoyed. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Emma owns a French bakery outside of Seattle. After her mother's death, she has cared for her grandmother and run the bakery. That is all she has time for but her life is missing something.

Bjorn has returned from Alaska and believes that he can go back to the relationship he has always had with Emma but Emma wants nothing to do with him. She is tired of being in the friend zone. She wants more from Bjorn but she knows he will just leave her again, just like he always has.

While attending a Valentine's ball at the Matchmaker's Cafe, Emma and Bjorn are transported back through time to Paris at the beginning of the French Revolution. Will they be able to find true love between them and will they be able to return home safely?

I enjoyed this story. Although, it isn't the genre I normally enjoy reading, the story was sweet and clean and adventurous, harrowing at times.

I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
