This was a fluffy, fast and fun erotic read. If you want to pass some time reading some hot menage action, you'll enjoy this book.

If you really enjoy the historical aspects of erotica stories, you won't find much of that here. The time period didn't seem ver.y real to me. I just found it hard to believe that the naive, virgin heroine would tell a duke who is basically a stranger how she was enthralled with a story about two men pleasing a woman . Someone she really didn't know, and she was in love with someone else? Also, the supernatural aspect just didn't seem to belong here. But as I stated, if you want enjoyable erotica with not much of a story, don't hesitate to read this. I'll give this author another shot.

I read Two Dukes are Better Than One by Lorna James and I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you like erotic historical menage, you will love this book. This was quite nice MFM romance and I loved those characters. The Lady Sophia is just like me, and sometimes when I read this book, I had feelings that this is just like me. Well, some what Lady Sophia says were what I think also use if I got similar situations. A plot was nice and not too hot but also it wasn't too light. Sometimes there were parts where I wished more emotions but overall, it was a quick, easy and nice to read, when reading is almost only thing what you supposed doing when temperatures are so highs outside of houses.

So Many things went wrong with this book... from unbelievable characters to nonexistent plot via such strange working That made me cringe or roll my eyes.
Good MFM story Would captivate me, but here I am bored and angry at That book... meh...
Also Time setting and "frivolous virgin" going Like That is not what I find well... accurate There.
I will not try anything written by Ms. Lorna James again for sure - and with That, I was wondering if any editor or beta reader had ever read it before publishing?
Also where The hell Magic thing came That was put in The end out of nowhere... a whole book was about normal World...

This book is steamy and involve a couple of dreamy Dukes. This was a quick read but had a decent plot. This is often not the case with the erotic genre. I wish the book would have been longer as I felt the ending was kind of anticlimactic. I enjoyed the mystical aspect of the book as well. If you enjoy a well-written book containing historical erotica, this is the book for you. I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley.

A steamy book in this genre.
Easy and quick to read and fulfilled all expectations. Good storyline.

Fairly well done. The story had an actual plot, decent dialog and readable characters. Most erotic fiction are lacking some of this. Also, a pretty well written romance, Although as historical fiction it was lacking and failed on detail. I'd give it a solid 3.5 if half points were allowed. Something better than fair, but not quite up to what I'd consider 4 star or above. Definitely readable though.

I chose to read this book because I am into the erotica genre. Maybe it was the time and place of the setting of the book, but I just could not get into it. I read about 30% before deciding that I could no longer force myself through this book.

Torn between her feelings for her first love and the lust she feels for his enemy, Sophia dreams of them both, but never imagined they want to share her. Her dreams do come true though.

I loved the otherworldly, tarot reading bits...this was a great device to getting to know Sophia. Her Dukes are hot and sexy, and their scenes are equally erotic as They taught her pleasure.

My only problem was that the book was short, the resolution to their problems was anticlimactic. I’d also love to know why the Dukes share women, are they in love with one another? I wanted more.

Recommended as a quick sexy read, the fantasy of 2 hot Dukes is even better than 1.

I received a free copy for an honest review from Netgalley. This was a quick read and exactly what the book blurb says it is going to be. The supernatural and tarot cards got boring fast but it delivered on the steamy.

This was my first book I have read by Lorna James but it will definitely not be my last. Once I started reading this book I could not put the book down until I finished. I received an free copy of this book for an honest review. After reading it I purchased a copy to have for my collection. I cannot wait to read her next book. Ms. James has a great writing ability and you will not be disappointed. The love scenes are wonderful hot, steamy and erotic.

This book was a super fast read. It's the perfect summer read. I like story in my romance though and unfortunately for me this book was mostly scandal. If you enjoy the scandal more than the story...this book is PERFECT for you!
I really enjoyed the bit of mystery in this novel and LOVED the "supernatural" aspects that are in the story.
I truly never thought I'd encounter what I encountered in this book...in a historical romance novel. LOL.
That being said...I don't regret reading it. But it definitely was BEYOND the just plain romance novel.
Ain't no scandal like a two duke scandal!

In 1875 in London Lady Sophia Hodges has always been considered odd and somewhat of an outcast due to her mystic nature. Most people avoid her despite her being a lady. One night some of the ladies dare Sophia to go to the library at a ball telling her it is haunted and there are spirits in there. When Sophia gets to the library no spirits appear to her instead Cromwell Stone the duke of Kendal also known as Stone is there. Stone is amused at Sophia but when he discovers that she has a proclivity for erotic literature Stone is instantly intrigued and decides he must have her instead. Of course Stone wants Sophia not only for himself but for other sexual things too that include Huxley Brigmore the duke of Bedford. When Stone wants Sophia to be his betrothed she is less than pleased because she has always loved Huxley. How will Sophia handle being married to Stone who is the mortal enemy of Huxley? When Sophia learns the truth between Huxley and Stone will she be able to handle their erotic natures too?
This was a pretty fascinating historical regency story by Ms. Lorna James. I think what drew me in was definitely the beautifully well done cover and the ménage a trios of the possible pairing of two guys and girl in historical times. Now I think some true historical aficionados will be upset and disappointed that the mores and rules of society are definitely thrown out the window but for me who enjoys a good naughty story that isn’t so strict with history and doesn’t mind the erotica in a story historical or likewise then this story is perfect. The story had very little plot but was still a lot of fun with lots of erotica described and did have some nice characterizations even without the history. Sophia is a pretty good heroine curious about sex but still maintaining the innocent naiveté of a young woman of the times and who believes in tarot cards and spirits making her likable. I didn’t care for Cromwell Stone in his brash attitude about Sophia’s belief in spirits and his disregard for them or in just wanting her because of sexual curiosity. I kind of felt he should of stuck up for her. Huxley was a little bit better and a little easier to like more than Stone because at least he respected Sophia’s beliefs and appeared to care about her. I still enjoyed the improbability of the story and if I ever want to get away from true historical romance than I would willingly read more by Ms. James.

Thisromantic escapedes of two Dukes who felled in love with the same girl. Sophia is not the typical virginal character, she is curious about sex after she reads a manuscript that describes the adventures of a man hiding in a convent dressed as a nun. In this manuscript, Sophia discovers an scene that intrigues her and after being corner by Stone, she reveal to him that this scene is her favorite in the manuscript. I. Turn he tells Huxley his best friend. Huxley had been in love with Sophia for a long time and both him and Stone agreed to make sure Sophia will know all the pleasures described in the manuscript. The story by Lona James was well written, I was really hook with the love story of Huxley and Sophia and the practicality of Stone.

enjoyable hot read. nothing too serious so it is a great read if you have other things going on around you and can't give 110%. but definitely want to catch on to the hotness. had a little difficulty with the setting as it historical settings and I normally prefer contemporary settings. Some of the storyline felt rushed and sometimes I felt like I was rushed throught the line - so to speak but I would definitely read again

Excellent book with great storyline. Having two men love you at the same time is a dream come true. Did not see the cousin/half brother surprise plot.

Fun story with a little bit of paranormal element. A longer story would have been nice to add to the drama and develop the characters' personalities.

An enjoyable read for a lazy afternoon. Some of the story line is unresolved though so parts read as if the book is part of a series. (which I don't believe it is...).

You know what they say two is always better than one haha. This book was very entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed the content and found it to be quite pleasing from all angles. It certainly ticks all the boxes and is a great novel if your looking for something exciting to read.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Sophia is a nobles daughter who doesn't have any marriage prospects. Shes considered wierd by the ton; She's into the occult (tarot cards, ghosts, spirits). Niether she or her father believe she will marry so her father buys her a book about a nunnery, which actually turns out to be a dirty book. This book inadvertently leads to a marriage proposal from Duke. Meanwhile both her fiance and his friend (another Duke) set out to tame Sophia so she's amiable to both their advances.

Overall the book was fairly hot and steamy. There was a lot of love scenes. The book isn't very long but it's well written and a unique menage. Well worth the read.

Sophia has an interest in the occult and an erotic manuscript with an innocuous title. This brings her to the notice of Stone, who offers to marry her. The problem is, according to Society he is at odds with Huxley, the man that Sophia actually desires. Little does she know that they actually share everything, even their women.

Sophia is a fun character, and her innocent curiosity is amusingly endearing. Stone and Huxley are supposed to be incredibly handsome and sexy, but I didn't find them too different from the standard dukes of Regency romance novels other than their propensity to share a lover at the same time. The sex is incredibly hot and well done, and adds to the relationship between the three of them.
