Clara Leigh delivered a great romance! Dylan & Kira were a great addition to this series! I enjoyed their journey.

I voluntarily reviewed this book.

Dylan Drake definitely captivated attention around him. His ability to enjoy life was something he coveted. When his life is threatened the studio hires Kira’s company to keep him safe. He’s been out for ten long years but his thoughts begin to change everything he is in Kira’s presence. The
latent attraction threatens to consume them both as she fights to keep him safe. They get closer than they ever thought possible but will it ever be enough? Definitely a winner that will keep you reading long into the night.

This was another really good book from Clara I had read and loved the first book in the series so when I got the chance to read this one I jumped at the chance and I am glad I did.It was a great read. When Kira becomes Dylan's undercover bodyguard he is not expecting to be attracted to her after all he's been out for over a decade but his body just is not listening.I just loved Kira she was such a strong character you cannot help but like her. This is a super read with plenty of twists you will not want to put it down.

This wasn't what I was looking for. Mostly erotica, not a fleshed out story. Too bad. It had potential. The writing style was also very simplistic. Not for me.

Clara Leigh
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I wasn’t sure about this one before I started reading it. I had read a few reviews and they were either on one end of the spectrum or the other. People either loved this book or they didn’t.
At the beginning I was a bit confused but as I kept reading I began to enjoy the book and then got to a point I couldn’t put it down because I was intrigued and had to find out what was gonna happen next.
The first half of the book is a bit of a teaser and you just want Kira and Dylan to fuck and get it out of the way. There’s so much sexual tension between the two of them and it drove me crazy.
I look forward to more by Clara Leigh in the future.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review. #SexBomb #NetGalley
The man to man fellatio put me off a bit - it was too early in the story and it's not the scene you're expecting when starting a book.
Great sex scenes between Dylan and Kira but I thought they used each other more than anything and that isn't right (and unprofessional on Kira's part).
I loved the action, the suspense and all that BUT Kira was pretty much worth nothing as a security agent.
At the end we still don't know if this is permanent or not and what about his other 98% penchant?
Unresolved issues - too many.
This could have been a great story but the author completely missed it.

Sex Bomb is an angsty, frustrating, straight for you "romance." Quotes around romance because there's little to no romance in it. Dylan is a famous out movie star who has recently garnered a stalker of sorts and now he has a female bodyguard to watch over him. He's really confused and frustrated by her because for some insane reason, he's wildly attracted to her. He's always known he was gay, his entire life, he's an advocate for the LGBT community even, so this development has him reeling. I completely understand his confusion, but he was far too in his head about it and it caused him to treat Kira, his bodyguard, terribly.

He figures if he can just sleep with her a couple times, it will get her out of his mind, and things will go back to normal. Normal being where he sleeps with tons of men and leaves them right after. But nope, he and Kira have some steamy times between the sheets and he still can't get her out of his mind, even finds he wants her all the more.

In the background is the whole stalker thing, the whole reason Kira is in his life at all, and the villain turned out to be a nutter with a stupid reason. In fact, I found this whole story to be kind of stupid. It sounded interesting, but at the end, I found myself annoyed that I had wasted a couple days reading something with characters I completely disliked (especially Dylan), too much angst, and not a satisfying resolution/conclusion. The end didn't wrap things up much at all and I had the feeling that Dylan and Kira will not make it as a couple in the future.

Sex Bomb was a definite no for me, but don't let this turn you off, because it may have just been me. On the other hand, it may just be that Dylan was a whiny jerk, and Kira was an idiot for putting up with his bs.

If you don't like dirty, sexy reads, this is not the book for you. It is all about the dirty sex! But it's also about how the parties involved build a solid relationship around all that dirty sex. Very engaging from start to finish.

I had not read anything by this author before and certainly not anything in this series. I wasn’t lost, and I don’t know that you have to have read the other books to understand this book.

I admit that I’m not a fan of the “actor” as protagonist so that undoubtedly influenced me a little. Dylan is a really self-involved (jerk) guy and though I found his internal monologue funny I never warmed up to him as an MC. Never.

I was fascinated by the idea of a “reverse GFY” – a gay man who’d never had sex with a woman who finds himself falling for a woman. There were some funny moments and I thought it was interesting that the author made Kira as she did – with some non-traditional traits that might have appealed to the gay MC.

In any case, I didn’t like this book – at all. Dylan was a jerk. Kira put up with way too much BS. The sex was too prominent and the emotions non-existent. I don’t feel that even Dylan thinks he’ll settle down with Kira by the end. (He talks about how he might feel about other women as he does Kira but he hasn’t yet. At the end. So… no big declarations of love, no commitment… just more sex.)

I’d classify this as erotica more than a romance and I think it was interesting as a mental jaunt, but there were so many things that could have been done with it that were ignored. The author didn’t explore demi- sexuality – or really even bi-sexuality. Though he’s a prominent LGBTQ actor, he’s afraid of being bi!

I just couldn’t warm up to this couple and I don’t recommend it. If you enjoyed the others in the series then you will probably like this as well.

I received a copy of this novel in exchange for a fair review.
This novel is not for everyone. The main characters are extremely difficult to like. Dylan, a sex god actor who insists that he is only gay has issues. Lots of issues. He lives in denial that he could be attracted to a woman even while having sex with her, to the point even she cannot stand his repetition that he's really, really completely gay. He believes that if he is found to love a woman, he will be kicked out of the gay community with ridicule, even though there is still very much a B in LGBT. He cannot bottom because of his childhood rape at the hands of his step-father, and was abused by his mother. He literally accuses Kira of trying to seduce him to win him back to "the other team" in order to destroy him, when she had done nothing to suggest an interest to him aside from doing her job. When trying to forget Kira, he masturbates while remembering his step-father's words to him. The word bisexual comes up twice and he reacts to it like it's a curse word. He has issues.
Kira is the more likeable protagonist, but has a rough start. When the book begins and she is talking about how Dylan broke her heart with two words, I was convinced they had met before, her words were so strong. She attributed several orgasms to him in the past. Instead, his coming out on tv is what broke her heart and they have never met until she must protect him. She makes a lot of disparaging internal comments about the loss womankind has suffered and what he has deprived them of by being gay, when as a star, the likelihood of hooking up with him is already limited, and he could easily be taken off the market by a woman as well. However, she gets a lot better, and seems to own up to this thinking later on, like a mature and responsible adult. Instead of giving into Dylan's frequent insanity, she recognizes that what they have doesn't have to be permanent, and deflects his attempts to turn her into a dirty secret while still enjoying the sex. She has backbone, and is good at her job, and by the end of the novel, I had no problem with her. She knows what she wants and doesn't fold when Dylan is unreasonable.
The sex scenes between her and Dylan are hot, and interesting. They both experiment and bring different skills to the table, and are open about what they want.
I haven't read the other books in the series, and you will be fine reading this if you don't read the others, but several characters from them reappear. Dylan's friends seemed more interesting than he was, as one is in a committed relationship with two other people and doesn't recoil at the word bisexual. His story is the second book in the series, and I might pick up that one to forget about Dylan. The author has a clear voice and I would read some of her other books, but Dylan and his many issues and bi-phobia made me wish Kira would join up with his polyamorous friend instead.

Wow, a first for me by this author. What a funny read, it made me laugh with its witty dialogue and made me blush with its steamy bedroom scenes and alternately it made me frown and CTY as the trauma of Dylan's past it revealed snippet by snippet.
Engrossing read that flowed together as it unfolded.

Oh wow I’ve not read much by this author and I’m starting to think why not as this book grabbed me hook, line and sinker. I thought the first two books I’ve read in this series where just amazing but this one was so much more and I loved everything. The characters, first and secondary, the chemistry
(fans herself lol) and the storyline has fantastic and it will catch other people’s attention like it did mine. Really can’t wait for more by this talented author.

Sex Bomb by Clara Leigh
Forbidden Bad Boys #3

Dylan Drake is the ultimate heart throb and everything that Kira Carter-Wells once lusted after. At least he WAS until he came out and destroyed her dreams. When she is sent in to be Dylan’s security when his life is threatened her boss is sure that she is the perfect person for the job because…well…Dylan is NOT into women. And yet, Dylan IS attracted to Kira and he is clueless and in denial for most of the book while trying to deal with the interest his body is showing when he knows his preference for partners has always been 100% male oriented. Throw into the mix a whack-job that is threatening him, a bomb, some shots fired and more threats not only to his body but to his mental wellbeing and you have an interesting book indeed. I think my major takeaway (besides the heat factor) was that sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for why two people are attracted to one another and it behooves a body to take relationships that could be special, though different, one step at a time and explore them carefully rather than closing the door on something just because…

Thank you to NetGalley and Crush Star Media LLC for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Dylan Drake knows exactly where he lies on the Kinsey scale. He’s been ‘out’ for over a decade, but when the studio behind his latest show insists on providing a female undercover bodyguard for a red carpet event he’s totally unprepared for what Kira Carter-Wells and her hot curves do to him.Kira’s mission is simple… Arrive late, depart early, and in between ensure her drop dead sexy charge stays out of trouble. But keeping one of Hollywood’s favourite bad boys in check isn’t easy, especially when he refuses to acknowledge the danger he’s in. The book is amazing. When I started reading I couldn't put it down. This is the first book I read from Clara.Keep up the great work.
